About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 30 years experience caring for dogs, cats, pet birds, chickens, small mammals, reptiles, and other "non-traditional" pets. In addition to dogs and cats, my own pets have included rabbits, ferrets, box turtles, parrots, finches, and even a Texas spiny lizard! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood as owner but also the strays that come along! I have also volunteered at the animal shelter and adoption agency and not afraid of the pet duties that come with dogs and cats. I work full time remote Monday to Thursday. Available any time Friday to Sunday for this weekend trips that come up. Walks or dog sitting while working is not an issue for me or my employer. I do have one dog and one cat, but can crate pet if needed and have their own space & to fulfill their needs. Yard is not fully fenced so walks will be main source of outside time.

About: Retired so I'm able to devote plenty of 1-on-1 time to care, play, and snuggle with your precious family member as if they were my own furr babies. About: I've been a foster carer for various greyhound organizations here (ATX and DFW) and in Australia. I get the hounds that are cat safe and get them used to living with cats. I'm always fostering, which is why I cannot take in more dogs for sitting, but I can do pop-ins. Before I fostered greyhounds, I used to petsit for friends' parents. If your pet prefers solitude, I can close off the living room and dining/kitchen area to keep them separated. My boys, who are still at home, are 9 and 18, and they will give lots of love and attention. For drop-in visits, I am happy to provide any necessary care and handle extra tasks such as watering plants, retrieving the mail, or taking out the trash. However, I cannot do walks due to a wonky knee, which limits my walking distance.

I have tortoises. They are very special to me. Miranda step in and gave them attention they needed while I was away. She came every day as requested, cleaning the enclosure, giving fresh water, feeding them and just being there for them. My husband was pleased at how pleasant and thorough her visits were.
