“Andrew and his family took care of our three dogs for a ~10-day period. They were very friendly when we met them to see if our dogs would get along, and took care of them well during the stay. They have three dogs of their own and all six dogs got along just fine. There's a lot of land at Andrew's place (it's a rural setting, with over an acre of fenced-in land I think) and the dogs can run freely. There's even a pool if they want to swim! We had to change our return date twice due to circumstances outside our control, and each time Andrew updated the booking accordingly. Recommended!! I'd highly recommend them if you want your dogs”

“Coordinating with Jingyi was very easy, it was a smooth drop off and pick up and she sent lots of pictures and was very responsive! Thanks so much for taking great care of our pups! Great space to play as well!”

“Trevor was communicative and friendly. My dog appeared to have a good time and he sent pictures, videos, and informative updates throughout his stay. I would recommend Trevor as a pet sitter.”

“This is my second time having Chery watch Missy. She was again accommodating and flexible with my time changes and responsive as always. Missy enjoyed her time with her dog, and Chery. Even though, I know it will take time for Missy to get comfortable, I can feel her energy likes to be around Chery. She is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks so much for your service! Definetly will keep her as my main contact for my dog.”

“I recently moved to McKinney and found Stephanie on Rover. She is one big dog lover and was so great with my Luna girl. Definitely recommend her to dog sit your fur baby.”

About: We are a dog loving family! With 3 kids (age 10+), your pet will have plenty of cuddles and playtime in the fully fenced backyard. We have one small dog, a (vaccinated) mini goldendoodle, who loves to play with other pets. Pets here are treated as part of the family and participate in family activities indoor and out. I work from home full-time and usually have a dog sleeping under my desk or in my office chair while I work. There is plenty of time for potty breaks, mid-day walks, and frisbee in the backyard. Pets are part of the family and are treated like one of the kids. They go outside only to play or potty, and are otherwise free to roam the entire downstairs of the house.
“Britney and her family were the best! I got pictures everyday and had no worries all weekend! She was awesome and Ava fit right in with her friendly pug! I definitely recommend her with flying colors! She will be my first choice for my next stay!”

“Our dogs had a great time with Debasish & Adrija! We met them in advance and our dogs felt very comfortable with them right away. They were very kind and helpful and gave great instructions to help our pups have the best stay. We got picture updates and help getting the dogs in and out. Very appreciative to them and would highly recommend them to others looking for nice people to take care of your pets while you are away.”

“Jennifer was great! Charlie and Daphne got a long well with her pup and had a great time. Her communication was amazing, and she sent some great photos. Will definitely book again!”

“Salene and her husband did so well with my baby. Salene responded quickly, sent pictures, and kept me updated. Very professional. She has the sweetest dogs and big backyard. My dog is not comfortable around many people but he felt right at home. I will for sure use Salene again. We have found our new babysitter!!”

“They were very accommodating. We were happy with the care our mini schnauzer received. This was only the third time we’ve ever left him in the care of others so was a bit nervous, but all went well. Would recommend and would definitely use their services again in the future.”

“Melissa was SO great!!! She was so kind and helpful to me and so loving on our dogs - She gave me updates every day with pictures of my dogs and I didn’t have to ask for anything! The best part was she let them sleep wherever in her own house, that was just so accommodating and nice, you don’t always get that level of care and accommodation from other dog sitters! (My dogs are not fans of crates). Highly recommend her and her family. She even gave my dogs her own cheese to give my dog her pill bc I forgot cheese to give her! Amazing and easy experience. I will 100% be using her again!!”

“Jennifer and Brian provided a comfy and loving home for our fur baby when we needed it, full of lots of hugs and attention from their kiddos. I could tell our dog had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.”

“Hannah and her family were amazing sitters for our sweet pup Hazel. We loved getting pictures and updates on our pup while we were traveling. Our pup was well cared for and stayed happy and healthy with Hannah and her family and I am so thankful for that. Would definitely use Hannah’s services again.”

“Excellent stay for Bella! Sonyta &Alan made me and my pet welcomed and comfortable at drop off so I had peace of mind to enjoy my overnight stay away from her. They kept me updated on how well she was doing with her visit and their pets. I definitely will ask them to sit for me again. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Sonyta & Alan.”

“Alexandra did a wonderful job caring for our pup Leo. She would send us updates/photos through out our trip and I appreciated her love/care for our dog. I’d definitely recommend and would rebook with her in the future!”
“Patches loved her first stay with Jeremy and Heather (and Harley!). Our previously booked sitter cancelled last minute and I had to find someone else. Jeremy and Heather happened to be available and responded right away to my request. They were so warm and inviting and treated Patches as their own. We received daily updates and photos and they even reached out when Patches appeared to have a seizure, assuring us that she was fine after. I would highly recommend Jeremy and Heather and we will be booking them again when we plan to be out of town!”

“Joan and her family were the perfect fit for our Nike. We received daily and nightly text with updates and pictures letting us know he was well taken care of and loved! Our vacation was stress free knowing he was in good hands with Joan. She responds promptly and is warm and friendly. We will definitely request a stay with Joan and her family again. I would give her 10 stars if I could.”

Courtney was so wonderful! I left my pup for 3 days — from meet n greet to drop off, throughout his whole visit, and up until pickup I felt very at ease and knew Ryder was in a great place! Pictures, videos, and updates were sent throughout each day without me needing to ask first which was amazing! HIGHLY recommend, 10/10!

Wow, where to begin. Galina and her family were absolutely amazing temporary parents to my Teddy. I had great feelings from our initial meeting that I knew my fur baby would be in great hands while we were out of the country for 9 days. She went above and beyond to understand him ahead of time, even stayed by him as he ate his first few meals (my dog doesn’t eat when he is away from me), spoiled him on so many walks, sent me updates in the morning and evening along with so many pictures, and she even let him sleep in her bed!! He was spoiled! I have never used Rover before and I am so very pleased I found Galina and her family. I loved that she only accepted one dog at a time and I wouldn’t have to worry about multiple dogs needing attention. I will absolutely be using Galina and her family again in the near future whenever we take our next vacation. Thank you so very much and I am pleased to know you know. 💓🫶🏻

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
