“first time using Rover and Leilani. Leilani rocks! this is the first time we have left our furry one with anybody and we were feeling a little apprehensive at first. But after meeting Leilani and the fact that there was another dog(s) there, it made for a quick, easy transition. the pics Leilani sent throughout Millie's stay brought smiles and comfort at a distance. highly highly recommend Leilani!”

“Bethany is fantastic! Gave me so much peace of mind with my senior pug and puppy! She truly loves dogs and will treat them as her own! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Kelli was great with our doggies. She communicated really well and was really good at giving our dogs time to adapt to her home. She sent pictures during their stay and was great with them.”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs, I work every day with dogs in my current job as a dog groomer and bather at pet smart. I am a part time college student at University of North Texas. and also, a part time dog groomer with pet smart. other than Mondays and Thursdays i have a completely open availability I live in a apartment with no other dogs living here, however I do have all of the necessities such as dog beds, fences, and toys
“Five stars. We highly recommend them. You can tell they definitely love dogs which gave us a lot of comfort and trust in them with Odin. We are so grateful that they helped us out with minimal notice when we had to leave town quickly. You know they’re the right sitter for your pet when your pet runs up to their door and whines for a day after we pick him up.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom who knows how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, medication, and plenty of companionship. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and cared for. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need a little extra patience, routine, or attention. My goal is simple: make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away! 🐾 I work from home and can watch dogs at my home during the day on weekdays. I can do check ins or house visits to nearby homes during the evenings. I am available on weekends as my schedule allows. I have a fenced, turfed yard and two dogs (a 3 year old miniature pinscher named Pancho, and a 1.5 year miniature dachshund named Remy) to keep your fur baby company.

“Bertha was wonderful! She was so easy to work with and booking was a breeze. It was our first time leaving our puppy but she knew exactly how to make us feel comfortable with leaving him. We received pictures and updates every day, it was so nice to see him be so happy even though he wasn’t with us!”

“Kristine was awesome in taking care of our 6-month-old pup. Initially, we were worried as thats the first time we left the pup in a sitter's home. But she cleared all our worries with regular updates and the pics. And my pup also enjoyed the stay there. So happy for selecting Kristine for our pup.”

“Leaving our dog mocha with Chris was a good call. He was very accommodating and welcoming, and our dog came back spoilt. We would want to avail his services again, any day.”

“Alex was amazing at taking care of my Australian Shepherd. She really got to know my dog as seen through the daily pictures that she sent. I totally trust her and would definitely use Alex again!”

“We had a great experience with Ujjwal and his family. They took great care of Lilly and Lacey and kept us up to date on their adventures and how they were adjusting. We will definitely be repeat customers.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for my Pomeranian, "Lulu". From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely loves what she does—and it shows in every detail. She was incredibly professional, sending daily updates and adorable photos that kept me completely at ease while I was away. "Lulu" was clearly happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which speaks volumes about the attention and affection she received. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family. Thank you, Gladys, for taking such amazing care of our "Lulu"!”

“Left my pup with them for five nights, and it went very smoothly, they were very friendly and sent me pictures the whole time I was away to see how he was doing. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family for their dog too! Thank you. 🩵”

“We were so thankful for the stay over the holidays. Koko was so loved and cared for and was taken in just like family. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend!”

“We appreciate Jessica and Nathaniel so very much for welcoming our fur babies into their home and with little notice! We loved how they immediately introduced and included them in their family! We look forward to many more exciting “field trips” for London, Roman & Ford! Thank you so much, Jessica and Nathaniel!!”

“I’m so very happy & I know my pup is too, that we found Crystal to watch her. Great communication, great care taking, great dog sitter! I recommend her 100% & look forward to hiring her again when we need too!”

“They took such wonderful care of our 2 dogs! We don’t leave our dogs often, but we would 100% rebook with them in the future. We received multiple pics a day and they updated us on how they were doing and what activities they were up to. They treated our pups like they were family.”

“Jennifer and Brian did great with my little Jackie. It was a first time she was away from home in many many years and she was taken care of very well. I highly recommend them and will request their services again in the future.”

