“I can’t say enough great things about Jaclyn. We decided to hire her for our crazy Great Pyrenees and all of our indoor cats. She was very punctual and we returned home to very happy babies. I had initially asked her to provide photos of them and she sent me photos of individual pet with every visit!! On top of that, she also spent quality time with them for their mental stimulation. We will hire her again and recommend her to all the anxious mothers who hate to be away from their furbabies. Thanks to her, we were able to spend some time away from home with ease of mind 🥰”

“Courtney did an amazing job with our girls during the drop in visits at our home! She followed our instructions carefully, kept us updated on how they were doing, and always sent photos and Rover cards after each visit. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing the girls were in great hands. We would definitely book with her again!”

“Cecilia went above and beyond. I had contractors at the house and she ensured Seamus was safe and unable to escape the backyard. She walked him and checked in to make sure I felt comfortable. Highly recommend Cecilia”

“This is the first time we have used Joleen for pet sitting. We thought she was wonderful and we will definitely use her again. Jingle and Belle enjoyed her visits when she came over for drop-ins.”

About: I have always had a dog or two in my life. Dogs are family, not pets. All dogs are special and spoiled. I have also helped with rescues by being a foster. I am currently working full time as a teacher until I retire in December. I am free on Friday-Sunday right now. Starting in January I will have an open schedule! I have a fenced yard and 2 dogs of my own. We have a doggy door. Your baby will be spoiled and loved just like my own. I like to keep a feeding schedule. I can also provide walks around my neighborhood. Our neighborhood is quiet.
“Ariana is fantastic! She helped us out on short notice and is a wonderful professional. Her daily updates were consistently done like clockwork. We felt so good knowing our pup was in good hands. Thank you, Ariana ! We will definitely call you again! Kelli & Sierra (woof!)”

“Rachel took fantastic care of our boy. He’s not the easiest dog but he clearly really liked her. Knowing she was taking care of our boy was very reassuring. Will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: Hi there! I'm the pet caretaker of your dreams; one walk with me and your dog won't ever wanna leave... Nah, I'm just kidding! No one could ever take care of your pet as well as you can, but I'll definitely give it my best shot! I've loved and cared for animals my whole life, including being a long-time dog and cat owner. I'll cuddle your lap dog or roughhouse with your giant Great Dane; whatever you need, I'm up for the challenge. I am comfortable and experienced with walking, house sitting, and playing with all kinds of dogs, having been providing these services in a non-professional capacity for friends and family for years until I discovered Rover. My secret weapon that makes me such a good pet caretaker is my low-key obsession with puppers and doggos of all kinds; they're just so cute that I can't help but fall in love with them and thus provide them the best care that I am able to give. I'm so excited to meet your baby; I promise that I will care for him or her just as I would my own!
About: Growing up surrounded by pets taught me that every animal has a unique personality, a distinct language, and a special place in our hearts. When you leave your furry family member with us, they aren't just getting a sitter; they are becoming part of our loving home. 🩵🐱🐶🩷 I bring years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, species, and temperaments: - 🐱I am the proud parent of a 5-year-old Bengal, so I thoroughly understand feline body language, high-energy play needs, and the patience required to earn a cat's trust on their own terms. - 🐶My husband and I were devoted parents to a gentle Border Collie who lived a full, happy 13 years with us. From her energetic youth to her golden senior years, I understand the love, attentiveness, and gentle care dogs need at every stage of life. - 🐜Small Pets & Exotic Experience: Over the years, I’ve cared for 3 hamsters, 2 rabbits, a betta fish, a black king snake and even support my husband’s hobby of breeding red-headed giant carpenter ants! No creature is too big, small, or unique for our home. - ❤️My core promise to you is simple: I will treat your pets with the same warmth, tenderness, and unwavering care as if they were my own. Expect plenty of updates, photos, and endless love while you are away! I’m a former interior designer from San Francisco, now based in Dallas, working as a freelance baking content creator (making homemade cakes and breads!) and co-founding a pet tag startup with friends. My creative work happens right at home and I am around all day to offer companionship, quick potty breaks, play sessions, and constant supervision. 🏕️We have a fenced yard for outdoor sniffing and lounging, located in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood perfect for daily walks and of course poopies💩 - 👍Sharing Space Safely: I own a very gentle, friendly 5-year-old Bengal who gets along wonderfully with other pets. However, if your cat or dog prefers to be the only baby at home or isn't comfortable around other animals, that is completely fine! We easily set up dedicated, isolated private spaces so every furry baby feels safe and relaxed.
About: With experience handling both senior and energetic pups, I offer tailored care for all ages. Trustworthy, attentive, and loving—your pets are in good paws! My household went from seasoned with the calm, wise presence of my 10-year-old Rottweiler mix to lively with the addition of a playful Great Pyrenees puppy, just last year! With my part-time job schedule, I'm fully available to cater to your pets' needs, offering house-sitting, walking, and doggy-sitting services throughout the week, and most weekends! In your home, I will meticulously follow all instructions provided, ensuring your pets receive optimal care, while also showering them with cuddles and playful fun!
“We had such a great experience and absolutely LOVED using Alexcee. She took such good care of both of our dogs and was incredibly patient and understanding with all of their quirks. She went above and beyond to make sure both dogs were comfortable, cared for, and happy while we were away. We really appreciated how communicative and thoughtful she was, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing the pups were in such good hands. We would absolutely love to have her watch them again and will definitely be reaching out the next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Sienna went above and beyond. We gave her a schedule if things and she did everything and more. She even said it was too easy and she felt she needed to do more, but she did plenty to care for our animals while we were gone. She always communicates promptly and honestly. She also always showed up in the time frame we needed or early. We definitely will be booking Sienna again!”

Kelly is amazing. My pups are pretty quirky girls and she works perfectly w them. Her communication is top tier and puts me at ease when having to leave the pups. Weather was bad on this last one and she worked ro make sure I knew and made sure the girls were ok. Thank you !

Emily has been so great with our babies! We have a sweet senior and a very playful puppy. She has been a great help for us. Both me and my husband work full time jobs and have a pretty busy schedule. Emily has definitely relieved a lot of our worries by being able to give our babies potty and playtime breaks at very random times and days. We will most definitely continue to reach out to her. Thanks Emily!

Sydney has been a fantastic pet sitter for our cat, Chester, while we were away for a week. She followed all of our instructions carefully, took great care of him, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We also returned to find our home in excellent condition. We truly appreciate her reliability and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Carly took great care of our new puppy Remy. He is definitely high energy and deep in him shark phase. But that did not phase her. Our old lady Gemma is a sweetheart and Carly also gave her some love and attention. Will most definitely be contacting Carly again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure my dog felt comfortable and loved. I received regular updates and photos, which meant so much to me. It’s clear she treats every pet like her own. Highly recommend!

Kimberly was great with our cats! She was always on time, sent us photos, and kept us updated with any changes. She was very attentive with giving medication to our one cat and adjusted her approach until she accepted the medicine. Would 1000% recommend Kimberly!!!
If you need someone that’s truly gonna treat your puppies like his own then you need to look no further! He made sure to follow all of our instructions to a T and even when we had some last-minute changes was quick to adapt! 100/10 book now you won’t regret it!

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
