Happy Campers 24/7 CarePlano, TX

If the thought of leaving your best friend in a kennel while you vacation is enough to make you cancel your plans, welcome! You're our kind of people! We strive to make our home the next best thing to being home for your dog.

We offer all the comforts our own dogs enjoy - full house privileges, plump furniture and beds, and most importantly, lots of love and attention. A stay at Happy Campers is a social event. They will run, play, hang-out, sleep with other dogs all day and night! Your dog will get to enjoy all their primal instincts of hanging with the pack!

Dogs need physical exercise to assure their health and happiness. Physical activity and socialization help to create balanced dogs by taking away excess energy, boredom, frustration, and unwanted behavior. At Happy Campers your pet can run, play, explore, & relax with full run of the secured house yard and pool.

All of a dog's needs are met and they couldn’t be happier and content! All doggies will enjoy a cage-free environment, unless otherwise requested by pet parents. Dogs have all day fully supervised access to the back yard and swimming pool. They are free to come and go inside and out anytime to play, relax and more, taking full advantage of their Doggie Vacation time. Everyone here is 'spoiled' and we think that's the way it should be.

Don’t worry, your dog will be closely monitored to assure the activity level is comfortable and joyous! Your dog will go home tired and you’ll get to enjoy your relaxed dog with all the day’s pent up energy released! Drop your dog off before work, going on a shopping or day trip, or just for the fun of it!

If you have a “high energy” dog then without question, this is for you! These dogs especially need to be drained of all that excess energy, otherwise it may lead to unwanted behavior like chewing, destruction, and constant barking. Let us get rid of that pent-up energy for you!

If you have a “puppy”, then great! Socialization is especially important for your pup! It is very important that puppies learn proper dog play/manners and the best teacher is other dogs. Adult dogs give subtle lessons that most of us never even know are happening, but your pup is learning. Dogs are amazing!

If you have a “slower” dog, that’s great too! Slower or older dogs do great at Happy Campers too, they can take their time and explore without being bothered by other dogs!

Last minute bookings are welcome and always accommodated. Leave your Pets for a few hours or few weeks in full confidence and without worry. Pick up and drop off times are 100% flexible. I want you to leave your loved one in my care knowing that you can look forward to seeing their smiling faces upon your return. Forget the worry and stress of strict and expensive pick up times. We only allow a very small group of doggies so yours will always have lots of 1 on 1 time with us and all the playtime / lazy time they want.

This is my full-time passion and happy to say my full-time job as well.

I have a great split level open floor plan home with lots of dog pillows and space to run around crazy or enjoy a lazy day. I've been fostering and rescuing dogs for many years, allowing me to gain a great deal of experience with all types of dog personalities and those with special needs. For those that like to get out and stretch their legs or need to spend some excess energy there is great park/walking path less than a block from our house. Our neighborhood in Plano is very quiet and 90% of the neighbors are dog owners and lovers. They are top notch pet parents with well behaved and always leashed dogs. Our neighborhood is 50/50 retirees and young families. We have made the entire house extremely dog friendly with couches, pillows and beds to lounge on. Lot's of windows to let in the sun and let your dog enjoy the view. There is also plenty of rooms if your pups like to get away and chill out for a while.

My ultimate goal is to provide outstanding care for your pet(s) by keeping their routines while staying here just as in your own home. Keep your mind at ease, enjoy your vacation or be worry free at work knowing that they are being taking care of like they were part of our family. They will have free run of the house but we always enforce YOUR rules that you have trained them at home, i.e. no getting on couches, etc. We will even help continue any training that you are currently working on including potty training. We don't use crates unless you request them for your dogs needs, either for sleep or crate / potty training.

We are trained and able to administer any medications sub, inter and oral. Provide extra care with dietary needs and any other quirks. We strive to treat your pet family the same way you treat them at your home routine, sleep eating schedule, training, and exercise. We use a detailed checklist that we keep on file that includes emergency contacts, vet info, etc. We've had almost every breed of dog in our home and all are welcome! All guests are closely supervised and separated at feeding time in a friendly and non-pressured environment to help avoid food aggression and food thieves. Each dog gets a bin or bag to them where we store their toys, leashes, food and any other personal belongings, each item is labeled with the family name as well.

