Pet care fits beautifully into my daily routine because I’m a stay-at-home wife and attend school online, which gives me plenty of flexibility and free time. I’m home most of the day, so the pets I care for get constant attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of love — not just quick check-ins. I’m able to build my schedule around each pet’s needs, whether that’s morning routines, midday walks, medication times, or evening cuddle sessions. Because I’m not rushing off to an office or away for long hours, your pet gets the consistency and supervision they deserve. In my home, pets are never an afterthought — they’re part of my day. And yes, they usually become part of my heart too.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first in my care. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I follow your routines and instructions closely so your pet feels relaxed, secure, and right at home. At the moment, I don’t have any pets or children, which means your pet gets my full attention in a calm, quiet environment. My home is very spacious — it’s essentially an entire home just for the pets I’m caring for. There’s plenty of room to move around, relax, and play without feeling crowded or overwhelmed. I keep everything clean, pet-safe, and free of hazards, and I’m very careful with doors, leashes, feeding, and supervision. When walking dogs, I use secure leashes and stay alert to keep them safe at all times. In your home, I treat your space with respect and stick closely to your pet’s normal routine so they stay comfortable and happy. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease, and for your pet to feel loved, safe, and right at home.

Information Marcela P. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, it’s helpful for me to know a few key things so I can give them the best possible experience. This includes their daily routine — feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits, and any special comforts they like (favorite bed, blanket, or toy). I also like to know about their personality and energy level: Are they shy or social? High-energy or more laid-back? Do they get anxious in new environments? This helps me adjust my approach so they feel safe and comfortable from day one. If your pet has any medical needs, dietary restrictions, or medications, please let me know in detail so I can follow your instructions carefully. It’s also important for me to know how they behave around other people, dogs, or in different environments. Most of all, I want to understand what makes your pet feel happy and secure — because when they feel good, you can relax knowing they’re in caring hands.

A typical day

A typical day with your pet is all about routine, fun, and lots of affection. I start the morning with a calm potty break and fresh water, followed by breakfast at whatever time you normally feed them. After that, we’ll usually go for a gentle walk or have some outdoor playtime so they can stretch their legs, explore, and burn a little energy. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and one-on-one attention. If your pet enjoys play, we’ll do games like fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys. For pets who prefer to relax, we’ll have quiet time together — lounging, resting, or just hanging out nearby so they feel safe and company. If your pet needs training reinforcement, mental stimulation, or medication, I’ll follow your guidance closely and keep everything consistent with their normal routine. In the afternoon, we’ll fit in another walk or play session, followed by more chill time inside. Evenings are usually calm — dinner, a final potty break, and some wind-down time before bed. My goal is for your pet to feel happy, comfortable, and loved all day long, not bored or lonely. Basically: walks, play, snuggles, structure, and a lot of heart.

Safe, Sweet, Reliable Care

Pet care experience

I genuinely care about the pets I look after. I don’t just “watch” animals — I build a bond with them. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and little quirks, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. I have experience caring for playful puppies who need patience and consistency, as well as senior dogs who need a little extra tenderness, slower walks, or help with medications. I’m especially good with pets that are shy, anxious, or adjusting to new environments — I move at their pace and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I’m very detail-oriented with feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, and special instructions, and I always keep pet parents in the loop with updates and photos. You’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing — you’ll know they’re being cared for with love and attention. Your pet will be treated like part of my family, not just another booking. 🐾

Marcela watched my dog Maisie for 5 days and did a fantastic job. She sent pics and videos everyday and kept me informed on how maisie was eating, sleeping and coping with being some where new. She answered all questions quickly and was available to txt the entire time. Maisie seemed to have a blast with the other dog she was watching as well. She gave maisie lots of outdoor play and run time as she is high energy. Maisie came home happy and I could tell was well taken care of. I would recommend Marcela to other dog owners as she is very attentive and loving to your dog. Thank you Marcela!

Marcela did a fabulous job taking care of Chesty while I was out of town. She always kept me informed, asked questions when needed, and showed genuine attention and care for him. Could not have asked for a better sitter. Will definitely seek her services again!
