About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, from playful puppies to seniors needing patience and structure. Dogs have always been there for me, and my care reflects that same unconditional love through calm, purposeful, reliable support. My daily routine already includes caring for four dogs and several other animals. Because animal care is part of my everyday life, I always have time left to give your pets calm, reliable attention. Safety and trust are at the center of my care. I follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s routine, and treat your home with the same respect and attention I give my own animals.

About: Hi! I’m Vincent, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog dad to two dogs. One is 14 and the other is 7. Caring for them every day has taught me how important consistency, patience, and attention to detail are when it comes to keeping pets happy and comfortable. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, administering basic medications if needed, and making sure each dog gets the attention they deserve. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to make them feel safe and at home while you’re away. I’m dependable, organized, and treat every dog as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of love and attention. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing on the couch, I’m happy to match their routine and make their stay as stress-free as possible I work full-time during the week, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care before and after work, as well as on evenings and weekends. Caring for my own two dogs is already part of my daily routine, so adding walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention for your pet fits naturally into my day. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs before each stay. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and shared with my two friendly small dogs who are used to being around other pets. I supervise introductions carefully and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and regular updates while you’re away.

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, from puppies all the way to the stubborn old dog living with me now! I have also volunteered at animal shelters for a total of five years, where I learned a lot about how to care for various ages and breeds of dogs. Additionally, my current dog is a senior and is partially blind and deaf, so I am experienced in caring for older dogs who may have special needs. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I have a very flexible schedule! I can definitely accommodate any walks or potty breaks your pup might need, and I can also be home if your pup has separation anxiety or needs a closer eye kept on them. I have a fenced yard and two children with lots of energy to keep your pup entertained! My neighborhood has plenty of walking trails, as well as a dog park. I do have a dog in my home, as well; he is a senior and very laid-back and calm. So we are also happy to hang out with lower energy dogs who might just enjoy snuggles and lots of naps.

About: I've been responsible for an animal since I turned old enough to fill up a bowl of kibble. My mom is a veterinarian and taught me how to make sure critters of all kinds were well cared for. Im currently continuing my education part-time, mornings from 9am to 2pm. Before and after class I try to be as active as possible, and it would be a pleasure to fit your pet's care into that time! I can provide either efficient in/out cleaning and feeding, or spend more quality time with your pet to ensure they're exercised and happy while youre away. For walking service, I'll happily plan a route that fits your pet's stamina and breed, or you can suggest one that you regularly follow!

About: I've grown up with animals of all kinds with different personalities and temperaments. I have moderate amounts of training knowledge. I love playing with animals and exercising with them. I work part-time and currently go to college full time. However, I'm very good at managing time to fit in taking out the animal, feeding, and playing with them during my day. My weekends are normally empty, so I can focus majority of my time and energy into the animal. I will ask for the animal's routine, where they are allowed/not allowed, when and what they eat, cleaning supplies area of the home, if there's specific training rules for them, and if the animal is injured in any way or prone to accidents. I will leave the home how I found it and clean any extra messes I feel is needed.

About: I've had at least one dog since I was 10, and have been the primary caretaker of all my pets since. About: Hi! I'm an experienced animal lover with 5 years of hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic. During that time, I gained extensive knowledge of animal health, behavior, medications, and recognizing when something isn't quite right. About: I have had dogs my entire life and I love meeting new dogs and their owners. I currently have 3 of my own fur babies. I had my first job at 16 working as a kennel tech at a veterinarian office. I have since worked for several doggy daycare/boarding facilities in California and here in the Dallas area. I am CPR certified for dogs of all sizes. I have experience administering medications including eye, ear, oral and insulin. I have experience handling small and large dog breeds of all ages. I am comfortable and very patient with elderly fur babies as well as puppies as I have had many of both myself. I work part time in retail so I have plenty of time during the day/night to drop in for a visit or stay the night with your dog/s. I will share my work schedule with you for the time you are looking for a sitter so you that know when to expect me at your home. Your dogs safety and comfort is my primary goal when I stay/visit at your home. I make sure they have ample fresh, clean water, I wash their food bowl daily, I clean up messes and pick up poop in the yard. My goal is to make your dog/s as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have three dogs of my own, including a senior, plus my cat Mila. My baby Sophie passed away in 2023. She shaped who I am today. I’ve also cared for rabbits, turtles, birds, shy pets, senior pets, and reactive animals. I’m patient, calm, and gentle, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. Between my own dogs, rabbits, and turtle, my days revolve around feeding, walks, cleaning, and spending time with them. I naturally plan my schedule around pets’ needs, so welcoming another pet into that routine feels easy and familiar. I love providing calm, consistent care that helps animals feel safe and comfortable. In my home, I keep a calm, clean, and comfortable environment so pets feel safe and relaxed. I follow routines closely, supervise interactions, and make sure feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning are always handled properly. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions carefully. Whether it’s medications, specific routines, or helping a shy pet feel at ease, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved

About: I grew up in a house that always had dogs, so caring for them — feeding, walking, playing, just being attentive to their needs — has been part of my life since childhood. I was previously active on Rover and loved every bit of it, but stepped away when I took on a full-time job that didn't leave room for it. Now that I'm working part time, I have consistent free time during the day to give a dog the walk, exercise, and attention they need. I'm patient, observant, and genuinely comfortable around dogs of different ages and temperaments. I work part time, which leaves me with open, predictable hours during the day on most weekdays. That makes me a reliable option for midday walks or drop-in visits when your dog needs a break, some exercise, or just company while you're at work. I'm not currently offering overnight boarding or house sitting, but I'm consistently available for daytime care. Since I offer walks and daytime drop-in visits rather than boarding, most of my care happens in your dog's own home and neighborhood, keeping their routine and environment familiar and low-stress. I'm attentive to leash safety, comfortable handling different temperaments, and careful about doors, gates, and anything that could be a hazard on a walk. We don't currently keep pets in our own home — partly so we can stay flexible for travel — but that just means every visit is fully focused on your dog.

Emma did a great job taking care of our two dogs. She sent plenty of photos and some commentary on their outing that gave me a good idea of their daily walk encounters and other things going on like the weather, the ground conditions and how successfully the dogs finished their usual business. Emma demonstrates a good knowledge of and rapport with animals and reported that even my shy dog Harper warmed up to her during their time together. The dogs were happy and well upon our return so we are pleased with Emma's service while we were away. We would happily rebook Emma for any future animal care needs.

About: I have raised dogs all of my life and I am a huge animal lover. Each animal I have had have always been rescues. I strongly believe in TLC for all pets. When you're away from home I will give all the love and pets to your furry friend. I love to walk dogs as it benefits both parties. Play time is incredibly important too. Without play time a pet can become restless and bored. I thoroughly enjoy playing fetch with dogs. I am promptly on time with potty breaks, feeding time, and any walking needs. Any request great or small will be done. I currently have a 11 year old male cat I raised from a kitten so I know cat's very well also. I have a flexible schedule to accommodate any and all pet needs a client may have. I do well with a detailed potty and feeding schedule. I send updates and pictures accordingly with feeding times and follow written instructions very well. I make sure family pets are kept to a standard routine so they feel right at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