As you can see in the pictures, the dogs really enjoy the back yard and lower level living area in front of the fireplace on the floor, couch or pillows. They really get to enjoy themselves playing and of course the all-important naps anytime they like here. It's a true vacation for them. All dogs are always welcome to swim or stand in the pool to cool off. I always give them a good rinse and the best towel dry/doggie massage

You will receive regular updates and photos of their adventures during their stay via the Rover app/website.

All dogs must be current on their vaccines, please include a copy at drop off. Please be sure that all special instructions, vet info, emergency contacts, etc are up to date on your Rover online profile.

Our property is treated every 21 days with an all-natural, pet and human safe compound that kills all biting bugs including fleas, ticks and mosquitos and creates a barrier around the perimeter to help minimize any chances of bug bites. It is still recommended that your doggie be on some type of flea, tick and mosquito treatment.

WHAT TO BRING:

*Food and treats

*Medicine in original containers with dispensing instructions.

*Chew toys (Antlers or Kongs) that don’t pose a danger to your dog when unattended. (optional)

Let your dog meet Prince Charming!Northeast Dallas, Dallas, TX

We know how hard it can be to find the right someone to care for our furry family members when we have to be gone, so we've decided to share our home and hospitality here on Rover. We truly love all the different dog personalities we get to experience, so we admit it's for our own enjoyment, too. ;)

We live in a nice, quiet neighborhood, have plenty of room for your dog to sprawl on the sofa or go for a walk, and Jenny is working from home these days so your dog will get lavished with attention during his or her stay.

Give us a shout and let us know how we can help while you're away. We always send pictures and little updates throughout the day so you know all is well ... we understand how important it is to know your canine is being treated like family!

About this sitter:

Our dogs and family members couldn't be more different: Prince Charming and Matt are low-key and easy-going, Violet and Jenny are higher-energy and always attached at the hip. The mix of personalities is perfect for your pet's stay because they can hang out with whomever they feel most comfortable.

We have a comfortable home, yard, and an assortment of dog walkers (aka teenage daughters) ranging from energetic to ambling.

We want you and your pet to feel good about time they have to spend away from you. Let us know if we can help!

Why I love dog sitting:

We've both had dogs as part of our families since childhood. Our home would seem empty without canine company! Besides, we wouldn’t want ours to stay in a kennel and think they were back at the rescue and suddenly unloved; we don’t want yours to feel that way, either!

About my yard:

We recently added an art studio to our privacy-fenced back yard, so there's a little less space than there used to be (but now it's full shade). There's still plenty of room to chase the squirrels, and the general feeling of “it’s practically a dog park” means we’ll play and sunbathe and have a great time.

My experience administering medication:

With owner's pre-stay training so we know their preferences and best practices, we’ll gladly give pills, slather ointments, put in eye drops, and do pretty much anything but give shots. We’ve cared for blind dogs, deaf dogs, blind AND deaf dogs, dogs whose back legs don’t work and need to be helped everywhere using in a sling, and even fed “diva” dogs from a spoon. We’ve got this. ;)

Auntie Satomi'sLewisville, TX

I've been dog sitting for my co-workers since 2008 and they call my place auntie Satomi's. They suggested extending the service to other busy professionals and families.

I do not have a certain drop-off/pick up time frame as I understand the travel schedule is not 9-5. Please make an appointment before your visit so that I can schedule my day around your travel schedule. I can give medicines including insulin shots.

My service includes text/email photos and videos. I have an iPhone and can also FaceTime.

I prefer to watch dogs at my house but I can do check-ins and overnight stay depending on my schedule. House visits include watering plants and checking mails and packages.

I also have experience with cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and birds.

Experienced and positive pet sitterNortheast Dallas, Dallas, TX

My home in East Dallas is set up for dogs to have fun! I have a pool, a big yard, and "dog-friendly" furniture. I have toys, dog-puzzles, and chickens to watch!

I have some training experience and can reinforce appropriate behaviors while discouraging negative behaviors. I only utilize positive reinforcement while training.

My home is set up to be a comfortable place for dogs to stay, and there are great walking trails just around the corner!

While here, there are several dog parks we can go to (if your dog is a dog-park kind of dog) and the Katy and Santa Fe Trails are close by! Most of the time, our backyard provides enough room to play and have a great time with other dogs. For dogs who prefer to be outside in a space without a pool, we do have an outside dog run with no access to the pool. We are extremely cautious about pool safety, and the pool is fully fenced.