“When we got our first dog, Wrigley, at 10 weeks old, we had no clue what an intricate member of the family he would become! I instantly worried that we would never go on vacation again, as I wasn't comfortable leaving him at a kennel. I started looking at Rover and when I saw that Jackie and Lambert were listed I was immediately relieved! Our paths had crossed with them before we got Wrigley and were always amazed at their kindness. I knew we had found the perfect place for our puppy when we go on vacation and that I wouldn't have to fly my dad in from out-of-state anymore! Yes, I'm that kind of doggie mom, which tells you that it is very important to me where I leave our pup. Jackie and Lambert took very good care of Wrigley and were not fazed by my instructions. He was evident from the many pictures and videos I received multiple times a day that he was happy and took a liking to both of them. Jackie and Lambert took Wrigley on multiple walks, played in the backyard with him, brushed him (I didn't even ask them to!), and most importantly, showed him lots of love. Wrigley is a cuddler and from the photos looks like he quickly claimed his spot on the couch cuddling Lambert. They knew that Wrigley slept in his crate next to our bed, so Lambert even slept next to his crate every night! We really appreciated this. Jackie keeps a scrapbook of their Rover doggies that is proof of how much they love doing this! I would write more, but I just spied my 10-month old puppy digging in the backyard (argh! although Jackie said he was a perfect angel for them!), so don't hesitate- book your next vacation and book Jackie and Lambert!”

About: I grew up on a farm helping with animals often. I've always owned dogs and cats. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I have a dog door (it can be secured) and automatic waterer for your pet's convenience. I installed a metal gate to keep my runners from escaping out the front door. I am trained to give shots for the elderly family members. The days I work outside the house, I can meet you at 6:15 pm or later. I feed the dogs twice daily, but biscuits often. I am a homebody and I'm usually home all weekend. Your fur babies will be well loved. I have a 6-foot privacy fence, gate for the front door, dog door and an automatic water feeder. They are like family and can explore all they want. Please let me know in advance if a pet likes to lift his leg inside the house. I can provide doggy diapers.

Kellye and Esteban were amazing with my 2 pups. They are both senior pups so they took very good care of them sending updates and pictures on a regular basis. Her kids are amazing with pups too and they have a beautiful house right by the lake where any pup would have a great time. Will definitely book again in the future. Thankyou !!!

Our boy is not comfortable around other dogs so we have always felt miserable about boarding him. Enter Paul. He welcomed Calvin into his home with open arms and was more like a foster parent than a pet sitter from the moment we introduced ourselves. Even as we were leaving I could hear him calming our boy with patience and kindness. We received daily updates and photos to let us know Calvin was doing well, and at pick up it was clear that not only was our dog calmer than he had been when coming home from a boarding facility, he was thriving! We are so grateful to Paul for looking after our boy as though Calvin were his own dog. We now know our first choice for trips away from home! Thank you, Paul!

Sabrina was amazing taking care of Aria. Every day she sent me photos and messages telling me what Aria had done, how she was doing, and how well behaved she was. That gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away, and Aria looked happy, well taken care of, and like she had a lot of fun.

This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Maria and her family took such great care of Luna and Oliver, sent regular updates and pictures, and gave me so much peace of mind while I was out of the country. It was obvious they were well loved and cared for. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Had two trips in the same week *plus* delayed flights and Deanna rolled with it, letting me pick up my dogs late and holding onto their things overnight when I briefly came back. She and her family love my dogs and makes sure they are always taken care of. I literally have no concerns when I need to leave town. It's such a huge relief to not have to worry about them at all during trips because I know they are in great hands with folks that love them as much as I do! And it turns out my dogs have become besties with her dog, so they literally love going to Deanna's. Thanks for everything you do, Deanna and family!!

Ashley took great care of our 9 month old large, high-energy puppy, Ralphie. She kept us updated and sent lots of pictures of him having fun and being loved on. She was extremely accommodating. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone and will be requesting her again the next time we need to go out of town.

We feel so lucky to have found Lacey and Mark. This was our first ever time to use Rover and the experience could not have been better. Our initial meet and greet with Lacey and her sweet dog Harvey was so wonderful. It was such a calm and relaxing experience for our sweet Brodie girl and Us!! After this visit, we felt very comfortable setting up our first boarding with Lacey and Mark. Brodie loved her stay with Lacey, Mark and Harvey. On our drop off Brodie was a bit nervous, but Lacey put us all at ease. She was so kind and calm which made our drop off experience much easier. We received daily communication and pictures from Lacey. Our Brodie girl looked so calm and happy in all the pictures, she could not have been in better care while we were away. We highly recommend Lacey and Mark.

We are so grateful for the amazing care our pet received from Lindsey! She was attentive, loving, and very responsible. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our fur baby was in such good hands. We could tell our pet felt comfortable and happy. We highly recommend Lindsey’s services!

We thought we had brought home the wrong dogs! They were so uncharacteristically calm - it must have been all the love and attention they got. I have never left them with any one other than my friend so this was a big adventure and Jessica cam through beautifully! Pups will be visiting again I’m sure
She was so great with both our dogs and our cats! Everything went smoothly and they loved her. Even our cats who is always hiding from people came out to see her! She sent lots of pictures, took our dog on multiple walks per day, and had great communication! We would defintely book her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
