Over a decade of working with numerous rescues and different families has been such an honor and absolute pleasure! We take total pride in caring for the families we have met over the years and would love to meet yours! Keeping to a sense of structure, complete supervision, and constant attention/affection is at the core of our stays. We're also big believers in communication, so you can always get a hold of us during any given stay. Daily updates, photos upon request and a written summary of how the day went to help your family feel at ease during any time away from your fur babies (unless otherwise instructed!) We are also extremely well versed in nail trimmings, and baths! What would help us during any given stay: - Written care instructions! - A typical schedule (potty times/feeding times, walking times etc!) - Directions on any medications, any allergies to know about! - Beds, bowls, toys, and maybe even something that smells like you! What we require of the families that we care for: We ask that you allow us to handle the pickup and drop off for your stay! We do NOT charge for pickups/dropoffs and we've found that this drastically reduces anxiety (we get to go for a car ride versus being dropped off and left) We can pickup as early as 5:00am and can drop off no later than 6:00pm **We have hundreds of referrals, photos, and videos of prior stays, our home etc. upon request! we are no longer able to accommodate in person meet and greets! Second time booking with Carl and Laufey, it was nothing but perfect once again. Constant communication and updates from pickup to drop-off, pictures and detailed feedback. They have made our trips and lives so much easier knowing our Sosa is in the best hands possible. They were extremely helpful with certain situations that arose, exactly what you would want in a caretaker. Super caring people who we trust and will continue to book with for any future stays.
My puppies stay with Carl was nothing short of amazing. It was the first time being away from my puppy and they made me feel comfortable and she had an amazing time with them! Highly recommend!
Carl and Laufey were simply outstanding. I have a senior dog who has special needs and can be challenging to care for. He no longer does well with other dogs around so I very much appreciate that Carl and Laufey care for just one dog at a time. I loved that they came to pick him up and clearly discussed with me how they would care for Max and communicate with me. As promised, I received daily photographs and reports of his eating, drinking and potty habits. Carl and Laufey gave Max a great deal of personal attention and cared for him with great enthusiasm and sensitivity. I will not hesitate to ask them to care for Max again. Thank you!
Literally the best dog sitting experience I have ever had! Everything was seamless from pick up/drop off to updates throughout the stay. Sage had a BLAST, was incredibly well cared for, and really loved her stay! Cannot recommend this couple enough for dog sitting.
I can’t express how grateful we are for Carl and Laufey- we moved and then had had a tripped planned and have 2 large dobermans. I am very skeptical trusting just anyone with the breed as you need to know how to handle them and not walk all over you. Add being in a new spot, moving, stress but the dogs did amazing and they were kept to their exact routine. We also got pictures and updates everyday which were perfect. We will absolutely use again.
We were overall pleased with the service provided of taking care of our sweet fur baby! There was an incident during our dog’s stay and they quickly resolved it. They were great at sending updates and pictures! We will be using their services again in the future.

Schedule
This is something that my wife and I do full-time, we fully supervise each and every stay, so there is NEVER a point in time where your pupper will be left alone/ left unsupervised!

We have a private, secure home in a great neighborhood with gated entry! We only work with one family at a time so each and every stay gets our full attention!
A typical day
Tug of war, walks, ball, big back yard that is securely fenced, car rides (if they already enjoy them) ,cuddling on the couch! we try to emulate their home experience as closely as possible!