My teenage son has been raised with dogs and is very comfortable with them-although their care will come from me.

Your dog will have plenty of fun while you are away! We have private rooms available upstairs, or downstairs options as well including any combination of kennel/liberty that works for you and your dog.

We prefer that your dog wear a collar with an ID tag on it, and we insist that dogs are current on flea/HW protection. When packing for your dog, feel free to bring any items that you feel will make your dog more comfortable and "at home" (a T-shirt you slept in the night before, beds, toys, treats, etc., but we do provide sanitized bowls, bedding, and toys. Please let us know if your dog has a sensitive stomach, as we sometimes offer peanut butter filled kong toys, or bully sticks to dogs. We never provide any treats with sugar, soy, corn, or wheat. We also only allow food and treats when dogs are separated. There is never an opportunity to gain access to another dog's food or treats, nor is there an opportunity to squabble over whose toy/treat is whose!

If you need to drop your dog off before 6 am M-F, or before 8 am on weekends or holidays, I can be flexible, but there will be a charge of $25.00 for early drop off. You are encouraged to book the night before to make it less rushed for you and your dog. I am home almost every evening, but I have choir practice on Monday evenings (one of my sons will be home then). For pick-up times, I am more flexible on F and S, but I prefer to have pick up completed by 10 pm S-Th. Let me know if you are running late, and we will make a plan.

I offer a discount for more than one dog in a family, but generally do not offer discounts during the holidays. Please contact me with any questions regarding my rates.

I have worked with dogs for over 30 years and I have worked with dogs who have special needs as well. I have experience caring for deaf dogs, as well as geriatric dogs or dogs with chronic illness.

I have done obedience training with my own dogs, and I only interact positively with dogs.

I have crates in every size to accommodate you if your dog needs one, but they do not have to stay in a crate, although they may eat their meal in a crate if they are sharing a space. We can discuss those details when we do a meet-and-greet.

I look forward to meeting you and your dogs! I am frequently booked far in advance, but please do reach out to me with your travel plans, even if it appears that I am unavailable. People change plans and I can often accommodate you, even if the calendar appears to be booked up.

Will love and care for your pet!Sachse, TX

I'm a stay at home mom and wife. I have three children, two dogs and two cats. Being a stay at home mom has allowed me the ability to give lots of love and attention to my family. I have always had a compassion when it comes to animals and I know how it feels to leave a pet at home alone or at a kennel. That's why I have opened my home to those who need a honest and caring pet sitter. I have at least 20 years experience loving and caring for not only my own pets but families, friends, and clients pets. My children also share my love for pets and their needs. You can rest easy knowing your pets will receive the best care while you're on your business trip or vacation. I'm also very flexible, so dont hesitate to contact me at the last moment should a personal emergency arise.

For those that know and those that do not, we HAVE MOVED!

Because of the growth of our current clients and our pet boarding, we needed more space and it is because of you that we have purchased a home with loads of space and yard! We also have a pool in the back so that we will be offering training for our puppies and water dogs, a place to safely learn to swim and play in the water!

We are 20 minutes away from our townhome in the Lower Greenville area and have moved to East Richardson. It is super quiet and very safe. I have installed a very awesome security system for the protection of the all our guests.

For our long time guests, we have the deepest gratitude because you made THIS HAPPEN!!!

I work from home so I have been able to be a host for foster dogs over 8 years. I have had multiple breeds, multiple ages and we have fun throughout the day. Now, being very close to 75 and 635 allows my home to be a wonderful drop off/ pick up area for anyone commuting to work. We will still go for great walks with a park nearby. I have one dog and he is a trainer for the fosters that come into the home. He is 7.5 years old, great dane/ black mouth cur mix.

*Let's talk about vaccinations and unaltered pups*

I require all dogs to be fully vaccinated and neutered or spayed for the following exceptions:

Puppies

Rescue Dogs

Because of our field of knowledge of handling puppies, we allow them to stay case by case. Puppies that are in the middle of vaccinations and waiting for them to grow before they have their surgery safely can stay with us when normally they aren't allowed in daycare or kennels.

Rescue dogs are handled cases by case as well.

I have a crate for those that are being crate trained, those that are free to sleep on the bed, on the couch... it is really up to your dog what is most comfortable!

Our top priority is safety first and that we meet the needs of your fur baby!
