“Our boy Mickey had so much fun. He was a happy boy when we picked him up from daycare with Jane and was relaxed for 2 days! A tired boy is a good boy ;) Mickey will be spending more time with Jane who sends pictures and puts her 💕 into taking care of Mickey!”

“Can’t say enough good things about Shalini & Jerry. They have been taking such good care of my little pup :) You can tell from his temperament that it has improved and just how well mannered he is becoming by being with them during the day. Can’t thank them enough for all the care :)”

“This sitter is amazing..my dogs love going there, she recently bailed me out for medical emergency with last minute boarding. Beyond being a great sitter, she is a quality person!”

“They went above and beyond. Helping us train our brand new puppy in potty training, crate training, and helping him concern the stairs. They did an absolutely amazing job, we will make sure to go back to them whenever we need a sitter for our puppy!”

“Silvana exceeded expectations! She truly cares about all aspects of dog and puppy care and has the know-how, experience and setup to make everything amazing. There is a 100% chance I’ll be coming back.”

“Kayleigh was absolutely wonderful!! The dog sitter we’d originally scheduled had to cancel at the last minute, and we were scrambling to find someone else and she came to rescue! She was friendly, communicative, and she took wonderful care of our dog. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

About: I've always loved dogs and have both lived with roommates' dogs in the past and watched friends' dogs for short and long periods, finally adopting my current pup from a shelter in 2022! I also foster for a rescue, helping decompress, rehabilitate, and train dogs of various ages and temperaments. I've helped raise and train multiple puppies and a few adult dogs as well, including basic and intermediate command training and continual practice/reinforcement, so puppies and training are my two strongest specialties! I work from home full-time, so I'll be able to keep an eye on your beautiful pups all day and let them out every 3-4 hours for breaks, plus spontaneous playtime in-between! I am available for boarding or daysitting. I have a fenced backyard, a fully-secure gated driveway, a dog run for potty time, a comfy specifically-designated "doggie playroom" in the house, and two pups of my own (a suuuper gentle 40lb border collie mix plus an incredibly playful 20lb poodle mix) to keep your fur babies company and entertained during their stay!
“Paulina was fantastic! Not only did she take my pup in with less than a days notice, she was super flexible when I ended up working later than planned. I got so many updates and pics, and my pup even made some friends with the other dogs. She was very attentive to my dog and his needs, probably the best sitter to have!”

“My dog had so much fun at Matthew’s house playing with his 2 dogs he didn’t want to leave! I was super comfortable leaving Oliver there knowing he was in great hands. I highly recommend Matthew 🙂🙂🙂”

“She’s the best. She kept me informed almost every hour. She is kind generous and so sweet with my dog!!!!!!!!! And thank you for accepting the last minute update 🥹”

About: I've loved and cared for animals my whole life dogs, cats, and everything in between. My household includes a golden retriever and an orange cat, so your pet is coming to a home where animals are family. I have hands-on experience with everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, medication administration, and even newborn kitten emergency care. I treat every pet like my own with patience and genuine love. Your fur baby won't just be watched, they'll be spoiled. I run my own business from home so I'm around pretty much all day! Your pet won't be sitting alone waiting for someone to come check on them, I'm literally always here. That means regular feeding, playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the whole day, not just morning and night. No rushing home from an office, no long gaps, just consistent care all day long. My home is a real pet household, I have a cat and a golden retriever of my own so your pet is coming into a space that already understands animals. I'm super attentive, I notice changes in behavior or appetite quickly, and I take pet safety seriously. Since I work from home I can keep a close eye on your pet at all times and give you updates throughout the day so you always know how your baby is doing. Your pet's comfort and safety is always my number one priority.
“Jessica was great! She sent me period messages and photos to ensure my dog was adjusting well during daycare. Piper was exhausted from all the fun and slept alllllll night long. Thanks Jessica!”

“Dulce is the best! She took great care of my pet beagle Lucy. Even when i've had to make some last minute schedule changes, Dulce has been very accomodating. Even her dog Otis is such a sweetheart! Throughout the day she would be in touch with me as to how Lucy was doing, which I greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all your help Dulce!”

About: Now that my sweet senior yorkie is no longer with me, I enjoy spending my free time with your fur babies! I love meeting new pups while also happily welcoming back familiar faces. I will love on your little ones as if they are my own. My priority is making sure that you feel at ease knowing that your pups are being properly loved on while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m up very early so early walks are welcomed! Just let me know your pet’s special needs. For dog walking, I won’t walk more than 2 dogs at a time of similar size and temperaments for safety. For boarding, I am only able to accept small-medium sized dogs at this time. I have a 1 bedroom apartment so small-medium dogs will be the most comfortable here. I do not have a yard but there is a dog park in my building and a huge park down the street. I also have a balcony that the dogs like to go on for fresh air. So your dog will get tons of exercise if they like.
About: I'm always the first one called when a family member or friend is in need of a pet sitter. It can be so difficult to find someone who will love and care for your pet the way you would. As a fellow dog owner I understand the immense amount of love we feel for our furry babies. I'm currently a stay at home dog/human mom so I'll have plenty of time for your pup! I have a small, fenced in backyard area and a funny golden doodle named Chapo to keep your fur baby company. I can crate your dog if needed. We have a neighborhood pond with a trail that we love to take walks around. Pet care is woven into my daily routine like a comfy dog bed! With a flexible schedule, I spend plenty of time giving pets the love and attention they deserve. Plus, my goofy doodle and daughter love having new playmates around. Naps, snacks, and lots of belly rubs are always on the agenda! In my home, pets enjoy a fenced-in backyard area for play, plenty of snacks, and cozy nap spots. At your home, I ensure walks, playtime, and all the belly rubs

Jen and Ohell took amazing care of my two boys and I would definitely rebook for my next dog care needs. They were extremely responsive and communicative. Drop off and pick up was easy, convenient and flexible. I was able to focus on my work knowing my boys were well taken care of and comfortable. Thank you again!

10/10 would definitely recommend! She took really good care of Siah and made him feel comfortable right away, which I appreciated a lot. She even took him on a walk and kept me updated, which gave me peace of mind. Siah and Kenzo also got along really well. They played together great and had a good time. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she watches. I’ll for sure be booking with her again!

This was Momo’s second time at daycare, and it went great! It was also her first time eating outside of home, which was a big step for her. Clara took such good care of Momo and made sure she felt comfortable. We really appreciate the attention and care she gave. Thank you

Chris was amazing! She was so patient and kind with my puppy, and she made sure he felt comfortable the entire time. She answered every question I had, including a few about training, and shared some really helpful tips that we’ve already started using. I’m genuinely grateful for the care and attention she gave. Chris truly went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Carrollton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
