About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs for over 15 years and truly love every personality, different breeds , and sizes- from playful puppies to shy senior cats and dogs. As a self‑employed sitter with a flexible schedule, I’m available seven days a week for walks, drop‑ins, and overnight care.My calm, pet‑free home is ideal for cat boarding, offering cozy resting spots and a clean, quiet environment. I follow feeding schedules, litter preferences, and medication instructions closely. For dogs, I provide reliable walks, check‑ins, and overnight stays in your home, keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. I’m gentle with anxious pets, patient with seniors, and always send photo updates so you can relax knowing your furry family is safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m currently self‑employed and make my own schedule, which means I’m extremely flexible and available seven days a week. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home often, able to adjust my day around visits, walks, and overnight stays, and I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule. Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last‑minute support, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of timing needs. I care for pets with a calm, gentle, and detail‑oriented approach. In your home, I follow your routines exactly! Feeding schedules, potty breaks, litter care, walks, medication instructions, and any special notes you provide. I keep your home tidy, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. In my home, I offer a quiet, pet‑free environment that is especially ideal for cats. I have cozy resting spots, safe areas for exploration, and a clean setup ready for boarding. Most owners bring their cat’s preferred litter box, litter, food, and carrier, but I also keep a clean backup litter box and extra litter available if needed. I move slowly with shy or anxious pets, give them space to warm up, and always prioritize their comfort. I send consistent photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: I’ve had pets of all kinds my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m confident, attentive, and genuinely love what I do. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them plenty of love, playtime, and comfort so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands. 🐾💗 I am a high school senior heavily involved in band. I have some weekends I go to my mom’s house but I will have those in my calander. I can do morning visits before 8am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and before 9am on Tuesday and Thursday. I can come in the afternoon after 4. On weekends when I’m in town I am flexible! During each visit, I can take your pet on walks, let them outside for bathroom breaks, feed them according to their routine, and spend time playing so they stay happy, active, and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾

Courtney is amazing. I could not have asked for more from someone. She cared for my companion with much love and always did her best to do her best. She is willing to do more than just walk your companion; she gives them love and attention. She treats them very well. I never had an issue with her attendance either; she was extremely reliable! If you are in need of someone to care for your companion; consider Courtney, you will not be disappointed.

About: I have 9 years of pet care experience with my own dog, other people's animals, and as a volunteer at the SPCA of Texas. I have taken care of many animals in my years of pet sitting in including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, and guinea pigs. It is not easy for animals to scare me. I'm currently working a part time at a veterinary hospital and going to school part time. I'm not a very busy person, so I will have plenty of extra time to look after your furry little family member. I keep dogs on a leash at all times when walking. I like to follow a list with times for when certain things need to be done. I like to try and keep a schedule that is close to what each pet is used to on a daily basis.

About: Am I knew to Rover? Yes. Am I knew to loving animals? Absolutely not, I've been an animal lover my entire life. As a child, I grew up with dogs, birds, ferrets, and hamsters. Currently have two boxer mix dogs of my own, and a toddler which counts as an animal in my book! I'm not able to board animals in my home at this time, but am open to all other kinds of pet care. Experience: Corn Snake Bearded Dragons Ferrets Cats Dogs Medication management Diapers I'm currently going to school and using Rover as my income, so I am available all hours of the day, including short notice. I love being outside and I'm able to bring my schooling with me wherever I go, so if you're looking for maximum flexibility then you've found it! In my client's home, I try to match the same energy and routine that your pet is already accustomed to. Having someone else enter their space is already shock enough, so having someone who is as close to normal as possible is important to me.

About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.

