“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”

About: I will take care of your fur babies like they are my own children. I’ve taken care of Dogs/cat since I was 11. I’m a country girl but also a girl that doesn’t play about my pets. I also take their opinion on others pretty seriously if they are extremely uncomfortable. Usually when my pets felt uncomfortable around someone that they’ve known for a while, I would keep them close to me or away from that person. Ive had 4 dogs and 1 cat which I had her when she was a kitten. I love animals like they are my child. I’m more of a dog lover than cat but the way I spoil my pets if it’s with me I love them equally but I’m team dog if I had to pick one. I’m good with all size dogs. I’m a small petite woman so for some reason bigger dogs are like big babies but protect me and the small dogs are the boss. I also have experience bathing and dressing them up. I love to get my pets cute. I sometimes cook gourmet pet meals like rice and plain unseasoned meat that dogs/ cats can eat (it’s very limited due to most foods being dangerous for them) or something to make them feel special. Call it boujee but my pets are my friends they are going to get spoiled. I have toys as well as a back balcony. I live at an apartment that has a dog wash station as well as a dog park. I love to walk any chance I get so we will be going on lots of walks at my apartment which has a neighborhood and parks next to it. Availability is currently open due to me being in college. But picking up or dog sitting in your home is limited because I do work from Home 8-5 m-f. Please provide 2 day advance notice when booking. I have a set schedule for work however if I know in advance I can plan in advance. SAFETY - I keep a close eye on behaviors and health and will let you know if I think something is even the tiniest bit off. In the home and car I am very careful about entering and exiting and making sure no foreign objects are ingested. Hygiene is very important to me so my hands are washed or sanitized between houses and visits. Dogs are never off lead unless in a fenced backyard or dog park. I do not allow meets with other dogs on walks as you just never know what can happen.

About: I have worked at a veterinary hospital as a surgical assistant in the past to fulfill my passion for helping animals. I throughly enjoyed the medical aspect of working at the hospital and crave personal interactions with clients and pets. I can not remember ever having less than three pets at one time while growing up (as my family is just as passionate about animals as I am). About: Ohana means family! We care for your fur baby like our own Ohana. We traveled often when we lived in Hawaii so we didn’t have any pets of our own but we often pet sit a cute chihuahua when her mommy had to work off island or over night. We had her at least 2 weeks a month overnight for a year. She was the joy of our lives. She got lots of love and attention from myself and my three kids. She had free run of the livingroom and enclosed porch. She went for 20 minute walks 2x’s per day, weather permitting, and ate 2 meals a day with snacks in between. About: I grew up with dogs and recently potty trained our 2-year-old puppy! About: Do you have experience with young dogs, old dogs, dogs with special needs, dogs on medication and dogs needing lots of love and exercise. We love to play in this house and are very engaged with your pet. We have two doggy doors and 3 years experience. We are an active family and are willing to play, comfort, and make your pet feel at home. We are looking for pets that have no hostility or history of abuse but rather are comfortable with children. We have experience with all sizes of dogs up to Italian Mastif sized. It would be a blessing to help watch your furry family member. Must love long walks in the grass and running about. Party of 5 We are an active, family-oriented household, and someone is home most of the time, which allows us to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. We love getting outside for walks and activities, but we're just as happy spending quiet time giving belly rubs and snuggles. Your pet will be treated like part of the family and will receive lots of love, care, and companionship while you're away. Providing a safe, loving, and low-stress environment is my top priority. For dogs staying in our home, we have a secure, board-on-board fenced backyard with locked gates and a doggy door that allows them safe access to the outdoors for potty breaks and play. Because someone is home most of the time, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. For cats, we create a calm and enriching environment with cozy spaces to relax, plenty of areas to explore, and windows where they can enjoy watching the world go by. I understand that every cat has a different personality, so I take the time to follow their individual routines and comfort levels. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their established schedules and routines to help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. Whether it's feeding, walks, litter box maintenance, medications, playtime, or lots of affection, I care for every pet as though they were one of my own.

“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
