“Min was great!!! She sent us updates everyday and took a lot of pictures. She also put the mail and packages in our house, which we hadn't even asked her to do. She also went above and beyond regarding our cats. We just asked her to make sure they had food, but she scooped out the litter boxes and swept the floor too. Our dogs were very comfortable with her - we could tell by the photos she sent. We are extremely happy with Min and will want to use her again in the future!”

“Matthew is awesome!! We have used him for walks in the past but needed a drop in visitor for the holiday weekend, he was quick to respond and eager to help our dog Stetson. We would absolutely use him again for drop in visits!”

“As always, Elle is fantastic and our cat loves her. I’ve lost track of how many times we’ve scheduled with Elle but we have two more trips this year…. At a minimum. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“John was AMAZING! So kind and took amazing care of my animals. He was also very punctual too and provided tons of pics and feedback on how the walks went and general behavior. Will definitely be looking to book him again if he is available!!”

“Eloise did an AMAZING job caring for our dogs! She communicated well and frequently, especially when she had a question or concern for one of the dogs. The best thing was her cute notes written at each check-in. My kids and I looked forward to reading them and seeing all the pictures. Eloise was always on time, which we really appreciated! We will definitely use Eloise again!”

“Nicole is absolutely the best! We have two large dogs, and she went above and beyond in every possible way. She took AMAZING care of our pups and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She thought of everything—from turning on the porch lights, putting on Disney movies for the dogs, and adding ice to their water bowls, to sending timely updates and always being responsive. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our dogs as if they were her own. This was our first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous, but Nicole made the entire experience so wonderful and stress-free. I truly cannot say enough great things about her. We can’t wait to book with her again, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!”

“Phenomenal - so sweet with my girl, Maple. She took great photos, fed her, played fetch and left the tv on for her so she’d have something to listen to while I was gone. Highly recommend.”

“We have used Olivia multiple times to care for our high energy, lovable dog. Olivia takes such good care of her a few times during the day all week when I travel, and my husband is at work. Our baby loves Olivia! Olivia takes her for a walk, plays with her in our back yard and gives her lots of love... Just what our baby needs. Thank you, Olivia for taking such great care of our baby :)”

“I have had Marshall watch my Gemma twice now and he has been wonderful. Gemma is a very timid and sometimes stubborn girl but Marshall is patient with her and she responds to him. He gives great detailed reports and includes photos at all visits. Highly recommend!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! Kennedy went above and beyond—not only was she reliable and communicative, but she also took extra steps to ensure our pup’s well-being. When she noticed our dog’s stool was runny, she thoughtfully added rice and bone broth to her food to help settle her stomach. It’s clear she truly cares about the animals she looks after. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate, and proactive pet caregiver!”

“Lisa did an amazing job taking care of our cat. Our cat takes multiple pills every day and Lisa was so patient and loving with him to make sure he got every dose. She went above and beyond in caring for him and we looked forward to her updates and pictures after each visit. We would absolutely book her again!”

About: I am dog owner of a golden retriever. I love teaching him new tricks all the time. I have worked very closely with other trainers to train dogs so I have expirence training dogs. I love taking the dogs to the dog parks. I usually walk everyday. I spend about 20 minutes training him every day and he loves it. Training is another way of showing your dog you love them and you are paying attention to them. So they love it. I also grew with my parents that have a farm with alot of differnt animals. They own 6 Great Pyraneese , goats, chickens, cats, pigs, and I have been peacocks. I have helped my parents raised them and feed them.
“She did such an amazing job! So communicative and willing to meet before doing the check in. Our boys were so happy to be in her care!! Would definitely rebook again 🥰”

“Louann was a lifesaver when we needed someone at the last minute. She took good care of Toby . She followed all our instructions with great detail and got the job done!. Thank you Louann!”

“Another trip for us, having James to take care of our 3 Boxers. All went really well, James is always checking in and out at each visit, and very responsive if we needed to ask anything. James is calm, not afraid of our Shiloh being an Alpha male pretty intense, and could manage Papi being needy, and Morgan being shy and difficult to approach. We found our sitter for our next trips for sure!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Shiloh
Our 4, high-maintenance kitties were very well cared for while we were away. Yung was very thorough with her updates at each visit and was delightful to work with. She even cleaned up after our messy little kitties. Definitely recommend and would gladly hire again!

We recently went on a three-day international trip and needed someone truly trustworthy to look after our cat. We were fortunate enough to find Vicki, and I can confidently say she exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, her communication was clear, professional, and thoughtful. She asked the right questions, paid attention to every detail, and instantly gave us peace of mind. While we were away, Vicki cared for our cat with a level of dedication and kindness that is rare to find. She didn’t just “check in” on him—she genuinely spent time with him, comforted him, played with him, and made sure he felt safe and loved in our absence. Her updates were consistent, detailed, and incredibly reassuring. Each photo and message reflected how much she truly cares about animals. When we came back home, we could immediately see the difference. Our cat was calm, happy, and completely relaxed—almost as if we had never left. In fact, over the past few days, we can tell he genuinely misses Vicki and keeps looking toward the door, waiting for her to walk in again. It’s rare for him to bond with someone new so quickly, and that alone says everything about the level of comfort and trust she created. To be honest, we feel like we’ve found a new member of our family in Vicki. Her kindness, reliability, professionalism, and genuine love for animals make her an exceptional caregiver. Knowing that our cat was in such capable and loving hands allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. I would recommend Vicki to anyone on Rover who wants true peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone responsible, compassionate, and truly devoted to the well-being of your pet, Vicki is absolutely the person you want. We are so grateful for her and will definitely be booking with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Shiloh. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
