“Andree was awesome! She and Sadie became instant BFFs. Each time she checked in on her, she took two long walks, giving her time to sniff, explore, and meet new people. She also gave her cuddle and play time with plenty of belly rubs. I was a bit anxious at first because Sadie is only 3 months old and we were staying at a hotel while I was at a conference. I wasn't sure how things would work out. But after one visit from Andree, all of my concerns were put to rest. I will definitely book her again should we ever find ourselves staying in the Dallaso-Ft. Worth area again. Thanks a million, Andree! Judi and Sadie”

“Regan was great! It was my first time using Rover and I booked 2 drop in visits with my dog during the day. Regan was super communicative and sent me pics from each visit.”

“Unapol took excellent care of my senior special needs pup while I was out of town for a family event :) I received regular updates and pictures and my dog was very comfortable with them. I highly recommend them to anyone!”

“Thank you for looking after Zyla! I caught her reaction to having you come in and I’m almost worried she likes you more than me now. She clearly felt very happy & comfortable to see you, so for that, I appreciate you.”

“I cannot recommend Winta enough, she was caring, funny and absolutely incredible. 1000% will be using her AGAIN and AGAIN for any and all of my pet needs. From the moment she first met Bmo her energy and caring with him blew me away. If you are considering her vs anybody else book her, you will be so glad you did. She sent me daily pictures and even some videos along with detailed messages of how he was acting and what he ate that day with her. I have never felt so reassured that my baby was being taken care of and loved as if I was with him. Seriously BOOK her!!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars on here because she truly did go above and beyond and made my time away so carefree and easy. Thank you again Winta.”

“John did a great job. He look after our cat for 5 days. My cat was happy with him. Food bowls were filled, water fountain was clean and litter was also clean. I will be glad to book him again.”

“Yuting is AMAZING!! Accommodated my booking last minute, and took great care of my puppy. Yuting is very good at communicating and is detail-oriented. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Haylee was amazing with Fable and took the time to stop by to get to know her and to get familiar with the house and her needs. Excellent sitter, highly recommended! Thank you so much Haylee”

“Valeria gave great photos of my animals and spent quality time with them. I could tell my dog warmed up to her quickly and appreciated her patience and joy for caring for animals!”

About: I am fully retired and dogsitting is my only job. Therefore no distractions and your dog will get my full attention. You also get three pairs of eyes. I’m a mom and a wife! My husband and daughter stay at home. If your pet is okay with family vibes we would be a perfect fit! Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by animals of all kinds—cows, goats, chickens, dogs, and more. Caring for them wasn’t just a chore; it was a way of life. Because of that, taking care of pets comes naturally to me. Whether it’s feeding, grooming, or just giving them the love and attention they need, I instinctively know how to handle animals with patience and care. Beyond basic pet sitting, I have experience training puppies, caring for senior pets, and handling animals with special needs. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, a structured routine, or gentle care in their older years, I’m here to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for. We don’t do big dogs for boarding we focus on 0-15 lbs or something close. Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s my main job and my passion. Since I grew up on a farm caring for animals every day, looking after pets feels like second nature to me. Now, as a professional pet sitter, my daily and weekly routine revolves around making sure every pet I care for is happy, healthy, and well looked after. From morning walks and feeding schedules to playtime, training, and even senior pet care, I tailor my days to fit each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s a midday check-in, an overnight stay, or specialized care, I’m fully dedicated to giving pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away.

About: I live in a community where a few of my neighbors will call me to drop by and walk/feed their dogs if they have to stay late at work or have other commitments. I also have friends and family that reach out to me with any help they might need with their babies. I currently work a flexible part-time job, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets! I am available most days at anytime, and I do same day appointments. While I am doing in home visits, I will follow any instructions that you leave for me on how to properly care for your pet(s).
About: I have been watching animals for years. I am active and love to bring dogs to the park to burn off energy. A tired dog is a good dog! I have cared for puppies and for elderly-dogs, so I can manage pretty much anything. Animals love me and I am loving/responsible with them. My parents and brother don't like leaving town unless their dogs are with me! I can offer walks, meds if they need, feeding, love, the dog park, etc! My weekends are totally open so I am able to provide house sitting and drop in visits at any time. I am very active so if your animal is in need of some activity, I will be their best friend! I have no dogs because I am not ready to care full time for my own yet. However, I take care of my parent's dogs and my brother's all the time. They are extremely needy breeds, so I know the kind of attention pets require. I am missing having furry friends around all the time (since moving out). I also own a kitty kat of my own ♥️ I am able to give medicine, take them on walks, offer boarding, feed them. Whatever is needed!
“Leslie was amazing! She took good care of my senior dogs and the stray cat we fed. She asked questions, sent pictures, and was a great communicator! I appreciate her help in such short notice!”

About: I have had a pet ever since I can remember! I can walk, pet sit, or anything that your furry friend might need. I also speak Spanish! I recently graduated from college and moved to the area for a new job. I’m available during nights and weekends to help you and your furry family members! I will make sure that your pet is taken care of - there is no task too small or too big! Safety always comes first, then the fun!

Valeria is amazing! After my original plan for my cat to be watched went south at the very last minute, Valeria came to my rescue! The same day I booked, she was able to come and do a site visit to see my space and to see my Romy! Each day she checked in on time and made sure my baby girl was okay. Valeria really helped put my mind at ease knowing my baby was home alone for 5 days. Thank you so much! I will absolutely use Valeria again!!!

Lauren was absolutely amazing with my cats! She went above and beyond in every way and made being away from them so much less stressful. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. My cats were so comfortable with her, and I came home to very happy kitties. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful cat sitter!

Mikayla did an amazing job cat sitting for us over our two week vacation. She provided really fun updates and photos over the two weeks and put us at ease that our cat was getting attention (and treats)! Everything went extremely smoothly, would highly recommend.

Robin seems to be very knowledgeable about cats. My cat, Hana, is extremely shy and timid, but by the second day of Robin’s visits, she was already showing her belly to her which made me surprise!!😮 I truly appreciated her care. I will definitely request her again next time. Thank you so much, Robin!

Ariana gave made me feel so comfortable with her love for cats. She brought a wrapped Christmas present for my little guy and sent me a video of him opening and enjoying a little treat. She is very sweet and kind person, 100% will be booking with her if I ever need a rover again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
