“Allison was able to care for my pups last minute . She usually requires a meet and greet before the process begins with sitting but she made an exception for me due to the situation. I was in another city and couldn’t get care due to another sitter issue . I couldn’t enjoy my trip and was in literal tears. She accepted the offer and came through . She cared for my pups and I was so glad . I felt so much better knowing that they were cared for . Thank you so much !”

About: Please read before booking! I’ve worked at a vet clinic as a kennel tech/vet assistant/vet tech for about 3 years and I love all animals! I especially have lots of experience in pet boarding, with both cats and dogs, including feeding, taking them out for walks, and making sure they’re happy :) I’m currently a student at the University of North Texas, and most of my classes are online, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I only have a few short in-person classes throughout the week, leaving me with plenty of time for pet care, walks, playtime, and giving your pets lots of attention! I make sure your home is as exactly as you left it! If you leave directions/instructions for feeding and caring, you won’t need to worry about if something was left out as all my attention will be on your fur babies!
“Andrea helped me by stopping in for a visit for my dog that has special needs and needs medication while I was in town for a wedding. She was very kind and responsive. I am incredibly grateful to have found her.”

“Addison was absolutely wonderful! She came and let out my golden doodle Charlie for a last minute trip out of town. She went above and beyond making sure he had a walk/exercise. She came and met Charlie before the visit time, which made us all more comfortable! I will definitely ask her to watch him again :)”

“Kaitlin takes the best care of our cat whenever we’re out of town! I am always so worried about leaving my cat, but kaitlin makes it less stressful and worrisome! It also helps that our cat loves her!”

“Ellie is awesome we appreciate the clear communication and fast response! Chuck gave Ellie 2 paws up when we got home and asked how it went, he appreciated the snacks, water, and attention. Ellie helped us out in a pinch with our old sitter abruptly exited the game. We will be booking with Ellie in the future! JD”

“Appreciate you so much Abby! Teddy was provided the best care possible and it sure made our time away from him that much more enjoyable!! 100% trust that you will always do what is best for Teddy, no matter what needs arise. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts (especially Teddy)!!!!”

“We needed a dog sitter last minute and Kathleen came to the rescue!! She was so accommodating in meeting quickly and doing a meet and greet with our dog Riley who instantly enjoyed her presence. Kathleen is also such a great communicator! She sent 13 photos and left a note about her visit. We honestly lucked out with Kathleen as she’s also very nurturing/caring with Riley’s health needs. We highly recommend her and will be using her again in the near future!”

“I can’t recommend Tanna highly enough! She took amazing care of my dog while I was away, and I came home to a happy, relaxed pup. From the start, communication was clear, friendly, and consistent. She provided updates, photos, that gave me peace of mind throughout the stay. My dogs clearly felt comfortable and well-loved in her care. Tanna followed all instructions carefully and went above and beyond by giving extra playtime and attention. It’s obvious she truly cares about animals and treat them like family. If you're looking for someone reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring, Tanna is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! --- Let me know if you'd like it to be more casual, humorous, or personalized with specific details.”

“Jess was awesome! She took great care of our pet and provided great updates while we were away. It was such a relief to know our furry family member was in good hands while we were away. Jess is our go-to pet sitter from here on out!”

“Destani was very responsive to messages and always made sure to respond very quickly. She did a great job watching our cat while we were away and made sure to send pictures and give updates with every visit. I was thankful to have her as a pet sitter, she even made sure to keep up with the scheduled visits despite a tropical storm happening! I will definitely book her in the future when needed.”

“Vicky was so communicative and thorough before and during her care for Cléo. Thank you so much for taking good care of her for us and accommodating a very last minute request!! We appreciate you 🥰🥰”

“Braylee came to care for our outdoor cat and spent time calling for her and sitting with her while she eats. She was great with her communication and provided many pictures to keep us updated while out of town. We looked forward to the updates daily.”

About: I have had dogs nearly my entire life. And a variety of other pets sporadically, like fish, hamsters guinnea pigs and others. I have also been blessed to have been a rescue foster and the reward of helping heal thier emotional and physical health and finding their Furever homes. I understand pets are family. I work from home FT so most availability is evenings and weekends. If you are super close by, I may be able to dropins during the week days. I am comfortable with all sizes ( we have 3 dogs 50-120 lbs) and do respect your training protocols. I always check the fences and gates before letting them out in the yard.
About: Hi, my name is Jack! I’m a 20 year old college student with 10 years of pet care experience (9 years free-lance pet care and 1 year at a doggy daycare), including caring for my 13 year old terrier rescue, Trixie, two cats, and a dozen fish. So, as you can tell, I REALLY love animals. Your dog will receive premium care when you use my services. I will provide water on the walks, breaks if your dog needs it, and anything else you desire! For drop-ins, I’ll play your dogs game(s) of choice, rearrange the blankets in their crate (if crates), clean up any accidents (if not crated), and wash out and refill their food and water bowls. Additionally, short-to-medium (depending on length) walks will be provided on request! Please consider me for your pet sitter or dog walker, I promise you & your dog(s) will not be disappointed. I am a 3rd year student currently seeking to do pet sitting and dog walking on the side during the school year. I am available full days on weekends and most of the mornings and evenings each weekday (my classes are all midday). I value sticking to routine as it makes the pet(s) most comfortable. I have a consistent and caring approach to pet care that allows pets to feel as calm as possible while their owners are away.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and hands-on experience in veterinary and animal care, including working as a veterinary assistant, raising FFA animals, working as a kennel tech, fostering animals, and caring for my own pets. Through my experience, I’ve cared for animals with a variety of ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable administering oral and injectable medications, caring for senior and special-needs pets, following detailed care instructions, and recognizing when something about a pet’s behavior or routine seems different. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to learn their routine and personality. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime and enrichment, medication and extra attention, or simply a calm companion while you’re away, my goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I work full time but I care for pets before and after work as well as on my breaks. I am available all day on weekends. There is plenty of space for your pet in my home including a backyard area. It is pet proofed and quiet. There are lots of walking areas in my neighborhood as well.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Frisco
Morgan took such great care of our cat while we were away for more than a week. She came by before our trip to meet us, spend time with our cat, and go over all of the care instructions. While we were gone, she was always on time, kept our home clean, and sent regular updates and pictures so we always knew our kitty was doing well. It was obvious she gave our cat lots of love and attention, and when we got home, our cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. The best part was that we never had to worry while we were away. It's not easy to find someone you can truly trust with your home and your pet, and Morgan is absolutely that person. We'll definitely be booking her again, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter. Your pets will be in great hands!
Nicole is someone I TRUST with my cats!!! She took the time to meet them, understand their needs and nuances as my older orange ladies are snowflakes - no one else is like them. Jokes aside, she communicated with me so clearly and perfectly for me to feel comfortable about my ladies when we were far from home. Nicole’s care, time, and natural animal love shines through in what she did for our ladies

Madi is amazing, I am so excited to call on her again soon. She went above and beyond to care for our kittens while we were far away and the reassurance she gave was so helpful. She also helped clean up and do some odd chores for us around the house and we are so grateful. My cats are normally very shy but she made them feel safe and gave them so much attention and love. Thankyou Madi!!!!!

I am so grateful for the care and attention you gave my fur baby while I was away! You are reliable, kind, and very attentive, making sure my cat was fed and happy every day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in such good hands. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I highly recommend and my cat will be seeing you again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Frisco. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
