“Absolutely amazing!! She took such great care of my husky, Atlas and cat, Mayhem! Loved the updates and you could tell she loves animals! Will definitely request again in the future!”

About: Am I knew to Rover? Yes. Am I knew to loving animals? Absolutely not, I've been an animal lover my entire life. As a child, I grew up with dogs, birds, ferrets, and hamsters. Currently have two boxer mix dogs of my own, and a toddler which counts as an animal in my book! I'm not able to board animals in my home at this time, but am open to all other kinds of pet care. Experience: Corn Snake Bearded Dragons Ferrets Cats Dogs Medication management Diapers I'm currently going to school and using Rover as my income, so I am available all hours of the day, including short notice. I love being outside and I'm able to bring my schooling with me wherever I go, so if you're looking for maximum flexibility then you've found it! In my client's home, I try to match the same energy and routine that your pet is already accustomed to. Having someone else enter their space is already shock enough, so having someone who is as close to normal as possible is important to me.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

About: Trusted pet sitter with 5 years’ experience. Services provided include, loving care, daily updates, walks, medication, and overnights. Calm with seniors, playful with puppies and cats. I recently retired, so I have plenty of time to walk, play with and care for your pets. I am available most days with notice. I have two dogs of my own, so I can crate dogs and walk them. My dogs are an 85 lb, chocolate lab named Tripp and a yorkiepoo named Roxy. I loved to cuddle with and love on pups and cats.

“Courtney was the best with my girls! She took such great care of them and gave them lots of love while I was away. It definitely made my older dog that has major anxiety feel so much better she was here to care for them. If you need someone I recommend Courtney 1000%! Thanks Courtney!”

About: I have always had pets in my life since I was at a very young age. I recently moved to Princeton with my family and we are animal lovers all the way! I currently work from home, I and my wife also have a dog Luka who is 3 y/o and would love some company to play and exercise. We live on a nice apartment property, located super close to Carrollton Blue and Orange trails and outdoor. We always clean up and respect our four-legged friends. I have a very flexible job, that allows me to take many breaks during the day, allowing me to look after the doggies. I usually have smooth music for Luka while I'm on a call, but 80% of the time we just hang out until the next break to go out and walk around. On weekends we like going to the outdoors to get that extra excersice when needed. I take care with the basics needs first, always filtered water and safe to use toys, I like keeping them entertained with toys or a comfy sofa to lay down. I like taking them on walks nearby, as our apartment isn't fenced I like to keep him on a leash until we go to a park where they can run a little and stretch those legs.
“She did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our babies. She didn’t just take care of their physical needs but cared for them and loved on them the way we would have if we were there. If you ever need someone to care for your fur babies, definitely reach out to her. We got fun photos at every visit and a sweet note explaining their adventures and activities! 5 stars and highly recommend!”

“Sydney has been a fantastic pet sitter for our cat, Chester, while we were away for a week. She followed all of our instructions carefully, took great care of him, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We also returned to find our home in excellent condition. We truly appreciate her reliability and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Mary is great!! She is the epitome of an animal lover and an overall amazing human being! Being new to the area we don’t have many options when it comes to leaving our dog Maxx with someone and since he’s not the friendliest with other dogs, it makes it rather difficult to board him. After reading several of Mary’s reviews, we knew she was the one for Maxx but didn’t know if she would be available with such late notice, especially since she also boards and was fully booked for the days we would be away. She not only made herself available but she also came by the day before just to meet him so that he was comfortable with her. He took to her instantly! The update pics that she would send also proved that Maxx was happy and being well taken care of. We are absolutely going to look to use Mary for all our future needs! Thanks for everything Mary!!”

“Toria was amazing with my fur babies! She watched my two bunnies while i was out of town and provided great feedback and pictures to show me how they were doing!”

“10/10 for Peyton! She was so kind and caring towards my cat and sent me so many updates! This was my first time leaving my cat, and Payton made me feel so comfortable ☺️ I will definitely use her again in the future!!!! 💓”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Yucote Acres. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
