“Maddy was fantastic!! She stayed with our big crew while we were away for a weekend and took perfect care of everyone. We got great reports and lots of pictures, and we came home to happy pets and a clean home. We’d absolutely recommend her!”

“Barbara always takes such good care of our dogs! She stayed at our house this time and did a wonderful job. We love receiving the regular updates she sends. We know Dixie and Cupid are in great hands with Barbara!”

“Courtney and John Francis were excellent! They took great care of our three cats and even watered the plants. We received photos and updates throughout our time gone even though we didn't have service the entire time. They vacuumed near the litter before we came home as well. We'd rebook with them any time and they seemed very cool when we met them in person! We'll definitely be using them as a resource in the future!”

“I was so impressed with Amalia's attention to detail and compassion for my baby, Fitty (my cat-son). Amalia made me feel so comfortable so I could really enjoy myself away. Thanks so much Amalia, you did a great job and I will be hiring you again!”

“Kobi loved Jasmine. I had nothing to worry about while on vacation. I received constant updates which gave me that peace of mind. Glad I trusted her with my baby! Will be booking again.”

“Jill watched our two dogs for 4 nights and it was a great experience. This was our first time having someone stay at our house with them, and by the end of our trip they were following Jill around and happy. Her communication was great, with multiple pictures every day and quick responses to our questions. Plus, our dogs were great eaters for her, unlike when they have stayed at family members' homes.”

“She was amazing! House under construction, my schedule was chaos and i started my day at 6 am. She was flexible, able to handle construction workers and a dog in a bare bones house, and worked with me when i ended up being 4 hours late. Absolutely a repeat customer”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristie! She took absolutely incredible care of our three dogs and treated them like they were her own. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were not only safe and well cared for, but genuinely loved while we were away. Kristie also looked after our home with the same level of care and attention. Everything was spotless and exactly as we left it when we returned. On top of that, she was unbelievably flexible and accommodating when our travel plans changed at the last minute. She handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and zero stress. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and truly compassionate to care for your pets and home, Kristie is the absolute best. We would recommend her without hesitation and can’t wait to book her again!”

“Hailey was great with our two dogs! She took amazing care of them while we were gone and sent tons of updates and photos. I would definitely trust her with my dogs again.”

About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. I love to scritch ears, make up stupid songs for them, and play on the floor. My current pack consists of two sighthound mixes and two middle-management cats. Am I Katy or Mary? Both. The joy of going by either the first name or the nickname. You can call me Katy. The IRS can keep calling me Mary ... and please, if you're from IRS, don't call me. I am currently working from home and would love the excuse to get out and walk or, when it's really too hot, engage in play in the backyard. I am mindful of the various personalities I could encounter. I understand that not all pets want to play. Some want to chill and know that you're there. Others need to get that energy out. When doing pop ins, I would be mindful of what their humans say.
“Awesome experience..Happy dog! Kyle stayed at our house for extended weekend with our Hazel and her disposition was so much better than when she is boarded while we are gone. Kyle went above and beyond on also taking care of the house and communicating with us! I definitely would use him again!”

“London was great! She was extremely responsive, respectful and flexible. She took great care of Dogman, sent picture updates and made sure we stayed informed. I would definitely book with her again!”

“I was so happy and comfortable leaving Annie with Roua. She sent me pictures and updates on Annie everyday. Annie was happy when I returned home, she wasn't stressed out or anxious. I would definitely recommend Roua to anyone and I will for sure use her again.”

“Madelyn came to our home to care for our new puppy while we were out of town. We've never had an in-home sitter and can't say enough positive comments about Madelyn and this experience! She was exceptionally communicative throughout the weekend with numerous updates and pictures. Madelyn clearly has a love of animals that shows in her care and interactions. We highly recommend Madelyn to help you care for your pets when you're away! She will definitely be the first one we contact if we are in need of an in-home pet sitter again!”

“Latisha was amazing, my girls loved her, she was a great guest in our home, & she sent daily pictures with updates that made it a little bit easier to be away from my fur babies. One of my girls was also suffering with an injury and Latisha was great with her, we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“We needed dogsitter who would be comfortable staying in our home with our pups. We got that and more with Lyn. She did an excellent job caring for our pups. They found a new snuggle companion. Which was quite amazing because our 10-month-old Staffordshire terrier mix doesn’t warm up to anyone quickly. Additionally she cared for our plants inside and out. She respected our home and took excellent care of it. We look forward to working with her again in the future.”

“Jessica is great! She’s very patient with senior and, at times, anxious dogs. Our three are usually very standoffish with new people since they are older, but Jessica helped them feel safe with her. Thank you!”

“Rhonda was great as a sort of last minute booking as our usual dog sitter was unable to watch them. She sent pictures of the babies! She even clipped our cats “murder mittens” as we completely forgot to do that before we left. The animals seemed to love her and she took care of our home! 10/10 recommended!”

“Deborah was fantastic! She stayed in touch daily. She brushed Piper sometimes twice a day! She walked her every day multiple times. Played ball with her and definitely took her for a really fun car ride! Deborah also took fantastic care of our house! We will most definitely use her again.”

Chandler Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Matthew was fantastic! I am a very anxious dog mom to a 10 yr old pitbull who can at times be reactive to other dogs on walks and so leaving him alone with someone can be stressful but Matthew was attentive and communicative letting me know things were going smoothly. My pup had no problem cuddling up with him on the couch and hanging out! I also have two cats and all 3 of them seemed very well taken care of and everything was great and so smooth! Matthew also was very attentive to my home, taking out the trash, folding up the linens, etc. 10/10 recommend and will be using Matthew again in the future.

Natalia took such good care of my babies, especially Xander who needed oral medicine every day! She sent me plenty of updates during my trip, allowing me to enjoy my time without worrying about them. And the cats looked healthy and happy when I got home! Will definitely rebook with her again.

Marisa did an amazing job taking care of my two dogs. She communicated daily with pictures and updates. She wrote down all of their needs during the meet visit which makes everything very easy. I definitely would have her watch my dogs again in the future. She gave me peace of mind while I was away for a few days.
