I’ve chosen to take her off of a previous owners hands in these later stages of her life and take care of her as my own. I’ve done what I can to keep her with me as long as possible so I am even more meticulous because of that! I have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening as well as weekends. I can easily adjust to your pet’s routine and make sure they’re well cared for, comfortable, and not left alone for long periods as I am usually home. My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, and I make sure all pets are supervised and comfortable at all times. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I’m able to separate or crate pets if needed to ensure everyone stays safe and stress-free.

About: I’ve volunteered at a dog obedience training non-profit for 3 years and use my dog as a demonstration dog. My dog and I have a great bond and have received our AKC Canine Good Citizen, competed in UKC Nosework, and Barnhunt. We’re hoping to get our steps in together and alongside your pup. It would be a great social opportunity for your pup, even though K.Mo mainly looks for squirrels on walks. I work Monday-Friday, so I’m most available on weekends for dog walks and dog training. I work from home Monday, Thursday, and Friday, so I am able to provide daycare on these days. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog at home to keep your pup company. I walk my dog three times a day with distances ranging from 0.5-1 mile every walk. He’s a very active dog with a neutral personality.

“I am so grateful for Rita. I have a reactive Pitt who was rescued from severe neglect at about 1 year old. I am very cautious about who I leave him with and I have to say I trust Rita implicitly with my dogs. Firstly they love her, she spends actual time with them and I know she can handle my Bossko no problem. Rita has an understanding of dogs and their behavior/needs that has been literally life saving for my dog. That probably sounds dramatic but we were having some big behavioral issues surrounding a move and I was starting to worry about safety but also refused to give up on my dog. Rita offered some insight as to what he might be needing from me and offered some ideas on a routine and safety measures I could implement to help him (things that are actually sustainable in my busy life as a single mom) and it has been a game changer! I can see the difference in his demeanor, in his recovery from stressful events, and he's so much more happy and fulfilled. My whole house is so much more calm and settled and I get to give him a happier life. Rita's understanding and compassionate care for dogs is unmatched, and I'm a better dog mom as a result.”
