“Maria was amazing to my baby Zuri. Before actually walking my dog, she came to do a meet and greet with her and my dog loved her so I knew it would be a good fit. Today she picked up Zuri and she fed her for me gave her some water and spent a lot of time with her outside playing with her and she even gave her a toy and trimmed some hair on her face for me. I really appreciate the effort that she put into care for my dog, especially because I work long hours so it’s really important to me that I have someone that can support me in raising my puppy. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a household with multiple dogs, cats and even exotics. The care and well being of animals is something I’ve been passionate about my entire life. About: I've owned dogs all of my life, worked with K-9 units during my 12 years in the military and I am a P..TS.D. service dog handler. I am trained in canine C.P.R and work in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. I am able to administer oral and injected medications if need be. I am also able to provide care for special needs dogs and have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I don't believe that there is such a thing as a bad dog or bad breed. And I know, being a dog owner and a service dog handler, that most pet owners are like me....they're NOT pets....they're FAMILY. Retired military and now retiring from Emergency Veterinary Medicine, so I'm now available 24/7 for pet care, walks and pet sitting, check-ins and even just stopping by to help administer medications, fluids or treatments prescribed by your veterinarian. Animals thrive on love and attention just like people do. Interaction and activity are crucial to physical and mental health. The only difference between humans and animals is that they're covered in fur and we have opposable thumbs.

About: As long as I could remember, I have had a furry friend next to me. Dogs have always been my passion. Friends, family and neighbors rely on me to accommodate their pets. I really started taking care of dogs when I was eight and since then, I haven’t stopped. Walking them, feeding, or even giving belly scratches will always be part of my routine. I’m currently working a part time job, so i’ll have time for anything as of right now! I am also a college student but I only go to school twice a week. My availability varies since my job call me in when needed. But I always make time for my pets and can make time for yours! Having a healthy environment around your and my own pets, will be my top priority. Having time and space will help everyone in the long run. It’s important for me to reassure them and keep them comfortable as possible. It can be playing catch with them, taking them on walks or giving them endless belly scratches.

About: Though I do not own my own pets I have always been around dogs and have been a source for family members when they need their dog taken cared of. I’m currently a part-time worker at Anthropologie and I am taking summer classes, but I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule to meet any needs! I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages. In a client's home, I make sure their pet receives consistent care while keeping the home clean and secure. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel happy and cared for.
