We have two cats fed twice each day, but they can always have access to fresh water. They have enrichments like window baskets, a cat tree, and scratching posts to enable them to move around freely and exhibit their natural behaviors. We have a puppy, too, that is fed every day and has water regularly; she also does morning and evening structured training, with a new command or trick learned each week.
