About: I’ve been around pets my entire life and have frequently cared for those of my friends and family members, including young pets. Coming from healthcare also gives me unique experience in caring for others and knowing how to manage health complications. My fiance and I have cared for his own cat who requires insulin for diabetes. I am a work from home professional with a log of flexibility within my schedule to support you. My fiance also has a hybrid role. I have experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am able to walk pets of all sizes and care for them inside the home, whether it is crated or outside a crate. I have also raised pets with access to a backyard and deep pool so am comfortable maintaining pet safety both indoors and outdoors. Being a dietitian, I am knowledgeable with nutrition and food when it comes to pets and humans if needed!

“Kyle came to pick up Flapjacks already prepared with treats for their walk. He was more than willing to use my clicker and provide treats to reinforce her training. He sent me lots of pictures of her on their walk and stopping to enjoy a stick. One half hour walk and she slept the rest of the afternoon and allowed me to work. I appreciated how friendly Kyle was and his willingness to continue my training with my pup on her walk. I would definitely recommend!”

Happy to provide additional housesitting services, like watering plants and bringing in the mail. Also available to do drop ins. About: Growing up on a farm, I was around all kinds of animals and helped care for them. I’ve raised cats on my own for 15 years and often help my friends with their cats and dogs when they are away from home. I work full-time but have the flexibility to work remotely and make my own schedule outside of a couple of days when I’m in the office. Most of the time, I’ll be unavailable on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Understanding that every pet is different, I like to learn more about the pet from the owner and have one-on-one time with the animal to make sure we’re both comfortable with each other. Our trust and safety is my number one priority.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - University Park
Thanks so much, Eboni, for taking such good care of Teddy. He loves being with you, and was always at the door with a happy tail wag waiting for you. I was very impressed at how you were able to manage him, given that he's a big guy (85 lbs, will be two in a few weeks) and very friendly with other dogs and children. I was not surprised when you told me you wanted to base your career on working with dogs. You're a natural, and I'm sure you'll be a great success in that field. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you!

Abbie is fantastic! I have two senior dogs, a German shepherd mix and a Chihuahua mix, both are challenging to walk and Abbie does a great job with both. The other day she helped me get one of my dogs to the vet who was feeling sick. Totally outside of what she is responsible for and I really appreciated the extra help.

Ashlyn was absolutely amazing with my dog! She was so sweet, reliable, and attentive to all of his needs. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such great hands. She kept me updated and made sure Benny was happy and well cared for the entire time. You can truly tell she loves animals! I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker/sitter!

- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
