About: Ever since I was a child, I have grown up around dogs. Our childhood house was always the house where dogs were always welcome. Fast forward to my own house, own pups, and it’s the same hospitality. Our house is the ultimate doggy day care and hotel with a yard, doggy door (for those smarter pups), and local park to walk and play at. Safety is a top priority for my pup, and those I watch. I treat every dog like my own and know our precious babies are irreplaceable. PS, I’m the guy who plays dog tv for Ari, my golden retriever. Currently work from home with my wife. Plenty of free time to walk, fetch and snuggle. I live near the airport so we are an easy drop off for travelers. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood. We have a fenced yard with a tall fence. We have dog sat dogs of all sizes and tempers and have a good sense of social skills and situations. We have hosted up to 5 dogs in our house at once and know to separate social time from rest time.
“Tainara is wonderful with my dog. She is very flexible with pickup and drop-off times. Tainara always attaches pictures from each day. She loves the dogs like her own. Great communication. Would highly recommend Tainara.”

About: Familiar with training dogs. Sit, laydown, hyper jumping, and recall all things i can help address. If you need your dog to be calm while at a restaurant or walking Katy trail i can help with the socialization. I have an active life but most things are dog friendly and i will take my non aggressive lab who plays well with Tiny or bigger dogs. I constantly have training treats with me, let me know if your dog has any allergies. Work from home most days, so if needing extra training time please request Saturday or Sundays I like distractions when it comes to work, so pulling away and giving your pup attention and cuddles sounds like the perfect work day for me. Unless told otherwise, pets are allowed on furniture and bed. My dog has a kennel she sometimes goes into on her own, but it’s never locked. She cuddles for awhile on the bed, then heads to the couch next to my bed for her own space.
“Susan took great care of Mina and Katana. This is the 2nd time Susan has cared for the girls and we will definitely be going back. Susan kept me updated throughout the day, made sure the girls were fed on schedule, and allowed them to play with her other dogs. Thank you again Susan for all your help and kindness.”

About: I love all animals and have a passion for caring for them. I have been trusted to care for many types of animals and I always make sure treat each one as if they were my own because I now they are a cherished member of someone's family. I have experience with puppies, potty training, administering medications and caring senior animals. I work from home so I am able to give around the clock attention when caring for animals and accommodate specific pet routines with my schedule. I have a 2-story townhome with small gated backyard that leads to our community walking path. I also have 2 playful dogs that can be separated if needed. I also have a husband and 2 children with the same love of animals as me.

“Christy was amazing! Throughout the day she sent me updates and picture of her day with Groot. She answered any questions or concerns I had which was very comforting. She even drew a portrait of Groot which I loved so much. I highly recommend Christy!”

“Melky took great care of my puppy. It was the first time I left him and Melky was sure to send pictures daily. When my pup returned he smelled good and was a more well behaved doggie.”

About: What truly sets me apart from other sitters is the level of care, patience, and attention I bring to every pet I look after. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already structure my time around consistency and responsibility. I plan my mornings and evenings to include feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets both physical activity and personal attention. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment with plenty of space, supervision, and affection. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible while providing regular meals, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise.

“These guys are the best. Bella has such a great time! All the updates and personal care provided was top notch. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone needing a sitter.”

“Julie was extremely accommodating when I needed someone last-minute for daycare. Toki seemed to really enjoy her time there, and even ended up going back the next day!”

“Victoria showered our 5 month old puppy with so much love and attention that I had to book her again! She communicated well, was reliable and genuinely loving towards my puppy. She was very accommodating and flexible with my schedule. I would recommend her!”

“She’s the best. She kept me informed almost every hour. She is kind generous and so sweet with my dog!!!!!!!!! And thank you for accepting the last minute update 🥹”

“Jane is the sweetest and most attentive sitter! I feel so comfortable dropping our puppy off with her! My puppy is always SO excited when we pull up to her house which makes me happy.”

“Shivangi and Vamsi are true dog lovers. A very warm couple to make your pup feel home. They were very responsive and also shared Gabbar’s pictures every 2 hrs during the day. We used them for Daycare and would not think twice to use them again in future even if we need to board our dog for a few days. Our puppy feels like home with them and is excited to get there every morning. Great experience!”

About: What sets me apart is the amount of real experience I’ve had taking care of my family’s dogs over the years. I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and sizes, so I’m very comfortable adjusting to whatever a dog needs. Puppies, big energetic dogs, seniors who need a slower pace , none of it is a hassle for me. I’m patient, responsible, and used to handling different routines and personalities. I really enjoy making dogs feel safe, cared for, and understood, and I always treat them the same way I’d treat my own. Pet care fits into my routine really well. I’m a college student, and I usually like to work on my holiday breaks or weekends. I’m a little far from home during the week, but it’s not a bad drive, so I go home on weekends and have plenty of time to help with pets. Taking care of dogs is something I enjoy, so fitting it into my schedule feels easy and natural for me I take care of pets by keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. In a client’s home, I follow the schedule you already have in place for feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and relaxed by giving them plenty of attention and keeping an eye on their behavior and needs. I always keep things clean, stay respectful of your home, and update you with pictures and messages so you know your pet is doing great. I focus on making every dog feel cared for and treated the same way they’re treated by their own family.

Michael has been awesome with my dog. He is easy to communicate with to arrange drop off and pick up times. I get lots of picture and videos of my pup throughout the day.. it’s obvious she has a lot of fun playing with his dogs and she feels comfortable in his home.

We left our husky here for a day, and the experience was wonderful! The whole family treated him with so much love and care, and it was clear he felt safe and happy. Leaving your pet behind is never easy, but they made us feel completely at ease. Highly recommend hunter to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet daycare! 🐾💙. Now i am confident that even I leave my fur baby with them for a week, I can be at ease without any constant worries.

They treat my Forrest like their own! Even in the snow storm they’re outside playing and making sure he’s all tired for mom when she comes home from work. I send him twice a week and he loves it every time! They’ve been so communicative and send lots of pictures and even take Forrest for long walks/runs. Truly the best sitters ever!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
