About: Animals have been an integral part of my life since I was a child growing up on a small ranch. My dad is a retired agricultural teacher so I have had everything from hamsters as a young child, to my family dog Holly and cat Lady, to the livestock and working dogs, and even a hedgehog, a bunny, a bearded dragon, and pygmy goats with my own children. Big or small I love them all, just horses and dogs hold a special place in my heart. During high school and much of college I did work at our local vet's office and have experience with care and medication if needed. I have two wonderful furry members who are a special part of my life. Lucy, is a senior Golden Retriever and a retired hunting dog who loves to nap on her bed and make happy tippity taps with her toes to let me know she needs to go out. Finnegan is a 1yo Bernese Mountain Dog who would love nothing more than to lean against you and get some pets. Finn may seem like a really big guy, but he is filled with so much love, and is doing so well in his training to become an Autism Service Dog. I am able to take regular potty breaks, schedule time to go for a walk and play in the backyard. I do drive my girls to and from school, but living close to town means a round trip drop off only takes me 15 minutes or so. My pets are a part of my family and safety is important. I have a fully fenced backyard and safe neighborhood to go on walks. I do allow our dogs on the couch so they can cuddle and I even have a ramp or stairs if needed for any smaller friends and soft cushy doggy beds for when they would rather curl up in their own space. About: I am unable to offer meet and greets in my home due to the number to pets that come through my house and for security reasons. I do have a dog park down the street that I can meet at with my dogs, though I do host pets from different households at the same time and cannot guarantee my dogs will be the only pets here when yours visits. If you pet does not play well with others, this is not the house for you. Kitties and doggies are separated as needed. Drop off and pick up runs from 8am-10pm only. I have worked in animal control and with the SPCA. I have owned dogs and cats and other small mammals for over 30 years. I love all kinds of animals and always have them around. I rescue and care for anything I find on the street hoping to find the owner or a forever home if the owner cannot be found. I am loving and trustworthy. Your pet will love me and my family! I have 2 kids that know how to treat animals. My pets get along with any new faces and will love to meet your babies if they stay in my home. Your pet will be treated as one of my family while they are in my care and they will get all the love they are used to while you are away. I work from home so I am here most of the time. I love pets and hanging out with them is my purpose in life. As I always have several visitors, I am unable to offer meet and greets in my home, but there is a dog park down the street I can meet at if needed. My drop in/dog walking/drop off/Pick up hours run from 8am-10pm. If you are leaving before 8am, your pet must be dropped up the day before. If you cannot pick up by 10pm then they must stay until the next day. Pets have free roam of the house and lots of beds/couches for naps. We also have lots of toys and a big double fenced yard.

“Christy watched our dog for 5 hours on a Sunday. It was his first time with Rover. We had video call the day before with Christy to introduce ourselves and Toby. She answered all our questions. On the day of the visit we spent an hour at her house getting to know her and the making Toby comfortable. She has impeccable communication as she always asked before giving any food and send videos of him eating food or rejecting or just plain sitting in his bed. We surely recommend Christy.”
