About: What sets me apart is the amount of real experience I’ve had taking care of my family’s dogs over the years. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and sizes, so I’m very comfortable adjusting to whatever a dog needs. Puppies, big energetic dogs, seniors who need a slower pace , none of it is a hassle for me. I’m patient, responsible, and used to handling different routines and personalities. I really enjoy making dogs feel safe, cared for, and understood, and I always treat them the same way I’d treat my own. Pet care fits into my routine really well. I’m a college student, and I usually like to work on my holiday breaks or weekends. I’m a little far from home during the week, but it’s not a bad drive, so I go home on weekends and have plenty of time to help with pets. Taking care of dogs is something I enjoy, so fitting it into my schedule feels easy and natural for me I take care of pets by keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. In a client’s home, I follow the schedule you already have in place for feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and relaxed by giving them plenty of attention and keeping an eye on their behavior and needs. I always keep things clean, stay respectful of your home, and update you with pictures and messages so you know your pet is doing great. I focus on making every dog feel cared for and treated the same way they’re treated by their own family.

If I had to describe John in one word, it would be “amazing.” We are new to Dallas and needed someone to walk our two dogs on very short notice, and John was kind enough to step in and help. Our dogs are not difficult, but they definitely have their own personalities. One is a 120 lb German Shepherd who loves chasing squirrels (and climb trees to meet their families), rabbits, and sometimes even butterflies, and he also thinks he needs to make friends with every dog he sees. Our other one is an 18 lb Shih Tzu who is a little pampered and does not like walking in the sun. What really stood out to us was how patient, caring, and thoughtful John was with both of them. During the first couple of days, when our Shih Tzu decided he was done walking after finishing his business, John actually picked him up and carried him while continuing the walk because our German Shepherd still wanted more time outside. For the last few days, he even walked them separately so each of them could get the individual attention they needed. That level of care says a lot about John. He was always on time, courteous, respectful, responsible, and genuinely loving toward our dogs. We are very thankful for his help and would definitely look forward to having him take care of our boys again in the future.

About: When it comes to dog sitting, I am very attentive watching dogs. I love dogs and have been around them my entire life. I know when they are excited, hungry, or even a little bit grumpy. I have watched different breeds from retrievers to pitbulls. I know how to take care of them and make them feel loved and cared for. Can’t wait to dog sit your furry friend! :) Pet care fits well into my routine because I have a consistent schedule and enjoy spending time with animals. I make time each day to provide reliable, attentive care and keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable. I provide personalized pet care in my clients’ homes through dependable drop-in visits, ensuring their pets receive attention, care, exercise, and companionship while they’re away. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I do not offer overnight stays because I want to continue providing the same level of care and attention to my own dog at home. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind.

My goal is to provide a loving environment where dogs can thrive, whether they are staying in their own home or in mine. If you want something that helps you stand out, you could add: As a teacher, patience, consistency, and attentiveness come naturally to me. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves individualized care, clear communication, and lots of positive attention. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine right now because I am on summer break from teaching and have a flexible schedule. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and affection. About: I’m a mom and a wife! My husband and daughter stay at home. If your pet is okay with family vibes we would be a perfect fit! Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals of all kinds—cows, goats, chickens, dogs, and more. Caring for them wasn’t just a chore; it was a way of life. Because of that, taking care of pets comes naturally to me. Whether it’s feeding, grooming, or just giving them the love and attention they need, I instinctively know how to handle animals with patience and care. Beyond basic pet sitting, I have experience training puppies, caring for senior pets, and handling animals with special needs. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, a structured routine, or gentle care in their older years, I’m here to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We don’t do big dogs for boarding we focus on 0-15 lbs or something close. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s my main job and my passion. Since I grew up on a farm caring for animals every day, looking after pets feels like second nature to me. Now, as a professional pet sitter, my daily and weekly routine revolves around making sure every pet I care for is happy, healthy, and well looked after. From morning walks and feeding schedules to playtime, training, and even senior pet care, I tailor my days to fit each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s a midday check-in, an overnight stay, or specialized care, I’m fully dedicated to giving pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away.

About: “I have volunteered at many dog shelters throughout my life, walking, feeding and playing with them. When I was 16 I started dog sitting for my neighbor and also worked at a ranch where they bred australian shepherds and had to feed, walk and help with the puppies. Animals are a huge part of my life and my dogs are my top priority. I currently volunteer at SPCA in Dallas, as well as caring for my own dogs. I love caring for animals and am grateful I have the ability to help others care for their pets! I currently live in an apartment with a high energy Australian Shepherd. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity, especially during the hotter months where being outside for long periods can be tricky. I am also familiar with caring for/walking senior dogs.

Grace went above and beyond. Our big guy Loki is very shy and we weren't sure if she would even be able to get him on a leash but she had no issues and he even let her pet him! Our pets love Cenite! She takes wonderful care of them and goes above and beyond each time. She is super great with our younger pup’s bathroom breaks and walks. Our older kitty is normally picky about who he hangs out with but loves hanging with Cenite. She leaves our place cleaner than we left it and sends so many pictures and updates. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
