“Raven is the best! It was our first time leaving our pug with a sitter and she went above and beyond taking care of her. Before leaving our dog with her she took detailed notes on her routine and how to take care of her. She sent pictures throughout the day while she was with her and updated me on how she’s doing. Raven is very attentive and caring. I’m looking forward to having her watch our dog again!”

“This was my 2nd time to board Newman with Kelli, and just like the first time it was a great experience. Newman seems happy and comfortable going over there, and Kelli is very responsive and sends pics.”

“I cannot express the utmost gratitude I have for Lilivette! I am often worrisome when I leave my Chuckie when I go on vacation but from beginning to end, Lilivette has made the process so very smoothe. She met with me ahead of time with her dog to ensure they met and were friendly. She was very communicative about her picking up Chuckie from daycare and gave constant updates which relieved a lot of my anxiety. But I want to mainly mention that she was beyond accommodating for when I had to pick up Chuckie. She understood that I was traveling and was going to be tired the next day and she was so considerate about picking him up later in the evening so I can decompress from my long trip back home. Again, I cannot express how grateful I am for Lilivette and her family for allowing Chuckie to stay and feel so welcomed!! Everyone got along so well and I think Chuckie made a new best friend with her dog! I would definitely be using Lilivette again for any of trips where I may have to leave Chuckie!!! if I could give more stars I would!!!!!”

“Such a good experience! My pup had so much fun with Melinda and Craig as well as all of the other pups in their home! We felt assured on our weekend trip knowing that our boy was well taken care of. Thank you!”

“Jane took great care of Cheddar during the 4th of July, though he gets anxious during fireworks! She was open to any instructions/medications that help calm him down, and I found him in great health when I received him. Not the first time I use Jane’s services, and not the last.”

“Gigi had a wonderful stay! I could tell she was well cared for and comfortable the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Gigi came home happy, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you for taking such great care of her!”

“I had a great experience with our dog sitter, Shawndreal, while she cared for Denver. She kept me updated throughout his stay with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that he was having a great time, and he looked so happy playing with the other dogs. She also shared helpful insights about his behavior. One thing she noted was that he tends to mount other dogs, which is something we’re actively working on, so we really appreciated her honest and constructive feedback. What meant the most to us was hearing that Denver followed her around during his stay, as it really felt like he trusted her and was comfortable in her care. That says a lot. Overall, we’re very happy with the experience. She took wonderful care of him, and we would absolutely book with her again!”

“Glenda was amazing with our pup. She sent regular updates and photos of her, followed all of our guidelines perfectly, and was very comforting. We could also tell how loving she was with our dog and how much she loved Glenda. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely book with her again!”

“Jocelyn was hands down the best Rover experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I met her, I could immediately feel the warmth and care she would provide for my dog. She sent daily pictures and activity updates, and the level of attention and love she gave him went far above and beyond. My dog came home so happy — I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”
“Megan is amazing! This was my first time ever leaving my dog, Finn, with anyone besides family before and he had a great time! Megan kept me updated each day and sent the most adorable photos and videos!!! I felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands!!! Megan is wonderful & highly recommend 😊”

“Charley took excellent care of our dogs for 2.5 weeks! Communication was fantastic and we can tell they were well loved and cared for. We would absolutely use Charley again!”

“Zachary was wonderful. He really does love pets and it is obvious that he enjoys taking care of animals. He was very prompt responding to my request and did a fantastic job watching my dog. Zachary sent me pictures and updates regularly and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with him. I will definitely be rebooking again.”

“Cooper had an amazing stay with Annie! She sent pictures and videos multiple times a day and was very nice. Will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“i am SO picky when it comes to leaving my rescue dog with anyone. I had searched for weeks for someone I trust and continued to come up empty handed. I had just about given up and was prepared to cancel travel plans to avoid leaving Scooby at a boarding place until I connected with Ashley. She is one of the best sitters I have ever had & was so kind & reassuring the whole time I was away. I got regular updates on how he was doing and she really went out of her way to work with Scooby since he is a very anxious boy and takes a while to warm up to people. Would not trust anyone else in dallas to watch Scooby other than Ashley. Can’t recommend her enough!!!”

“Paul took outstanding care of our dog, Luka, for a week over Thanksgiving, and we are extremely grateful we found him. Paul was extremely responsive and communicative and made us feel confident that our dog was in great hands. Thank you, Paul!”

“Malisa was reliable, communicative, and made the whole experience stress-free. I really appreciated the updates and photos while I was away. It was obvious Molly was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Malisa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Marquette was the absolute best! I needed help taking care of my dog last minute and Marquette asked all the right questions before booking to make sure she understood my dogs needs and best way to take care. During the stay, she sent multiple pictures and videos (including slomo shots) and provided updates from neighborhood walks and her observations of Rumi as she explored new environments. All the updates helped me feel at ease. Will definitely be rebooking with her. I highly recommend booking Marquette!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we will use Lu every time! She kept us updated the whole time and we felt so comfortable knowing our Millie was being taken care of. 100% recommend!!”

Kelli was so wonderful. This was such a relief to find someone so reliable. She sent pictures and provided updates every day during my lengthy trip. I definitely enjoyed my trip more knowing that my Cassie was having a really fun time. Her dog is very, very sweet and it seemed like my dog and her dog played together nicely. I really think it was better having her sweet dog around for the dogs to play together. Her home is very pet friendly and she has a large fenced backyard that my dog loved running around in.

Carl and Laufey were simply outstanding. I have a senior dog who has special needs and can be challenging to care for. He no longer does well with other dogs around so I very much appreciate that Carl and Laufey care for just one dog at a time. I loved that they came to pick him up and clearly discussed with me how they would care for Max and communicate with me. As promised, I received daily photographs and reports of his eating, drinking and potty habits. Carl and Laufey gave Max a great deal of personal attention and cared for him with great enthusiasm and sensitivity. I will not hesitate to ask them to care for Max again. Thank you!
Jocelyn took such great care of my girl Bella! She sent multiple updates and videos throughout the entire stay. Pick up and drop off were very smooth and I felt extremely comfortable leaving Bella with her. She also worked with me when I had issues with travel delays. Highly recommend this sitter!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received! especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication, which gave peace of mind throughout the stay. It was obvious that our dogs were treated like family and their individual needs were genuinely cared for. I came home to two happy, healthy pups, and we are incredibly grateful for the excellent care provided. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and caring dog watcher!

Couldn’t have asked for more. Jeffrey took great care of our dogs and gave us regular updates. He’s very easy to work with, and I felt at ease knowing he was taking care of them. I’d happily recommend him to anyone, and he’ll be my first call any time we need someone to watch our dogs.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