About: I have worked at Petsmart before. At Petsmart we are required to know what makes a dog comfortable while at a public place or somewhere other than home. I have watched over puppies 2 and 3 months old for my in laws a couple times now. My parents got a kitten that I helped take care of till I moved out about 10 months later. I own a chinchilla which is an exotic small animal. I’ve had her for a year. I’ve been fascinated by pets since I was a child and always do my research before taking care of an animal. I look forward to being of assistance. I fluctuate between part time and full time. I’m usually free tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. I can schedule the time off if it’s 3 or 4 weeks in advance. I usually work mornings except for mondays, when I work evenings. I can always visit the pup or kitty during break and then spend the rest of the day with them after work. This will most likely be temporary until I can get a solid schedule here or at Home Depot. My apartment complex is very pet friendly. My building is only a few steps away from a dog park inside of the complex. The clubhouse has dog treats and I can provide as well based on age and diet. I will always ask any questions about what you would prefer for your fur baby. I have a chinchilla that stays in a cage as long as your pet is around. She is curious and will not hurt your pet even if they stick a paw in between the bars, which is hard to do anyways. My living room is a large space for any pet. I’m currently working part time, but I’m willing to do weekly stays with 2-3 weeks in advance notice. I also will require meet ups before every service in a public place. This is not going to be required for existing clients. I live in an apartment so I don’t currently own any pets, but everyone in my direct and extended family either has, or has had one that I’ve grown up with. I’m very familiar with animal routines and attributes. If something is bothering your pet, I will notice. I always keep in constant contact with whoever I petsit or help take care of for anything I may notice. Most of the time it’s things owners are already aware of, but I’ve always found it never hurts to ask and inform.

This was my first time using Rover so I didn't know what to expect. Booking was simple with Mary. She is very responsive and flexible. She came by before my travel for a meet and greet with my dog. He liked her and seemed very comfortable. During my trip there was great communication and pictures which showed my dog being very happy to spend time with her. She's a great choice if you're looking for reliability!

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. My pets are my children so I love them fiercely. I have worked with and volunteered with animals for the last 15 years. I’ve spent time with pets in a clinic environment as a vet tech, a shelter environment as a kennel tech and dog walker, and a rescue environment as a volunteer. My volunteer time has included transporting pets, walking dogs, helping mamas who just had puppies, and loving on new puppies too! I have flexibility and freedom with my schedule. I can do drop ins, stay and visit with your pet for a bit, and do feedings or give meds if need be. Because my own dogs can be knuckleheads, I can take care of your pets in your home. It might help make their time away from you easier for them anyhow. I can take them for walks, play with them in your yard, take them for car rides, and just hang out with them. My goal would be to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible. When they’re happy, you’re happy…and then you can enjoy your time away.

Or if your pet is a couch potato they’re more than welcome to lay around in the house too. With plenty of toys and space to run around or lounge around your dog will be well taken care of. About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 14, watching over dogs and cats for friends, coworkers, and family friends. Growing up in a family that always owned large dog breeds made me very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand the patience, attention, and care both dogs and cats need to feel safe and comfortable. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, and providing reliable, loving care to keep pets happy and well cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my daily schedule as I have a flexible routine with plenty of availability throughout the day. This allows me to provide consistent attention, whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening visits, and be reliable for walks, feeding, playtime, and any special care needs pets may have. I care for pets in my client’s home by following their routine closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I ensure fresh water is always available, clean up after pets, and maintain a safe, calm environment. I also give them attention and companionship, watch for any health or behavior changes, and respect the home by keeping everything clean and organized.

About: I have been a professional full time dog trainer for over 20 years. I opened my home to in-home boarding and day care a few years ago and absolutely love it. We treat all the animals that stay with us like they are part of our family until their loved ones come back! I send multiple updates a day, pictures and videos as well. I have many references I can offer you as well! It’s very rare that someone is not home with the animals. We spend our days going outside to play (weather permitting), and playing inside as well. The dogs are allowed to veg on the couch (if that’s allowed at their home!), and enjoy spending time with us! We have a 3 acre fenced yard. The dogs love it very much for running and playing. They are never outside unsupervised for any amount of time! Our property is perfect for endless dog fun. 🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
