“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our sitter was friendly, caring, and followed all of our feeding instructions perfectly. The location near the airport is incredibly convenient, making it so easy to swing by and pick up our dogs while traveling. Most importantly, we picked up two very happy dogs who apparently had no interest in leaving! 😂 That says everything we need to know. We’ll definitely be using Ha again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!”

“Angie and her daughter were both kind and caring to my fur baby! She sent multiple pictures and updates every morning and night. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Shelby was absolutely amazing and from the first picture, I could tell that my pup was happy and well taken care of! I always get so nervous leaving him but she cleared away any anxiety I had about it 😊 I could tell my pup was missing her whenever I brought him home 😅”

“Mindy and her husband Cory did a great job with my dog. They just kept her overnight but did a great job providing updates along with pictures and video. I would definitely use them again in the future.”

“Blanco & Chapos first time boarding with Hailey! They seemed to be very happy and were KO’d when I picked them up and slept the whole day I knew they were in great hands with Hailey and her family thank you! I loved the daily updates, pictures she shared, Hailey is super responsive & great communicator. We will definitely be back thank you!”

“Allison and Nicholas are wonderful. My pups were very comfortable and relaxed. It was their first time away from me and I am so glad that they were the once taking care of them. ❤️❤️❤️”
“Staci is a fantastic dog care provider. She has taken a very temperamental spoiled Labrador and made him feel welcomed and safe. I don’t hesitate in recommending her for taking care of our precious family members.”

“Simba had a great time with Janae! I had to take a very last minute trip and lucked out. She was very communicative throughout the three days sending updates and pictures. Would definitely board with Janae and her son in the future.”

“Maya had so much fun with Paulo! He provided constant updates about her and took care of her so well. He also communicated very well, which made the whole process super easy! We will definitely be booking with him again in the future 😊”

“Linda was wonderful! Her home was clean and beautifully kept and her yard was perfect and safe. She's great and prompt with communication, sent a pic every day with an update, and great with our senior dog who was in need of more care than a younger dog, needing meds, diapers, and a watchful eye (unfortunately his nerves gave him a bad stomach one night and she had a lot of yucky clean-up in the middle of the night but was very kind about it and concerned for him) . She was kind and comfortable both with me and my dog. I could tell she's been doing this a while! If you want a doggie grandma, call Linda! Ps: she has 2 dogs, one big/tall (younger) one and one small (senior dog). My dog is social so he was fine with them. They're sweet.”
“I am so grateful to Tiffany & her family for taking such wonderful care of my dog! From the moment I met her, I could tell she had a deep love for animals and a natural way with them. Throughout the time she cared for my dog, she kept me updated with photos and messages. My dog was happy, well-exercised, and clearly felt at ease with her. It was such a relief to know my pet was in such capable, loving hands. I highly recommend Tiffany to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Glenda took wonderful care of our dog Levi while we were away! She was attentive, easy to communicate with, and clearly great with dogs. We loved getting updates and knowing Levi was in such good hands. Highly recommend Glenda!”

About: This is my new profile from my previous inactive one! i’m 21 years old, I am local to the Lantana/Argyle area and have been for the past 8 years of my life with pet care experience reaching back 10 years. i was born in Missouri, the first place i was able to be blessed with a beautiful family husky named raven, coming before my second family dog named max (boxer). after him came the 3 little comedians in my pet profile. I love every dog and their personalities and being around a variety of them is more than a privilege for me! I currently do NOT live with my 3 dogs (kept at my parents house, as i bought another house in lantana with my brother) i will be working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off at an oil rig in a few months, though my brother who lives with me (also a rover pet care worker) will be at the house 24/7. we both share the same policies and expectations for eachother when it comes to pet care and overnight sitting. my main rule with new dogs and animals in general is patience, empathy and logical solutions. i really don't like the whole getting mad at dogs thing so I tend to use this rule when training and/or sitting dogs as a way to prioritize both me & the pups comfort as well as to set a stable pattern of expected behavior both from me and the pup. I have a built in dog bath in my house as well as a large (ish) room dedicated to them having a place to walk around, eat, play and lay down when i'm not there, the room is also gated.

We have had our Gunner board with Alice a second visit and super happy once again! She is so sweet and loves and truly cares about our little guy! Great communication and pics…Lots of pics! We feel at ease when Gunner is with her. He’s happy therefore we are happy!! 😍.

Ashley took great care of our 9 month old large, high-energy puppy, Ralphie. She kept us updated and sent lots of pictures of him having fun and being loved on. She was extremely accommodating. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone and will be requesting her again the next time we need to go out of town.

Previously we kennelled our dog when we were out of town, but we met Lynn when she cat-sit fir us and learned she could also care for our dog ib her home. It was perfect! She got the extra attention she needed and loved it! It was a much better experience for her and I hope Lynn will be able to keep her in the future when we are out if town 😊

We are so grateful for the amazing care our pet received from Lindsey! She was attentive, loving, and very responsible. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our fur baby was in such good hands. We could tell our pet felt comfortable and happy. We highly recommend Lindsey’s services!

She was so great with both our dogs and our cats! Everything went smoothly and they loved her. Even our cats who is always hiding from people came out to see her! She sent lots of pictures, took our dog on multiple walks per day, and had great communication! We would defintely book her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
