About: I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets for over seven years, including Jonah (Golden Retriever), Jessie (Golden Pyrenees), and Mittens (tuxedo cat). My background includes hands-on experience caring for family animals and taking in rescues reflecting a lifelong dedication to animal care. My current schedule allows for consistent availability throughout the entire week, with mornings/afternoons before 4pm preferred. My availability after 4pm varies daily, so feel free to message to prior to booking! My home is a pet-friendly (and pet filled) environment with a large fenced yard for outdoor play, though most of our time with Mittens is spent indoors surrounded by toys and cozy spots to relax. I have three resident pets — Jonah, a Golden Retriever, Jessie, a Golden Pyrenees, and Mittens, a tuxedo cat — all of whom love playtime and are great company.

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, I’m available seven days a week for walks, drop‑ins, and overnight care.My calm, pet‑free home is ideal for cat boarding, offering cozy resting spots and a clean, quiet environment. For dogs, I provide reliable walks, check‑ins, and overnight stays in your home, keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. I’m gentle with anxious pets, patient with seniors, and always send photo updates so you can relax knowing your furry family is safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m currently self‑employed and make my own schedule, which means I’m extremely flexible and available seven days a week. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home often, able to adjust my day around visits, walks, and overnight stays, and I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule. Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last‑minute support, I’m able to accommodate a wide range of timing needs. I care for pets with a calm, gentle, and detail‑oriented approach. In your home, I follow your routines exactly! Feeding schedules, potty breaks, litter care, walks, medication instructions, and any special notes you provide. I have cozy resting spots, safe areas for exploration, and a clean setup ready for boarding. Most owners bring their cat’s preferred litter box, litter, food, and carrier, but I also keep a clean backup litter box and extra litter available if needed. I move slowly with shy or anxious pets, give them space to warm up, and always prioritize their comfort. I send consistent photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel confident they’re in good hands.

Jimmy did an amazing job taking my two dogs out for walks! Both of my dogs came back home very happy. Jimmy is very polite and communicates well. He even checked with me to see if he could walk my dogs early before the weather turned bad, ensuring they got their walk. I will definitely be using his services in the future!

About: I have 9 years of pet care experience with my own dog, other people's animals, and as a volunteer at the SPCA of Texas. I have taken care of many animals in my years of pet sitting in including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, and guinea pigs. It is not easy for animals to scare me. I'm currently working a part time at a veterinary hospital and going to school part time. I'm not a very busy person, so I will have plenty of extra time to look after your furry little family member. I keep dogs on a leash at all times when walking. I like to follow a list with times for when certain things need to be done. I like to try and keep a schedule that is close to what each pet is used to on a daily basis.

Madison was fantastic! She has the necessary skill and experience to handle my reactive Jack russell. She also had some great suggestions on ways to alleviate my dog's anxiety. My dogs took to her very quickly and I feel so much better knowing they are taken care of. I won't hesitate to call her again in the future.

Courtney is amazing. I could not have asked for more from someone. She cared for my companion with much love and always did her best to do her best. She is willing to do more than just walk your companion; she gives them love and attention. She treats them very well. I never had an issue with her attendance either; she was extremely reliable! If you are in need of someone to care for your companion; consider Courtney, you will not be disappointed.

About: I’ve taken care of pets when I used to live in Hawaii since I was 15. And would often give them baths, walk them, and feed them. I’m currently part time which means I’ll have plenty of time to take care of pets as well as take them on walks or to the park. I’ll often take them on a walk in the morning. I’ll feed them breakfast if that’s in their routine. Play with them in my apartment and then take them out again in the afternoon. I’ll then feed them dinner around 6-7 and then take them out once more.

About: Am I knew to Rover? Yes. Am I knew to loving animals? Absolutely not, I've been an animal lover my entire life. As a child, I grew up with dogs, birds, ferrets, and hamsters. Currently have two boxer mix dogs of my own, and a toddler which counts as an animal in my book! I'm not able to board animals in my home at this time, but am open to all other kinds of pet care. Experience: Corn Snake Bearded Dragons Ferrets Cats Dogs Medication management Diapers I'm currently going to school and using Rover as my income, so I am available all hours of the day, including short notice. I love being outside and I'm able to bring my schooling with me wherever I go, so if you're looking for maximum flexibility then you've found it! In my client's home, I try to match the same energy and routine that your pet is already accustomed to. Having someone else enter their space is already shock enough, so having someone who is as close to normal as possible is important to me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life of all different temperaments, for friends and family along with doggy daycares and even my own dog! I can walk your dog, drop in and say hi or stay with them in the comfort of their home, whatever is needed, I can help. My current schedule is free and flexible so I will have plenty of time to play and take care of your pets any day of the week! I currently have a 6 year old female pit Bull that is very dog reactive and dog selective, because of this she requires extra training and a special life style. She is crate trained, leash trained and knows many different commands, which has made me comfortable working with all types of dogs. I am comfortable crating your dogs if needed along with walking them and possibly teaching them a couple tricks they may not know!

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 14, watching over dogs and cats for friends, coworkers, and family friends. Growing up in a family that always owned large dog breeds made me very comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand the patience, attention, and care both dogs and cats need to feel safe and comfortable. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, and providing reliable, loving care to keep pets happy and well cared for while their owners are away. I’ve transitioned from full-time pet sitting to a part-time schedule. While my open days vary, my commitment to keeping your dog safe and happy hasn't changed. I highly recommend reaching out a bit in advance so we can coordinate and ensure my current schedule aligns perfectly with your needs! I care for pets in my client’s home by following their routine closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I ensure fresh water is always available, clean up after pets, and maintain a safe, calm environment. I also give them attention and companionship, watch for any health or behavior changes, and respect the home by keeping everything clean and organized.

Ashley did an incredible job taking care of Bronxy and truly helped both of us out while I was working. As a teacher and coach, my days can get really long, and knowing Bronxy was being cared for by someone dependable, kind, and attentive gave me a ton of peace of mind. She was communicative, professional, and clearly cared about making sure Bronxy was comfortable and happy. You can tell she genuinely loves animals, and Bronxy immediately connected with her. I’m extremely grateful for her help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet.

Wonderful person. My dogs are obsessed with her (2 huskys). She is very timely, friendly, and trustworthy. She is a must pick for your dogs. She will ensure your dog is well taken care of and meet any of its medical needs. My family will pay her for as long as she continues this line of work. Picking her is your best decision :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
