About: I feel like I've always taken care of dogs. My family had dogs growing up. I have a senior dog and a four year-old dog. I have experience taking care of both senior dogs and younger dogs. My daughter is trying to raise money for a Washington DC trip. We would love to take care of your dog. I am not available on the weekends. I am available Tuesday through Friday for dog walk's, drop in visits or boarding opportunities. We would love to take care of your baby! I have a backyard that is fenced in. We have wood floors and a doggie door. I will play with them and take them for walks.

About: I would love the opportunity to care for your pet! I have a very welcoming and fun-loving personality that has never met an animal personality that didn't mesh. I have 15 years of experience with dogs and 12 years of experience with cats. I have raised several puppies and kittens and cared for elder dogs and cats as well. Caring for animals is my passion and I thank you for the time with your pet. I have a flexible work schedule, so my flexibility is a bonus when it comes to pet care! I offer dog walks, cat or dog drop-in house visits, over night house sitting, and doggy day care. When you book with me, you have the comfort knowing that all my care and attention is on your dog since I only accept 1-2 dogs from one household, per day. I will follow any rules or guidelines set by the owner to ensure the best care is given to your furry loved one. I submit photos throughout my care time to keep you up to date with the great time your pet is having with me!

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, from puppies all the way to the stubborn old dog living with me now! I have also volunteered at animal shelters for a total of five years, where I learned a lot about how to care for various ages and breeds of dogs. Additionally, my current dog is a senior and is partially blind and deaf, so I am experienced in caring for older dogs who may have special needs. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I have a very flexible schedule! I can definitely accommodate any walks or potty breaks your pup might need, and I can also be home if your pup has separation anxiety or needs a closer eye kept on them. I have a fenced yard and two children with lots of energy to keep your pup entertained! My neighborhood has plenty of walking trails, as well as a dog park. I do have a dog in my home, as well; he is a senior and very laid-back and calm. So we are also happy to hang out with lower energy dogs who might just enjoy snuggles and lots of naps.

I would give Tiffany 10 Stars if I could! I recently tried putting Big Boy in doggie daycare. It did not end well. He got scared and was crying and they put him in what they called "time out". I later learned time out meant that he spent the entire day by himself. My son told me about this app and I decided to give it a shot. I could not be happier. Tiffany is not only the nicest person ever, but she also genuinely loves dogs. When I took big boy back the morning after his first visit, he was actually excited to be there which is a huge milestone for a dog that's got separation anxiety. Big boy and Tiffany's dog played together all day. She sent numerous photos and gave me great rundowns of the events of each day. She is amazing and I give you my word, she will not disappoint!

About: What sets me apart is my combination of hands on experience, patience, and a genuine commitment to understanding each pet’s individual needs. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals, including energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior pets who require gentler, slower-paced care and close attention to comfort and mobility. I’m confident handling feeding routines, administering basic medications, and managing pets with anxiety or special quirks. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, create a calm environment, and communicate consistently with owners so they feel fully at ease while they’re away. Whether it’s reinforcing positive training for puppies, offering mobility support and extra patience for seniors, or giving plenty of love and playtime to pets of any age, I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care that feels like an extension of your own home. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. Your dogs MUST be child friendly. For dog sitting requests in the home, I do not stay the night. If you are nearby to Denton, TX, I can do 3-4 visits drop by daily. Father away will be 1-2 times for a drop by visit. Please be aware before booking a house sitting request. Pet care is a natural part of my routine, and I build my schedule around providing consistent attention and support. I’m used to planning my mornings and evenings around feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I keep a flexible schedule so I can accommodate pets who need mid-day visits or a little extra time. Throughout the week, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of exercise, companionship, and calm downtime. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and enjoy as part of my everyday rhythm especially having 3 dogs of my own! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all feeding instructions, walk schedules, and training preferences exactly as given. I also make sure to keep their environment clean, safe, and comfortable! I do that by having refreshing water, tidying up food areas, and giving plenty of playtime or quiet time depending on what the pet needs. I stay attentive to their behavior and well-being. I also send regular updates so their owners feel confident and connected. When caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and welcoming space that’s pet-friendly and supervised. Having three dogs of my own plus accommodating for others will be fun! I provide structured play, exercise, and rest. I make sure pets feel secure, whether that means cozy spots to relax or engaging activities to burn energy. I treat every pet like part of the family by being patient, promoting safety, and with lots of love and consistency. For all pet care needs a child will be with me at all times. Your dogs MUST be child friendly. For dog sitting requests in the home, I do not stay the night. If you are nearby to Denton, TX, I can do 3-4 visits drop by daily. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had a Labrador who was a huge part of my life, and I still miss him—it’s what made me truly understand how important pets are to a family. Over the years, I’ve spent time with many different breeds of dogs and cats, helping friends, neighbors, and family with feeding, walking, and playtime. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a calm senior pet, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would at home. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, so your pup will get lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I’m flexible on weekends and available most afternoons for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. About: Our family loves dogs. I can take care of dogs that are up to 25 lbs. We like giving lots of love and attention to our furry guests and enjoy playing in the backyard with them. Our 7 year old dog Chess is the sweetest host and has the best time when we have doggie friends over to play with and run around. I work from home so I’m always there to give them attention and lots of belly scratches. In the afternoons your dog will experience a full house with three older children who love to play and cuddle with our furry friends. Being a dog “mommy” myself I understand how important it is to make sure our puppies are well taken care off while we are out of town. Not only taking care of their basic needs, but making sure they get extra love while their humans are away. I like documenting your doggie stay with pictures and videos, and send them to you every day. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby soon! I work from home, so I am always available to give our doggie guests extra belly rubs and make them feel loved and cared for. I work from home so I have the flexibility to pay extra attention to our doggie guests. Our backyard is fenced. We never open the front door to avoid the dogs to accidentally getting out. To get in out out of the house we go thought laundry room, close the door, then open the door that goes to the garage. We take care of one dog at a time (or 2 from the same family). I always separate the dogs during feeding time.

About: I’m very thankful to be able to grow up with indoor and outdoor cats and dogs. From large dogs giving birth in our back woods, to the little wiener dogs in wheelchairs I enjoy getting out of the house for fresh air, which makes me compatible with dogs. But I also like snuggling indoors with cats or dogs. Regarding pet care schedules, I’m pretty open My four cats have their own bedroom and two aUtomatic litter boxes, 3 large beds for them to cuddle yet they cry if I close the door or don’t take them to the next room with me. I will always tear client’s homes like mine, I’m a very type A personality

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Cross Roads

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 2,579 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cross Roads. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cross Roads commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,579 sitters in Cross Roads, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
