A typical day
We play outside in the morning so dogs can get all their energy out before the heat sets in. During hot months, I do not walk dogs after 10am for their safety (and mine). I am very conscious of the risk of developing gastric torsion so adjust feeding times around when dogs have been playing and when they have had enough down time.

Pet care experience
At home, I have shelter dogs who were all but unadoptable because of hyperactivity and/or anxiety. I love these dogs. They need a lot of love and a lot of training, and they are amazing. I have had dogs most of my life and currently have three big rescues. I love hyper dogs who are full of energy and want to play. I have also had cats before and love them! I can also help you out with birds, pocket pets, and rabbits while you are traveling.

Abby enjoyed her stay with Keri. I was updated daily, including pictures. The only issue I had was Keri changing the food from kibble with chicken topping that I suppled to a canned food she supplied. Everything else was great.
