“Jordan was incredible with our little Rozlyn. She made sure Rozlyn’s walks were fun and she got adequate exercise. I appreciate her patience, attentive approach, calm demeanor and caring treatment of Rozlyn. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

About: I’m a proud dog mom to Bailey, my sweet 5-year-old Labradoodle, so I know firsthand the joy (and the zoomies!) that come with caring for a pup. Over the years I’ve also cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all different ages, sizes, and personalities—including a pup who was sick and needed pills along with lots of extra TLC. With me, your dog will be cared for like family 🐾💛 Both my husband and I work from home, so there’s always someone here to give walks, play, and snuggles throughout the day. And as a dog parent myself, I know what it feels like to be away from your furry best friend and just want updates for peace of mind. I’ll make sure to provide consistent updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and loved. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, loving environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I follow each dog’s usual routine for meals, walks, and rest, and I share regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is happy, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Hilda has been an absolute lifesaver during my recovery from knee surgery. She's come by 2 or 3 times a day to walk Nyx. Nyx is always excited to see her and comes back from her walks happy and tired! I'll definitely be using Hilda's services again.”

“Shelby is incredible! She sends great reports, is super sweet, is very responsive, and is obviously great with animals! As long as she’s available, I will use her every time!”

“Dak loves Mariana, he gets really depressed when we have to leave him, but the highlight is he gets to walk twice a day with her. She is kind and patient. We appreciate very much the help she provides and she is easy to reach at anytime..”

“I’m so happy to have found Rezvan! She was very professional and personable. She took wonderful care of my 110lb Great Pyrenees puppy, and left him happy and worn out at the end of his walk.”

“Lily was phenomenal!! She not only responded to my request I sent at an ungodly hour due to a family emergency but also was beyond accommodating!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with their fur baby. Such a sweetheart 🥰”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I’ve regularly watched family friends’ dogs and neighbors’ dogs, and I have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. Whether your dog is young and full of energy, needs extra exercise and playtime, or is older and needs a slower, more careful approach, I’m happy to adjust my care to what makes them most comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently a chiropractic student, so I have a structured school schedule that allows me to plan my days around pet care. I have a dog of my own, and I make sure he gets outside 3–4 times a day. I also make it a priority to come home from school and check on him to make sure he’s doing well. I would provide that same level of care and attention to other people’s dogs. I’m happy to work walks, potty breaks, and check-ins into my daily routine, and I’ll always make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and taken care of while you’re away. I have a very friendly Mini Goldendoodle of my own who absolutely loves being around people and other dogs. I also have a fiancée who adores dogs just as much as I do, so our home is a loving and welcoming environment for pets. When caring for a client’s dog, I treat them like they’re my own. I make sure they are supervised, safe, comfortable, and getting the attention and care they need. I’m also respectful of each owner’s home and routines and will follow any specific instructions you provide. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in a safe, caring environment while you’re away.

“We were SO happy to find Evan! He is very soft-spoken and kind. I think our girls really enjoyed their walks with him. He was also very responsive via text! We look forward to using Evan again soon!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
