About: Many many years experience taking care of pets and house sitting. I’ve looked after all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, birds, fish, and even some farm animals. I’m great at following instructions for the pets and household. Whether it’s giving medication or watering houseplants, I got you covered! I want to give the pet owner as much peace of mind as possible that their fur babies will be safe and happy. I’m available Sun-Sat. 7 days a week. I can also do overnights. Babysitting is my main job, but I’d love to switch to pet sitting full time! I try my best to care for pets as perfectly as possible. I’m great at following instructions for the animals and home. I will always spoil them too! I love giving lots of pets and hanging out on the couch with them. I will treat them like my own fur babies 😊!
“Mike was awesome! I felt so comfortable leaving the pups in his care. Between a food crazed 16yr old Beagle and an extremely shy young rescue, Mike catered to both of their needs. He provided fun visit updates and really showed compassion for both dogs. He treated them as if they were his own Archie. We’ll definitely reach out to him for future dog visits. Thank you Mike for everything!”
About: I currently have 2 dogs - Morkies (Yorkies and Maltese mix). Pets have always been a part of my life. Family and friends tell me that I treat my dogs like they are people; I say that I just love them and they love me. You can be sure that I would love and care for your pets just as much. Please don't leave them home alone. Contact me and enjoy your time away from home - your pets will be in great hands with attentive care. My schedule is flexible which allows me the opportunity to be home during the day, and all nights. Please, no aggressive dogs. I will make sure that your dogs are comfortable and safe with me. I have an 8' fenced back yard, with security cameras. I enjoy being outside with your furbabies and will provide that extra level of security when they are running around in the backyard. I have hard floors for easy clean-up. I also provide extra blankets to keep your furbabies warm. I also have a separate eating area set up for your furbabies. I keep one extra crate, if needed when you bring your dog.
About: I've comfortably taken care of pets with special needs, from blind pets to needing daily medicine. I can care for puppies all the way up to senior pets. I love to go on walks and can handle any situation. I’m a Texas Tech student with lots of free time, and I love caring for animals. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily work around your preferred times, from early mornings to late nights. I prioritize safety and comfort in every home. I follow the pet’s normal routine, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure food, water, and medications, if needed, are handled correctly. I always double check doors, gates, and crates to ensure pets stay secure and safe as well. As the saying goes, I always aim to leave things better than how I found them.

About: I've helped friends, family, neighbors, co workers and many more by dog sitting, walking, feeding, and giving medicine to their pets. Have experience with a wide range of breeds including Great Danes, Cane Corsos, Rottweiler, Frenchies, Cavaliers, German Shepherds and many different cats lol. Also have experience with houses that have both dogs and cats. Currently working a hybrid schedule so am able to work my schedule around by helping and visiting families who need that help with their pets. Have always been inquisitive and go the extra step by asking any specific needs and researching before hand the breed so I can be best prepared for the pet and give them the best care and attention possible.
“This rebook with Sebnem was amazing she is so great with my cat. She truely cares about pets and treats them as one of her own. She is great at communicating before, during, and after the visit.”

“Eloise did an AMAZING job caring for our dogs! She communicated well and frequently, especially when she had a question or concern for one of the dogs. The best thing was her cute notes written at each check-in. My kids and I looked forward to reading them and seeing all the pictures. Eloise was always on time, which we really appreciated! We will definitely use Eloise again!”

“Jamie was great and I will definitely use her again. She provided timely updates and pictures. I used her for drop in visits and had no problem trusting her in my home or with my small zoo :)”

“Madelyn was a delight to work with! She was able to take my last minute request and sent me lots of photos and a detailed description of her visit with Ranger. She was enthusiastic and extremely sweet and I can’t wait to use her again. I’m glad that I found someone trustworthy and easy to communicate with!”

About: I have always had pets in my life. When I was growing up, we would often adopt dogs and cats needing a loving home into our family! I also grew up sharing my home with adopted rabbits, birds, hamsters, and fish. I am a 20 year veteran teacher and would love to spend some of my summer time helping you take care of your fur babies. I'm coming to the end of my school year and have late afternoons into evenings free during the week, as well as full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. I can do earlier mornings during the week if needed, but only for drop ins for morning feedings. I have a senior dog and cat in my home, so I will only be offering services at client's homes. My services include walking your dog, playing catch, lap time with kitty cats, belly rubs and more! Although you will see photos of my family with our pets in my profile, I will be taking care of your pet(s) without any assistance from others, and would be the only one coming to your home to visit or stay with your pet.
“Vicki gave extra special attention to Cinder Lou even though he would not come out of his hidey hole in the closet. She spoke to him and called him by name as well as giving his treats and bringing a toy for him. I know it made a difference that he knew someone was there talking to him and keeping his food and water fresh and his box clean. Vicki is loving, caring and intuitive lady who gives attention to every detail and I'm so lucky I found her!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Shiloh
Our 4, high-maintenance kitties were very well cared for while we were away. Yung was very thorough with her updates at each visit and was delightful to work with. She even cleaned up after our messy little kitties. Definitely recommend and would gladly hire again!

We recently went on a three-day international trip and needed someone truly trustworthy to look after our cat. We were fortunate enough to find Vicki, and I can confidently say she exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, her communication was clear, professional, and thoughtful. She asked the right questions, paid attention to every detail, and instantly gave us peace of mind. While we were away, Vicki cared for our cat with a level of dedication and kindness that is rare to find. She didn’t just “check in” on him—she genuinely spent time with him, comforted him, played with him, and made sure he felt safe and loved in our absence. Her updates were consistent, detailed, and incredibly reassuring. Each photo and message reflected how much she truly cares about animals. When we came back home, we could immediately see the difference. Our cat was calm, happy, and completely relaxed—almost as if we had never left. In fact, over the past few days, we can tell he genuinely misses Vicki and keeps looking toward the door, waiting for her to walk in again. It’s rare for him to bond with someone new so quickly, and that alone says everything about the level of comfort and trust she created. To be honest, we feel like we’ve found a new member of our family in Vicki. Her kindness, reliability, professionalism, and genuine love for animals make her an exceptional caregiver. Knowing that our cat was in such capable and loving hands allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. I would recommend Vicki to anyone on Rover who wants true peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone responsible, compassionate, and truly devoted to the well-being of your pet, Vicki is absolutely the person you want. We are so grateful for her and will definitely be booking with her again.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Shiloh. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
