My puppy Kana recovered from her illness thanks to the sitters. The day before I had to leave for a week-long work event in DFW from Austin, Kana ended up in the emergency room. She was very sick with what was believed to be a contagious illness, and the ER sent us home with medications and a strict treatment plan. I had already arranged boarding, but every boarding facility canceled because they couldn't accept a dog with a potentially contagious illness which is completely understandable. For the next 12 hours, I was desperately messaging Rover sitters, trying to find someone who would be willing to care for her. I received so many rejections that I was on the verge of canceling my work trip entirely. Then these kind ladies came along. In less than 10 minutes, they accepted my request without hesitation. From our first conversation, it was obvious they had experience caring for sick dogs, and that gave me an incredible sense of relief. Instead of making me feel like Kana was "too much," they reassured me that they would do everything they could to help her. Because of them, I was actually able to attend my work event. If they hadn't stepped in when they did, I would have had to miss it. While kana stayed with them, they followed every medication and care instruction from the emergency vet. They sent me frequent updates, photos, and videos, which made all the difference. Knowing she was in such capable hands allowed me to focus on work instead of constantly worrying. Kana came home happy, healthy, and clean. They bathed her before I picked her up. Entrusting someone with a puppy who had been in the ER just the day before is on a completely different level. Our puppy Luna had a great time! They made sure to keep me updated on how she was doing every day, through pictures and videos. You can tell they care about each dog that stays with them. Also, they were always so quick responding to any message and flexible when I had to change pick up/drop off times. We will be bringing Luna again, for sure!

Kristi and her family kept my anxious husky mix over the winter storm and I could not have asked for a better experience. I would so much rather know my baby is kept company and given attention in a warm home than a traditional boarding where they’re left alone. She has a very sweet golden mic who matched Nova’s silly energy and they were chasing each other around the coffee table right away, so I knew she was going to enjoy herself right away.
