“Kenzie was fantastic! We were gone about 2 1/2 days and had zero doubt that our dogs would be cared for. They loved her the moment she walked in for a meet and greet. Every time she came, she took photos of them for us and they were so happy. We will be using Kenzie again.”

About: I provide dependable, personalized care with genuine compassion, excellent communication, attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to treating every pet like family, every day. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. I prioritize reliability, maintain a flexible schedule, and ensure pets receive consistent, attentive care every single day. I follow client instructions carefully, maintain routines, provide feeding, fresh water, exercise, companionship, medication when needed, and keep pets safe, comfortable, happy, and stress free.

“Thanks for watching our dogs!!! Katie is great, one of our dogs can be verrrryy difficult with strangers and she handled it so well and was petting him by the next day! Would recommend 😃”

“Kayla is wonderful! Very sweet and patient with both of my pups (7 y/o shepherd mix and 15.5 y/o Bichon). Took on the little bit of extra care my older dog needed too! On time to all visits and kept me posted with everything going on and some very cute pics. You can tell they were happy and well taken care of! Highly recommend!”
About: Hello Pet parents! I’m here to offer you peace of mind while you’re away for personal / professional commitments. I try my best to understand each pet by communicating with you on constant message exchanges .It does help a lot to feel pet comfort. For initial bonding I go to small frequent walk which helps them to take water/ food/ rest and slowly help them to adjust around every one. I learn each pet's schedule from the owner and follow through, which helps me and the pets adjust. The first two days are required to learn and create that adjustment. I prefer a good-quality harness and leash for safe walking. I prefer that they sleep in a crate/playpen if they are comfortable and do not bark. If a dog is not trained and the accident happened despite scheduled walks, a Playpen/Crate is necessary.
“Clara was amazing at making sure sky was well taken care of and stimulated every time she came over! She was patient when she first met him, and understanding of his needs because he has trouble being around new people but Clara had no issues with it and was able to find a way to work with him. If you have a fur baby or pet that needs special care and attention, Clara is the person to hire! Always took pictures and was respectful of the space. 10/10 would highly recommend!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and in college I looked after my roommates' and friends dogs of all sizes and temperaments ranging from pomeranians to german shepherds. I've also housesat pets for extended periods of time. I'm currently freelancing, so I have ample time to look after and entertain your pets! I'm available on weekdays to housesit from 8am to 6pm! On the weekends, I can walk your pets or even take them out for a couple of hours weather permitting. I will ensure that your pet is taken care of just like how you would care for them! I am very proactive regarding communication, both positive and negative, and I make sure to ask clarifying questions if I have any doubts to ensure I understand the pet's needs and requirements! I live in the suburbs so my environment is very quiet, however I do not have a fenced backyard so I would prefer not to host any pets unless they are mostly indoor animals.
“I am very thankful to Camaryn and Jonathan for the love and care they provided to Gary and Lacey during my long trip! After each visit I received photos and videos of my kitties, plus an update on their food levels and random hairballs that were found and cleaned up. Camaryn and Jonathan gave a lot of love and head scratches to my gentle Gary and it warmed my heart. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a sitter and I will reach out to them again for my next trip!”

“Tiffany took great care of our pets while we were gone. She even brought in packages while we were away. Our cats were happy to see us when we came home. She is professional and she knows how to take care of our fur family. Thank you Tiffany.”

“Becky has been absolutely amazing with my hounds, Levi & Leo. As a veterinarian working long hours, I worry about leaving them behind — but Becky always puts my mind completely at ease. She sends the best pictures and updates, so I can actually see how happy and loved they are while I’m gone. It’s clear they get lots of love (not just checked on!), and that means the world to me. I always come home to two relaxed, content pups and am so grateful for the thoughtful, attentive care she gives them. I truly couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter & highly recommend! 🐾💛”

My part-time schedule is flexible and can be adjusted for bookings when needed. I offer house sitting in the client’s home, where I stay overnight and care for your pets in their familiar environment. During house sitting stays, I follow your pet’s normal routine including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. On weekdays, I may be away during work hours (8 AM–4 PM), but I return immediately after work to continue care and maintain consistency for your pets. I also provide regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. Service Areas: Allen, McKinney, and Plano I’m committed to keeping your pets comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I care for pets in the client’s home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are always secured, and I double-check all entry points to keep pets safe at all times. I also monitor pets closely for behavior changes, stress, or health concerns and will immediately communicate with the owner if anything seems unusual. If the home has a fenced yard, I use it for safe outdoor time and supervised play. When outside, pets are always monitored and never left unattended. I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean and following all house rules. My goal is to provide a calm, reliable, and trustworthy environment so both pets and owners feel completely at ease.
“This is the first time using a pet sitting service. Marty/Marshall were very accommodating and Bailey seemed very happy when we came home. Her skin was not as red as it is when she returns from the kennels.”

“Braylee came to care for our outdoor cat and spent time calling for her and sitting with her while she eats. She was great with her communication and provided many pictures to keep us updated while out of town. We looked forward to the updates daily.”

“So grateful I found Joe! My new cat had never been left alone and I refused to board him. I was nervous and wasn’t sure how’d he handle another big change in schedule so soon. Joe made me far more comfortable, he was always on time, my cat even went to the front door around the time Joe would come so he was obviously comfortable as well. I will absolutely be asking him back when needed.”

“Calvin and his wife were absolutely fantastic. They took excellent care of my little fur baby for four days. I’ll definitely be using their services again, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of pet care.”

“Kiera was amazing with my babies. She updated me with notes and pictures every time she went to see them. They both seemed to really like her. Will be rebooking with her next time I need someone to look after them again.”

“Absolutely appreciated Zachary for pet sitting while we got to see our son graduate Marine boot camp. 13 weeks went by slow and at the same time fast, so knowing he was there to care for our fur babies put us at ease. Great check in and photos every visit. Highly recommend!”

“We have used Shaira for about two years now and she has always been reliable, gone the extra mile, and provided great feedback and care for our cats. We highly recommend her to anyone who is considering a pet sitter.”

Alexis took care of my 2 cats and she did a wonderful job! She was very attentive and left me a summary of each visit as well as many cute photos! She was always on time and I would absolutely rebook with her! I highly recommend Alexis if you’re looking for someone to take amazing care of your babies!

Our cats are very shy with strangers but Garrett & Jessia understood and did not force an interaction. They waited until our cats were ready for attention and checked in on them daily while we were on vacation. They are the first pet sitters we have ever had and we will definitely be booking again!

Natasha takes great care of my dog and cat! My dog Barry is starting to really take to her, and he gets excited when she comes over! Ari, our cat, also seems very intrigued and happy to see Natasha on each visit. I will continue to use Natasha’s pet sitting for sure!!!

Rachelle cared for our kitten and two senior cats while we were in Japan. We were able to relax and enjoy our time away because of the confidence we had in her care. She was communicative, flexible when an ice storm changed our travel days, and gave our cats lots of love. We will definitely book with Rachelle again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
