About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood as owner but also the strays that come along! I have also volunteered at the animal shelter and adoption agency and not afraid of the pet duties that come with dogs and cats. I work full time remote Monday to Thursday. Available any time Friday to Sunday for this weekend trips that come up. Walks or dog sitting while working is not an issue for me or my employer. I do have one dog and one cat, but can crate pet if needed and have their own space & to fulfill their needs. Yard is not fully fenced so walks will be main source of outside time.
“I can’t recommend our dog walker enough! Adrian consistently went above and beyond every single visit. Not only was he always on time, but he also sent a text before arriving. What really stands out is the level of care he provides. He took extra time to clean our dog’s paws after walks, which is something we truly appreciate, especially on muddy or rainy days. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and treats them like his own.”

“We had Megan come in the morning for a walk and in the evening for a check-in. This is the fourth time we have used Megan. We have always been happy with how she handles Finley Magee. We highly recommend Megan, and we will continue to have Megan watch Finley. This was the longest we spent time away from Finley Magee. It was hard for us to leave your 4-legged baby and I know it would be hard for our pup too. Megan put us at ease with her detailed progress reports during each visit. Megan’s knowledge, flexibility, compassion, and patience is incredible. By day 3, Finley was jumping around and excited to see Megan. We are very fortunate to have Megan help us with Finely Magee!”

“Nicole was amazing with my 4 yr old dog Rosie. I'm so glad to have found her. Rosie is 80 lbs and can be nervous around other dogs so I was a little anxious about letting someone else walk her. I had nothing to fear, Nicole had a calm and capable approach and Rosie took to her easily! I'll definitely be booking with her again for both Rosie and my cats!”

“Maria was amazing to my baby Zuri. Before actually walking my dog, she came to do a meet and greet with her and my dog loved her so I knew it would be a good fit. Today she picked up Zuri and she fed her for me gave her some water and spent a lot of time with her outside playing with her and she even gave her a toy and trimmed some hair on her face for me. I really appreciate the effort that she put into care for my dog, especially because I work long hours so it’s really important to me that I have someone that can support me in raising my puppy. I will definitely be sticking with Maria from now on.”

“An amazing dog sitter! They were reliable, caring, and treated our dog like their own. I loved getting updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved them. I highly recommend!”

“Ashley was wonderful during her visit with our pups! Even though it was just one visit, she was punctual, professional, and made sure our dogs were well taken care of. She communicated clearly, often, and followed all instructions perfectly. Because of this, I was confident our pups were in excellent hands! We truly appreciated her help on such short notice and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a reliable and caring pet sitter. We’ll definitely book with her again!”

About: *If you would like me to do multiple 30 minute vists or walks, please book drops ins/walks. If you book house sitting please be aware it’s only one visit per day and I do not stay over night at a clients home* Hello, my name is Courtney and I’m your pets new best friend! I’ve always been told I have a “way” with animals and it has helped me create an understanding of them, their behavior and psychology. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a household with multiple dogs, cats and even exotics. The care and well being of animals is something I’ve been passionate about my entire life. In the future I’d like to go into the animal care or behavioral field so I’m trying to get as much experience in with as many different animals as possible! Special needs/seniors/etc are not a problem for me. I can guarantee that I will treat your dogs (or cats) with the same love and respect I show my own pack.
About: Retired so I'm able to devote plenty of 1-on-1 time to care, play, and snuggle with your precious family member as if they were my own furr babies. I've also had my own dogs, like Norwegian Elkhounds, Labs and various mutts, as well as, small ones like Maltese snuggle buddies. I've also had the privilege of cats adopting me (felines pick their humans 😆) and entrusting me to care for 6 of their adorable kittens. Since I'm retired and other then working out for 1 hr 3x week and grocery shopping 1x week, I integrate my personal life around your pet and can cater to how much time they need to feel comfortable and loved. If you require my services in your own home, I'm a pretty quiet, clean retired and responsible adult. If you need boarding at my home, i have a clean, large backyard with a protective 8 foot fence for plenty of exploring and other fun activities.
About: Though I do not own my own pets I have always been around dogs and have been a source for family members when they need their dog taken cared of. I’m currently a part-time worker at Anthropologie and I am taking summer classes, but I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule to meet any needs! I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages. In a client's home, I make sure their pet receives consistent care while keeping the home clean and secure. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel happy and cared for.
About: As long as I could remember, I have had a furry friend next to me. Dogs have always been my passion. Friends, family and neighbors rely on me to accommodate their pets. I really started taking care of dogs when I was eight and since then, I haven’t stopped. Walking them, feeding, or even giving belly scratches will always be part of my routine. If you and your furry friend have different rules y'all follow, don’t be afraid to let me know! I want to make sure you and your friend feel comfortable. I welcome anything and anyone! I’m currently working a part time job, so i’ll have time for anything as of right now! I am also a college student but I only go to school twice a week. My availability varies since my job call me in when needed. But I always make time for my pets and can make time for yours! Having a healthy environment around your and my own pets, will be my top priority. Having time and space will help everyone in the long run. It’s important for me to reassure them and keep them comfortable as possible. It can be playing catch with them, taking them on walks or giving them endless belly scratches.

“I am so thankful for Wesley! I injured my knee and haven’t been able to walk my dog. I could tell she was getting depressed. Then I found Wesley and he is really nice and so good with my dog. Now when Wesley comes to take her for a walk she is so happy and excited!! I am happy for her :) Thank you Wesley!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
