“Jordyn is awesome! She is so responsible and communicative. Our dog takes a bit to warm up to new friends and he loves Jordyn! Plus she always snaps the cutest pictures for the report card at the end of the visit!”

“Janice did a great job looking in on my cat Max when I had to go out of town for a week. She sent daily photos of Max being brushed, being fed and the condition of the litter box. The cost was very reasonable. I will have no hesitation booking her again.”

“Lizzie was awesome (as usual). We went away for eight days and ended up getting stuck in Mexico an extra night and she bailed us out and covered an extension for her visits.”

“I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! My babies were so well loved while I was out of town. I got pictures and updates every day. Jingyi was a consummate professional and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!”

“Natasha is awesome! She has great communication, is so sweet and accommodating, and I feel at ease trusting her to drop in to check on my cat. I'll be booking her again!”

About: I grew up taking care of all types of pets in my own home and for friends. Reptiles, fur babies, farm animals, and aquatics. I currently have my own cat, lizard, and turtle. Evening care or overnight stays work best with my regular schedule. If given at least a week's notice, I can adjust my availability to any time of day. I am happy to either stop by for a walk and play time or spend some extended quality time with your pets. I understand that every pet has its own needs, so leave me instructions with as much detail as you want and I will follow them to a T!
About: The Highest Quality In Home Dog Care! My heart is so happy when I have a dog to love on and care for. I come from a family of dog lovers and have always had a dog in our home since I was a baby. Almost two years ago my fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 and I really miss caring for him. I work from home, and would love to take care of your dog while you are at work or on a trip. I understand that it can be nerve wracking for you and your fur baby when you have to leave, and I can assure you that I will make their safety and well being my top priority. I also have experience with elderly dogs and administering medication. **I require a meet and greet before booking with new families. This is so important for all of us so we can make sure we are a good fit, you can see where your pup will be staying, and they can sniff around. -All dogs are required to be vaccinated and on a flea/tick medication. **I NEVER take more than 1 family/booking at a time!** I work from home and have plenty of time for cuddles, and play time. We can do walks as often as 3 times a day (weather/heat permitting), and lots of potty breaks. I am also available most weekends. We have a fully fenced and secure back yard with grass. It is just my husband and I living in the home, with no children present. **I NEVER take more than one pup/family at a time!** I will not take your dog to a dog park, or try to do a new physical activity. If your dog is not crate trained, that is okay. However, they must not be destructive.
“Clara was amazing at making sure sky was well taken care of and stimulated every time she came over! She was patient when she first met him, and understanding of his needs because he has trouble being around new people but Clara had no issues with it and was able to find a way to work with him. If you have a fur baby or pet that needs special care and attention, Clara is the person to hire! Always took pictures and was respectful of the space. 10/10 would highly recommend!”

“I am very thankful to Camaryn and Jonathan for the love and care they provided to Gary and Lacey during my long trip! After each visit I received photos and videos of my kitties, plus an update on their food levels and random hairballs that were found and cleaned up. Camaryn and Jonathan gave a lot of love and head scratches to my gentle Gary and it warmed my heart. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a sitter and I will reach out to them again for my next trip!”

Natasha takes great care of my dog and cat! My dog Barry is starting to really take to her, and he gets excited when she comes over! Ari, our cat, also seems very intrigued and happy to see Natasha on each visit. I will continue to use Natasha’s pet sitting for sure!!!

Becky has been absolutely amazing with my hounds, Levi & Leo. As a veterinarian working long hours, I worry about leaving them behind — but Becky always puts my mind completely at ease. She sends the best pictures and updates, so I can actually see how happy and loved they are while I’m gone. It’s clear they get lots of love (not just checked on!), and that means the world to me. I always come home to two relaxed, content pups and am so grateful for the thoughtful, attentive care she gives them. I truly couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter & highly recommend! 🐾💛

We are new to the area and needed help with our dog. We have never used a pet walker/sitter before, but Sarah has been a lifesaver! Our dog LOVES her visits and walks. She share pics and gives us feedback on how he's doing each visit. She even washed his bowls, and my morning coffee cup last time she was here. She's Amazing!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Allen. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
