“T’Anna did such an amazing job with my puppy who had his first experience pet boarding with her. She took the time to show me around so I knew exactly where he would play/sleep/eat etc. After dropping him off, she gave me frequent updates on how he was doing. I will definitely book again!”

We are always so comfortable and happy leaving Joey with Jonai and know we can fully trust her. I highly recommend leaving your animals in her care!”

“It was such a fun and exciting vacation for my pet with Andrew, Joy and their puppies. Looking at the pictures and videos that were shared regularly by them, he seemed to have a blast. They took very good care of special diet needs, walking and playing with him. Andrew and Joy both understood our unique needs and took care of it. They paid attention to every details. Awesome guys !!! Will be boarding our pup soon with them, during the next vacation.”

But Salene was very patient and it helped having her little doggies be friends with ours! She sent photos and updated every day and snuggled with our little one cause she loves the cuddles! Highly recommended and will be using her again in the future!”

“Mrs Kamaleswari V dog sit Mr Beethovan for me within a few days notification. Plus, she did a meet and greet prior to the actual date scheduled. I really appreciate her accepting the offer with a short notice. She welcomed him with open arms and he loved every minute of it. Beethovan is very clingy so glad she understands and accepted the challenge. He really enjoyed the love and will reschedule soon. She will provide pictures as well! Thanks Again”

“Catherine was great with Marley. She sent photos and updates several times during the week. She was even concerned about him being scared of the rain/ thunder and took extra care to make sure he felt safe and secure during the thunder storms. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I grew up on a farm helping with animals often. I've always owned dogs and cats. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I have a dog door (it can be secured) and automatic waterer for your pet's convenience. I installed a metal gate to keep my runners from escaping out the front door. I am trained to give shots for the elderly family members. The days I work outside the house, I can meet you at 6:15 pm or later. I feed the dogs twice daily, but biscuits often. I am a homebody and I'm usually home all weekend. Your fur babies will be well loved. I have a 6-foot privacy fence, gate for the front door, dog door and an automatic water feeder. They are like family and can explore all they want. Please let me know in advance if a pet likes to lift his leg inside the house. I can provide doggy diapers.
“She was wonderful. She sent photos and videos of my pup throughout the day for updates which was very reassuring and mindful. She has a dog named Layla and my pup played so much with her also.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
