My care experience for pets started when I was five back on a farm in Arkansas when I got my first kitten I named Baby. She did Everything with me! I’ve had many different kinds of pets from gerbils to rabbits, dogs and cats and even a cow named Fred. I’ve cared for many breeds of dogs over the years, including Dachshund, Yorkshire terrier, Greyhound, Shih Tzu, Boxer, Rottweiler, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Great Dane and many mixed breed mutts that have been some of the best pups I’ve ever had. I believe in rescuing pets as there are so many that need a loving home. I’ve also had many different short and long haired breeds of cats throughout my life, including a special bonded pair with disabilities. I think every pet has their own special personality and relationship with their person and I believe all pet parents want the same thing… Someone they can trust to take care and love their babies as much as they do while they’re away. As a pet parent myself, I understand it can feel impossible, as no one knows your pet as well as you do, which is why I feel it’s very important to meet your pet ahead of time to see their personality, go over specifics in addition to special needs and any other expectations. I want to build a trust relationship with my clients so they are confident they are getting the care they expect for their beloved pets.

I do have a fenced in backyard for pups that are friendly with other small dogs as I have a male Shorkie that absolutely loves playtime with any size dogs. I can provide daily walks or play dates as well.

Pamela was absolutely amazing! From our initial meet and greet, we immediately felt comfortable knowing our three cats would be in great hands. She took such wonderful care of them and truly went above and beyond—not only caring for our cats, but also bringing in our mail and even taking care of our trash cans on trash day. This was our first time using Rover, and Pamela made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. It gave us such peace of mind while we were away knowing our cats and home were being so well cared for. We will absolutely be using her again and couldn’t recommend her enough!

Pam was amazing once again! This was our second time booking with her, and we couldn't be happier. Our cat is usually very shy and rarely comes out for anyone, but with Pam, she came out to eat, took treats from her hand, and seemed so comfortable. That meant so much to us and really showed how patient, kind, and caring she is. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and treats them with so much love. We always felt at ease knowing our cat was in such good hands. Thank you so much, Pam! We truly appreciate everything you do. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful cat sitter!
Pamela and Matt took wonderful care of our two kitties. We received great updates on the check-ins and they made sure all their needs and special quirks were addressed. They were also very gracious to accommodate some unavoidable travel changes. We were so happy with their care. Such amazing pet sitters!
Pam is THE BEST! Super attentive, on time for every visit, and provided the same love and care for my cats as I do. She really treated them as if they were her own. My senior girl had to be medicated twice every day and Pam came through each time. I never had to worry about her health while she was in her care. Can’t thank Pam enough for an stress-free vacation!
Pam was so great to work with. We presented her with a five dog challenge and she exceeded our expectations! She provided lots of pictures and gave a great narrative of the stay’s happenings. All the pups loved her and we knew they were in great care with her. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Programa
I am currently working my primary job during the week during the day and am available for both morning visits until 7:30 AM and evening visits after 5:30pm M– F, as well as all day availability on weekends! Also, my partner, Matt Knippenberg, is a Rover sitter and we team up together when needed! He is available any time of day throughout the summer, which gives our pet parent clients plenty of options for availability between the two of us! Whether it’s weekdays or weekends, daily visits, walking or a play date, all requests are welcomed. 🐶 💞🐱
