“Vincent took amazing care of Bentley! I needed someone to stop by to let my puppy out and he had so much fun with Vincent! If you need someone to watch your dog Vincent is the perfect guy!”

“Our dogs love Ximena! I’m so happy we found someone who is so reliable and caring to take care of them. We will absolutely book with her again-she is absolutely wonderful!”

“Will definitely be using this family again. They were very accommodating to my constant changes and even made few suggestions on the schedule which were the best options. They were always on time and great to communicate with.”
“Casandra is great with our cats, giving lots of updates and feedback on how they're doing during her checkins and even going above what we've asked her to do ☺️”

“Brianna could not have been better with sitting for Alley. I was completely convinced that she would hide from Brianna as she does with everybody, but Brianna was able to get her to come out and play and it really gave me tons of peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her!”

“This was the first time I used Mary to take care of our cat (Charley) and she will now be my go-to kitty sitter! She not only did she go above and beyond tending to our spoiled cat’s routines, but she took the time to take photos and videos of Charley during her daily visits and sent them to me! Thank you, Mary!”

“Hailey was very patient and understanding with my dogs. They are a tough bunch so when I had to go out of town and leave them for a few days, I was worried about not being able to find the right fit. Hailey really took a weight off my shoulders.”

“Great communication, natural with pets as she won over our skittish fur baby Oreo without needing to meet him prior to us leaving. Definitely at the top of the list for us and will actually be our go to person! Thank you so much Sooyoung!”

“Stacy is one of the best sitters we’ve ever had. We could tell our animals were spoiled and loved on while we were away! We are so thankful! We also got a good chuckle from some of her notes about our fur babies! Would 10/10 hire again!”

“isabel was so kind and patient with my dogs, especially my reactive chihuahua. she’s also very trustworthy and flexible to work with. i will continue to book her as long as she’s available! thank you.”

“Chelsie was amazing! She was able to care for our cats without any issues and even reached out to see if there was more she could do for our girls since the tasks were fairly quick. We will be booking her again!”

About: I have had cats since childhood and dogs in my adult years. My cats name and dog have lived peacefully together for the last ten years. Unfortunately, my senior dog passed away earlier this year. There are no dogs in my home at this time. I am home for most of the day. I am there to cuddle and walk or let out for potty breaks. I can also do drop ins for cats. I have a fenced in yard for safety and protection of your pets. I do have a cat that is mostly in the main bedroom each day.
About: I volunteered at animals shelter in college, I am the oldest of four children, and I have taken care of children ages 5 and up. I am a student and work part time on the weekends. I’m available Monday-Thursday before 11 am and after 1 pm. Friday-Sunday before 3 pm. If you have a list of specificities, great! Just let me know. I will provide every pet with care due to their needs and boundaries.
About: I’m a 14 year paramedic, wife, mom, auntie and grandma. I am the most ethical person you will meet who will love your pets like you do. I am great at picking up on pets energy and moods which will direct my interaction with them. I act based on their comfort level. I work prn and set my schedule a month or two ahead so I can make my schedule around my rover schedule. I am comfortable giving medications and had a brittle diabetic kitty. She got insulin twice a day, blood sugar checks frequently and eventually I placed an implantable glucose monitor on her. I’m not afraid of medically fragile animals and would be honored (as I am in my career) to give them the best care I can. Don’t let my lack of professional pet sitting experience scare you. Give me a try. I think you will be pleased. #serialsnootbooper I work prn and have a lot of days off that I have available and decided that I need more animals in my life. I have my own animals as well but have my husband available to take care of them while I’m with other animals. I have a large fenced back yard and they will have freedom in every room in my home. I give them fresh water every time I feed them and make sure their bowls are clean. I have a doodle who’s most favorite delicacy is socks, so my house is very much dog proofed for those who enjoy eating things they shouldn’t. Speaking of my doodle, Waffles and my cat, Gomez, they are super chill with other animals. They are around my 3 granddogs (my daughter has 2 and my son has 1) and nobody has ever bitten anybody or shown any signs of aggression. My doodle also travels with me and is out and about around people frequently.
About: I have had dogs nearly my entire life. And a variety of other pets sporadically, like fish, hamsters guinnea pigs and others. I have also been blessed to have been a rescue foster and the reward of helping heal thier emotional and physical health and finding their Furever homes. I understand pets are family. I work from home FT so most availability is evenings and weekends. If you are super close by, I may be able to dropins during the week days. I am comfortable with all sizes ( we have 3 dogs 50-120 lbs) and do respect your training protocols. I always check the fences and gates before letting them out in the yard.
“Hoa is AMAZING!! My dog is very hyper and he handled him perfectly!! He sent me so many videos and photos so I knew how my pup was doing!! I will definitely be booking Hoa in the future!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with dogs. I have experience working with different breed sizes and temperaments. I work from home, so I am always available through out the day to take the dog on walks or give play time and attention. I will keep an eye on your pup the whole time they are in my care, I have a crate if your dog needs it. I am also very active, so I will take your dog on lots of walks and adventures.

Ximena was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our two kitty cats and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. Sarah was absolutely amazing! We used Sarah as a pet sitter during fall break. She went above and beyond and provided regular updates after each visit. Her photos were absolutely amazing. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parvin. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
