About: I was about 9 years old when my family finally gave in and got us a dog. I’ve loved dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I love a good snuggle and am very conscious of nutritional and medical necessities. One of my pups needs a thunder jacket when it storms and my other girl needs medicine every 12 hours. We make food at home, 3 recipes designed around food sensitivities and quality ingredients, which is fed at breakfast and kibble for dinner. They love it! Pet care is all day, every day. I’m supposed to write more about how pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine… but I take care of them like my children. Day, night, holidays, middle of the night. If they need us, they get what they need, doesn’t matter what day or time it is. I will take care of any animal with their parent’s instructions. I don’t let my dogs on the couch, but all other furniture is fine by me. I have a golden retriever, if it weren’t for the hair I would let any dog snuggle up. But, what goes for one goes for all. Every pet has a routine of some sort, anything I can do to help keep that in place is always up to their parents and I’m happy to help. One of my pups can tell time, apparently, because she knows exactly what time we feed, and at 8pm on the dot, she begins begging to go to bed in her kennel. My golden doesn’t want a kennel, so she doesn’t have one… but boy she has quite the personality and she actually answers and “speaks” her wishes. Both of my girls love to ride in the car. I used to have another Golden and I took him to Senior Centers with a service vest, he was amazing and very gentle.
