Hyper dogs welcome!
At home, I have shelter dogs who were all but unadoptable because of hyperactivity and/or anxiety. I love these dogs. They need a lot of love and a lot of training, and they are amazing. I have had dogs most of my life and currently have three big rescues. I love hyper dogs who are full of energy and want to play. I have also had cats before and love them! I can also help you out with birds, pocket pets, and rabbits while you are traveling. Note that I have had to increase my rates because Rover instituted a new “pilot program” that increases what it makes and decreases the income earned by people who work on the platform. This unilateral change to a bilateral contract is blatantly illegal. Please contact Rover Support to request that this illegal “pilot program” be reversed. As soon as it is reversed, I will lower my rate so I can continue providing affordable and quality pet care while still earning an income.

I have a fenced backyard and a dedicated dog room with crates for sleeping. This is a very dog-centric home, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

A typical day
We play outside in the morning so dogs can get all their energy out before the heat sets in. During hot months, I do not walk dogs after 10am for their safety (and mine). I am very conscious of the risk of developing gastric torsion so adjust feeding times around when dogs have been playing and when they have had enough down time.
