“This was my first time using Rover. Britney responded quickly to messages, was punctual with visits, and, most importantly my pets seemed to love her. Will use again.”

“Becky has been absolutely amazing with my hounds, Levi & Leo. As a veterinarian working long hours, I worry about leaving them behind — but Becky always puts my mind completely at ease. She sends the best pictures and updates, so I can actually see how happy and loved they are while I’m gone. It’s clear they get lots of love (not just checked on!), and that means the world to me. I always come home to two relaxed, content pups and am so grateful for the thoughtful, attentive care she gives them. I truly couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter & highly recommend! 🐾💛”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and love getting to know every pup’s unique personality! I’m experienced in basic training and provide loving, attentive care. I’m deaf and use American Sign Language to communicate, but I can speak a little too—your pets will always be in patient, understanding hands 💛 My schedule for summer is super flexible and I will be able to have plenty of time to give your fur babies the best experience of their life 😆 I love hanging out and giving the cuddles! I am happy to housesit your place which means I can come and stay at your place to take care of your fur kiddos! Just need to be aware that I will have to step out sometimes to take care of my own fur kiddos and sometimes will have shifts to work. I always make sure to take care of the animals first before I head out.
“I’m so grateful to have found Lucy as a sitter! She’s even able to snap great pics of my shyer kitten, and my kitties don’t seem mad at me at all for leaving them when I return home :)”
About: I've taken care of multiple types of dogs from an early age. I also used to have a dog named Gary (my brother named him from SpongeBob) when I was younger, but my mom couldn't afford him anymore. During school breaks, pet care fits very easily into my routine because I have a much more open and flexible schedule. I’m able to prioritize regular feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day without time constraints from classes. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, maintain their routines, and be fully present while caring for them. I think that it's important to spend quality time with pets, whether that's going on a walk or spending time at the park. And also just following the pet owner's instructions as well as understanding their routine.

“Sydney was awesome! She asked questions to make sure our cat was getting the best care and was extremely attentive to our cat’s needs. She completed care that we didn’t even ask her to do because that’s how thorough and thoughtful she is! We will definitely be booking with Sydney again. Our cat wasn’t even mad we left, haha”

“Janice did a great job looking in on my cat Max when I had to go out of town for a week. She sent daily photos of Max being brushed, being fed and the condition of the litter box. The cost was very reasonable. I will have no hesitation booking her again.”

“I requested a drop-in very last minute and Ericka was more than willing to come drop-in on my two dogs. She was prompted and very detailed throughout the drop-in. I appreciate her and her son being very patient with my Chihuahua as he’s very skittish with new people. Would definitely recommend Ericka and book with her again.”

“Jaclyn was punctual, attentive, and so kind to our animals (2 cats, 1 dog. And a turtle). Her updates kept me feeling good about our choice, as this was the first time our dog stayed home over a vacation (we used to just kennel, and he can be alot). She loved on our kitties and played with our pup to help his energetic self happy, she even hand fed him when he protested by not eating. Will definitely use again!”

“Blake was awesome taking care of Finn while we were away! She was punctual for all scheduled visits and very responsive to any requests or messages. Blake gave very detailed updates with lots of pics of our pup. She did a great job engaging with Finn, taking him for a walk for every visit, playing with him, petting him, etc. Blake was very sweet and generally took great care of our dog for the entirety of our vacation. I would highly recommend and will gladly rebook with her in the future!”

Sydney was awesome! She asked questions to make sure our cat was getting the best care and was extremely attentive to our cat’s needs. She completed care that we didn’t even ask her to do because that’s how thorough and thoughtful she is! We will definitely be booking with Sydney again. Our cat wasn’t even mad we left, haha

Lucy went above and beyond what I expected. My kitties were very upset I left and would hide under my bed when she showed up, but she made sure they had fresh food and water, even crawled on the floor and sent me pictures of them daily. I will definitely use her again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Highly Recommend! Sheienne and Andy went above and beyond taking care of Ollie for 21 days, and I couldn’t be more grateful. While I was in Europe, they stayed in constant communication with me via text, keeping me updated and giving me total peace of mind the entire time. Sheienne is truly an animal whisperer—absolutely amazing with Ollie. My cat typically gravitates more toward women than men, so it was no surprise that he eventually took so well with her, but I was beyond happy with the level of care, attention, and love he received from both of them. They treated Ollie like he was their own, and it genuinely shows. I would not hesitate to book them again and highly recommend Sheienne/Andy to anyone looking for exceptional, trustworthy pet care. 🐾💙

Amelia was amazing with my two cats, Milo and Bella. She took great care of them by feeding them, cleaning the litter box, and spending time playing with them, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. One of my cats is very shy and I left specific instructions for how to handle that, and Amelia followed everything perfectly. It was clear she was attentive, patient, and truly cared about my pets. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.

Vanessa did a great job taking care of our cats Bova and Cosmo. Food and litter box were well maintained through out our vacation. She took some time to comb them too. One of my cats is very sceptical and actually warmed up to her after several days and started making appearance. Would highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
