About: I’m a recently reformed pet lover! After adopting my puppy this year, I’ve become obsessed with all things dog — training, puppy development, and their unique personalities! Having just gone through the throes of potty training and working through obedience classes now, I’ve learned a thing or two about best practices! I’m currently freelancing, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pups! I can be available throughout the day and week as needed. I have one fur baby I can bring along with me if your pet needs a friend, and I’m comfortable crate training, working in your home, and spending time in the surrounding neighborhood.

“We have been blessed with some wonderful pet sitters, but Laurie is the best! She first came to stay with our dogs on short (really no) notice when I was out of town for work and my husband went into the hospital. She changed her plans for the day and came to stay with my 3 dogs. She was here for 5 days and sent me information and pictures daily on their activities and schedule. She gave them their vitamins and supplements consistently and on schedule, and fed them the way I do - adding water to the first kind of food and letting it sit and make gravy before adding the other kind of food, instead of the lazy, throw it all together in a bowl and put it in front of them method my husband uses! Laurie really knows what each of my dogs likes, and they adore her. She takes them outside and lets them play in the yard by the creek, and she even waters my plants while they play! She also came and took care of them last weekend - again on short notice. The short notice and change of plans isn't really my thing, but twice now, it's happened that way and Laurie stepped up like a champ to save the day. My puppies get super excited every time she shows up - dogs are amazing judges of character, right?!! I highly recommend Laurie for your furry, feathered or other animal family members. She will take fantastic care of them!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for over 15 years, and have been a Rover for 2 years. I have been trusted by family, friends, and clients to watch, feed, train, exercise, and care for their animals-canine and feline alike. I have a strong ability to read physical and psychological cues to ensure a balanced and safe interaction for everyone. I'm based out of Sanger but serve the entire northern metroplex area between 35 and 75. I'm currently working part-time hybrid so I am flexible with my scheduling and work from home most days. I cannot keep your pet in my house but I can drop in if it is a reasonable distance or stay overnight. I will strive to keep your fur baby's routine as much as possible and ensure boundaries (gates, crates, closed doors, etc) are maintained. We used a kennel in the past, and our pets would have extreme separation anxiety. Our little one doesn't have that with Cristina's personalized service. What a difference! Not only was our pet extremely well cared for, but we received daily updates, pics of our little Chiweenie having a great time, relaxing, and receiving a ton of attention. About: I have been around animals my entire life, have also been in 4-H as well. I have twins, so being around animals should be a lot like that (haha) Me and my kids love animals and are excited to care for and play with your dogs for you. My daughter has told me, that I’m a animal whisperer. I know as a mother to children and animals, that it’s hard to be away from them sometimes and it’s nice to know that they are being taken care of and well loved. Let me be that person for you while you are away. Let me run, and play with your dogs and give them scratches behind the ears and belly rubs. I love all types of dogs
