“This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”

About: I have 2 dogs, 2 cats. And several fosters through the year. So I run a small pack here. I am very experienced with managing multiple pets at a time. I work from home. A cat sleeps on my desk. And one or two dogs will sleep under it. I work from home. I begin the day by feeding the pack. Followed by vacuuming the mountains of fur. Followed by some morning calls. Then a walk if the weather is nice. And another one in the evening. Then move on to dinner, and bed time. Dogs usually sleep on or near the bed depending on the dog. The cats will do their cat thing. When a new pet comes into the home for boarding, I keep a close eye on things. I make sure to give them some time to decompress alone if needed. And then I introduce them to the pack. I keep a close eye on food and toys as they can sometimes lead to arguments. If I step out I may lock them up. Until I am comfortable that they will be ok unsupervised.

About: I have had dogs all my life since I was five. Always had two dogs in my home at all times until now. Besides my personal love for dogs I have helped at dog shelters when I lived in NYC and CT. I have house sat, walked and taken care of family and friends pets for as long as I can remember. I work from home so I will be with them 24/7 basically. The most we do Is go out on a weekend evening for a little bit but that’s it. I have one dog, Ollie he is 5 years old a bernadoodle and pretty laid back. As long as your dog is potty trained and get along well with other dogs everything will be great! They will get walked, play time and a bunch of attention.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats and have experience training both. I have walked dogs for friends and have experience training dogs in basic training and agility. I also have owned cats for most of my life. I am currently a teacher working full time and part time side hustles so i’m looking for a job that allows flexibility. “This was my first-time using Rover to find someone to watch my Yorkie, Maxcee. I was a little hesitant at first because the last, and only, time we boarded her in a traditional kennel over a weekend was not a good experience due to her getting nervous around so many animals/larger dogs, some were aggressive at times. Since we had a longer vacation already scheduled, we decided to try and find an in-home dog sitter with experience that offered a smaller, more intimate setting for our fur baby. We looked on Rover and I came across Lisa and David's profile. They had very good "verified" reviews which was important to me but what also stuck out to me was that they only kept 2 dogs at a time which was very important as well. We decided to setup a meet and greet, and it went very well. Lisa and David were warm and inviting to us and our fur babies (my son also boarded his Morkie, Lola, at the same time so they could be together since he also needed a sitter for our trip, and it worked out perfect). The meet and greet with Maxcee and Lola went very well. During their stay Lisa was very attentive and caring to Maxcee (and Lola) and gave them both the time and attention they needed to feel comfortable and at ease. My baby girl can be a picky eater so there were a few times where Lisa reached out to me to let me know what was going on and how she was doing. We eventually figured it out and she was able to get her to eat some (thank you, Lisa, for your patience with Maxcee and for even feeding her at times to make sure she ate something). Lisa provided outside time in the sun which Max loves and she had plenty of play time with Lola which she also loves! She also provided lots of pictures each day, which I loved, showing what Maxcee was up to, and it put my mind at ease seeing how well she was adjusting while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Lisa and David for your dog sitting needs, especially if you have a dog like mine that does not do well in those large kennel environments. I will, definitely, use Lisa and David again should the need arise and hopefully I will have found something she really enjoys eating so she'll be less picky :)”
