“Joanna was great! Very communicative, reliable, and my cats loved her. Her passion for pets shines through every check in and update and I felt totally comfortable leaving my kitties in her hands and have already rebooked her. 5 stars!”

“We hired Lily for a last minute pet sit after our other pet care plans fell through and she did an awesome job! We felt like we could really enjoy our weekend away without stressing because we knew our guy was in great hands (and got lots of photos and updates). Wish she wasn’t moving because she’d be our first choice to watch our dog next time we go out of town!”

“Valerie was absolutely amazing. She took care of my two boys and they absolutely love her! I’m so happy with her care and treatment, she made me feel at peace everyday she took care of them. I will definitely be calling her back any time I need her services. Highly recommend going with her”

“Krista was amazing and took the best care of our 3 mischievous kittens! We were able to relax on our vacation knowing they were in her care being loved, played with, and safe.”

“Shelby is just amazing with our puppy, Zoe! She has tons of patience and provides detailed feedback every day about her behaviors. It is great to know your that your walker cares so much about your doggie and wants to remain consistent with training techniques. We will use her as much as we can :)”

“Jane was great with my cat and sent prompt responses to all of my messages. She gave helpful updates and sent photos and videos, which was appreciated. She was patient with my girl, who is very shy with new people :) thank you, Jane!!”

“Camilla was great with my new pup Storm. I’m an overnight nurse & i feel so bad leaving him in a crate during my long hours. I’m so grateful that she was able to play with him for a period of time. Will definitely use her in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Jessica H. I love animals and I just can’t seem to get enough of them! I've owned pets my entire life! And I’ve owned dogs for more than 14 years. - Fun fact: I've received a certificate by Continental Kennel Club for completion of Level 1 Student Curriculum Basic Canine Care and Handling in 2013. The Canine Care & Training Program taught me how to properly care for dogs, providing me with the skills necessary for training dogs, and teaching me how to effectively understand and communicate with them. -I am happy to assist with any special needs your pet might have, and give them the extra attention they will need while they are away from you. For first time Rover users, enter my promo code JESSIH35408 for $20 off my services! I look forward to taking care of your furry friend! My schedule: I’m available for Dog Boarding services Mon-Fri & weekends and Daycare services Wednesdays/weekends ONLY. I work Mon-Fri and some Saturdays and I am off on Wednesdays. -I have a fenced yard and a small pup to keep your fur baby(s) company! I can provide crating if needed. I have a large playpen at home so your pup can play and move around when I’m not home/running errands.
“Kim was great with my cat Kenny, giving him lots of playtime, treats and brushies while I was away. She also kept the litter box area nice and tidy. Overall, very professional and I would recommend.”

About: My name is Ashley. I am 21 and a graduate from Texas Tech University. I am preparing for graduate school at the University of Miami. I am spending the summer gaining some professional experience with pet-sitting. I have lifetime experience with family animals including dogs of various breeds. I would love the opportunity to help you take care of your animals this summer! I’m currently able to abide by any schedule necessary as I have not current engagements set, but I may leave for short periods of time to visit with friends and family. Safety of pets is of my highest priority, ensuring your pets stay in the safe, healthy, and comfortable environment that you have made for them.

About: Letting a stranger into your home or handle your pet can be scary! As your sitter, I promise to put you at easy following every detail to the T! No job is too much! No ask is too wild! I’m here to help you! I’ve grown up with pets in the house my whole life! As of right now, my fiance and I own one cat, Cher, and one dog, Leia. Although it’ll just be me taking care of your pets! I am an elementary music teacher looking for a flexible side job for the summer. I’m use to taking care of 25 or so 4-12 year old children, so I promise your fur babies are in good hands❤️ My fiance and I tag team Leia! In the summer months, I take on more responsibility as I have much more free time during the day! We spend lots of time at the park, taking walks around our neighborhood, and lots of snuggles! I’m looking for an enjoyable, side summer job, and Rover is perfect for it! With so much free time, I’m looking to get out of the house, pet some new pets, and make a little money while I’m at it! I am flexible to do what ever works best for you and your pet whether that means playing inside, playing in your yard, going on a walk, or going to the park!
“Zoe was amazing and followed the directions I left for her. Despite some hiccups, she did a wonderful job taking care of Chili while I was away. She even spent time to play and hang around with Chili, despite me saying it was optional.”

“Ivanna is wonderful and took such great care of our pets! We loved getting the photo updates with every check-in and little notes that kept us worry-free. Thank you so much!”

“I highly recommend Lindsey! She was very flexible, communicative, and took extra time to hang out with my dog, Hank, during the her check ins. She’s also a dog owner and lover :) I plan to book with Lindsey again.”

“Stephanie was so easy to work with and very responsive. She cared for my 2 cats while I was on vacation. She is sooo good with cats, pays great attention to details, and took time to play with my fur babies. Even my super shy rescue cat loved her right away! Will definitely rely on Stephanie again in future trips! Highly recommend her service.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Carrollton
Maria is so sweet and soent quality time bonding with and taking care of our sweet and playful kitten. We love the pictures she sent and suggestions she had for his best care. There was even a moment where we had to change his routine while on vacation because he didn’t drink enough water and we became worried. Having Maria put us at ease because she began feeding him wet food with probiotics, effortlessly adjusting his routine with zero issues. We definitely found our first choice cat sitter moving forward! We love Maria and we know our sweet Benjamin is so thrilled to see her again soon!

Joanna is one of the sweetest person I’ve met. She loves pets and she shows them so much loving care when the owners are out. My cats missed me but I found them happy and healthy upon my return. And she’s also very thoughtful. She realized the following day was our trash day and she took out our trash and roll the bin to the curbside…oh my! I appreciated so much!

Jamie did a fantastic job. Absolutely perfect. My wife and I were away for ~5 days and she came over to check on our 2 german shepherds twice a day. She paid attention to them, walked them, made sure they had food and water and overall just cared for them. Would not hesitate to book again, and we will! Highly recommended!

Dasia is great, punctual. She gets to know your pets. She asks questions instead of guessing when it comes to caring for your baby. She keeps special instructions documented in notes. I received daily pics of Little Lola. I am definitely comfort with Dasia watching my dog again! I’m glad I found her. She is great!

- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
