“Knowing Dana was coming by every day and playing with our kitten every day and making sure the feral cat we feed was also taken care of made our vacation stress free. It was great getting lots of pictures and coming home to a happy kitten.”

“After a string of bad Rovers, Bonny was such a relief to find. Smart, capable and went above and beyond to clean my cat’s food bowls before she left. She was able to get my scaredy cats out of hiding to play and purr. I trust her 10000%!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently have three of my own, including pups who require extra care such as daily medication and plenty of one-on-one attention. At heart I’m a cat lady too, so I’m comfortable with all the little quirks, routines, and needs that come with both cats and dogs. Above all, I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I do work 9-5 Monday through Friday, however available on the weekends and afternoons! Some days I’m working from home and have more availability to assist. To be discussed per each pet’s need. I will cater to each clients need based on what the pet entails and what will be needed.
“Courtney is the best sitter we’ve ever had! She has such genuine care for pets and was so kind to our cat Hazel. From giving her all the playtime and cuddles she needed to sharing the cutest visit photos, Courtney will keep your mind at ease and your pets happy while you’re away.”

“I’d like to leave a great word for Ann D. I was really afraid about what to do for my furbabies, my two cats, Oliver and Zelda, while I went away on an extended trip. I checked out Pet Suites and didn’t feel comfortable with the reviews. So I called PetCo because that’s where I take my cats to the Vet. PetCo suggested I check out Rover. I read Ann D.’s reviews. She immediately responded to my text and was ready to stop by and interview within a moment’s notice. While I was gone, she came to my home timely to visit my furbabies everyday on all the scheduled times. She sent me very detailed, well-written, thoughtful text messages after each visit and even sent me pictures and a video of my furbabies after each visit. She did a fantastic job and when I got home, I could tell my furbabies were happy. Thank you Ann! I will definitely be booking you again!”

“Kathrine was a great sitter! She even found our kitty who had escaped before we left and brought him back for us. She was so attentive to the pets and their needs.”

“Latisha was wonderful with our two cats! It gave us such peace of mind during our trip. She sent wonderful pictures/updates and we felt completely at ease with our cats in her care. She was also has a lovely and warm personality that both us and our cats loved! She did exactly as asked and completed all tasks left by us. When we got home our cats were happy and full.”

“Katherine was great with my kitten. This was my first time leaving him with someone and I was a little worried, but she gave me pictures and videos right away and kept me updated every day. He was very happy and loved being with her.”

About: I have experience pet-sitting for large dogs (including one anxious pitbull) with distinct dietary needs and specific schedules, as well as boarding smaller dogs and fostering and sitting for MANY cats. I'm particularly skilled at medicating difficult cats (both pills and liquids). I give every pet the close attention they need and the best care possible, even when the cats insist on fresh ice water! I work remotely and love the variety of visiting with furry friends throughout the day. Far from a distraction, pets put me at my best productivity in their company and always know the perfect time for a break. I have reliable transportation and pride myself on being consistently punctual. I'm also glad to take notes and ask questions to make sure I meet your every need.
“Geni is a true professional and went above and beyond with my cat. I always felt very comfortable with them and I could sense they truly cared about my cat and her well-being.”

About: what sets me apart is not only is this a passion for me i went to school for it. I feel like pet care services should be more accessible cause you know shit happens and having a good pet care system really changes things. Im from Chicago and im currently trying to become an exotic veterinarian or be within vet med sciences. I completed one step by attended fox college vet tech in chicago and trained animals on top of that specializing in fear and aggression. I’ve worked with banfield clinics and have done free service pop ups. i’m never gonna judge just want to be part of your pet caring team. I work for a different company aside from rover and I love it doing the same thing. I went to school for it. its a passion for me. people and animals save each other all the time, thats the stuff that matters. a good pet care system helps foster a good environment. I own pets so i understand all sides. I always follow the instructions given first to me first because every dog and every routine is different. tips and tricks can work for certain situations but at the end of the day, pet parent knows their dog best. How I personally take care of my pets is through getting to know their individual personalities and building a system that runs with my lifestyle, but also taking them to dog parks using plate puzzles to stimulate them, and personal time because, at the end of the day they are just as as much as aware as we are.
About: I’ve worked with animals since childhood and currently handle my own reactive dog who has significant behavioral challenges. Through extensive training, positive reinforcement, and patience, I’ve learned to read body language, manage triggers, and create calm environments for anxious or reactive pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats, and other animals. Neighbors, friends, and family trust me with their pets because I treat each animal as an individual with unique needs. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy, a senior pet requiring medication, or a reactive dog needing structured walks, I provide attentive, reliable care that gives owners peace of mind. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekday evenings (typically after 5-6pm) and anytime on weekends. This makes me ideal for after-work walks, evening feeding visits, or full weekend care when you’re traveling. I’m also flexible for last-minute weekend bookings. I keep a consistent schedule so your pet can rely on regular timing, and I always communicate clearly about availability and any changes. For dog walks, I’m experienced with leash reactivity and keep dogs safely secured with secure collars/harnesses. I follow each owner’s specific instructions for feeding, medication, and routine. In your home, I’m respectful of your space, keep doors/gates secured, and send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. I have a fenced yard if boarding is needed. My own dog has taught me to be vigilant about safety - I never take risks with gates, doors, or off-leash situations unless you’ve explicitly approved it.
“Makayla was wonderful! My cat warmed to her quickly which gave me peace of mind while I was out of town. Makayla was also detailed in her notes, responded promptly, and provided daily photographs. I will definitely book her again! ❤️”

“Dani was very attentive and communicative. Setting up the sit was easy and it was obvious she really cares about animals. Lulu only likes people with calm energies and the fact that she would come out while she was there says a lot about her calm and friendly energy. She was very engaging with Ranger our kitten who needs lots of attention and play time. We appreciated her detailed updates and adorable photos.”

About: Hi! My name is Doug. I'm a freelance film worker who's been rescuing and raising dogs and cats for most of my adult life. I already pet sit for most of my friends, so I figured I'd give Rover a try. I have a two beautiful kitties. I don’t currently have a dog. I lost my Fiona in February, and I’m just not ready for another yet. I love caring for animals. To me, it's so much less stressful on the animal to keep them in a home while you travel than in a kennel environment. I have a house suitable for boarding a couple of more dogs at a time. If you'd like boarding service for dogs, I just have to be sure they're cat friendly. Your pet won’t just be cared for at my house, they’ll be loved! I WILL ONLY BOARD DOGS THAT HAVE BEEN SPAYED OR NEUTERED. NO EXCEPTIONS. My schedule is irregular, so my a availability waivers. I’m a freelancer and generally book between one or two weeks in advance, so it’s difficult for me to commit too far in advance. I have a fenced in yard and live in a great neighborhood. As long as you don’t have an escape artist, they’ll be all good here!
“Alexandra was only the third person we’ve had sit our cats, and we could tell a difference when we got home. She really did a great job! They weren’t strange or needy. They obviously got lots of good attention while we were away. Her care and attention to details was superior.”
