About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of many different species, ages, and temperaments. Before moving, I regularly provided pet and house sitting for five different families each summer. Those households included dogs, cats, birds, lizards, geckos, snakes, turtles, fish, and other pets with detailed feeding, cleaning, and care routines. I currently continue to care for a large multi-pet household with both senior and young dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, freshwater and saltwater aquariums, exotic fish, crabs, seahorses, praying mantises, and numerous plants. I also have extensive experience caring for horses/farm animals, and worked as head equine manager for a therapy barn for two years, along with being a horse trainer for the past five years. At home, I have two dogs, seven cats, two horses, a miniature donkey, and chickens. One of my dogs is a Labrador, and the other is a mixed-breed dog I rescued from the side of the road. While I am not a veterinarian, this training strengthened my understanding of animal health, handling, safety, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. After working as a horse trainer for five years. That experience taught me how to remain calm, read body language, recognize signs of discomfort or anxiety, and adjust my approach to the individual animal. Those skills carry over directly to working with nervous, energetic, young, or unfamiliar pets. When caring for someone’s animals, I take both their pets and their home seriously. I follow feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions closely, keep pet areas clean, and provide regular photos and detailed updates. My goal is to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. Animals have always been a major part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I do not shy away from detailed instructions, multi-step care, unusual pets, or households with several animals. About: I have taken care of dogs for about 12 years and grew up with at least two dogs in the home at all times. Golden Retrievers, Pitbulls, Maltese, Catahoula, Labs, and Frenchies are the dogs I grew up with and I have dog say many times over the years for a many other dog breeds. I love cuddling with the pups, taking them on walks, playing tug o war, throwing the ball, and letting them sleep on the couch and bed. I currently work full time, with the ability to work from home some days and always remote Thursday, Friday, and am home through the weekends. About: I've grown up with animals of all kinds with different personalities and temperaments. I have moderate amounts of training knowledge. I love playing with animals and exercising with them. I work part-time and currently go to college full time. However, I'm very good at managing time to fit in taking out the animal, feeding, and playing with them during my day. My weekends are normally empty, so I can focus majority of my time and energy into the animal. I will ask for the animal's routine, where they are allowed/not allowed, when and what they eat, cleaning supplies area of the home, if there's specific training rules for them, and if the animal is injured in any way or prone to accidents.
