Isabell did such an amazing job watching our two dogs. She was super communicative, proactive and was even nice enough to help us out with an extra morning drop in due to our evening flight being canceled, which delayed us from getting back to our pups in the evening as intended. We truly appreciate how attentive and caring she was, and will definitely book again.

About: Hi! I’m Kimora, and I’ve always had a love for animals. I previously worked as a Shift Lead at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included administering medications, preparing meals, giving treats, supervising playgroups, and making sure every dog felt safe and comfortable. During my time there, I also learned a lot about canine body language and behavior, which helps me understand when a dog is feeling excited, nervous, playful, or needs a little extra space. At home, I’m a proud cat mom to two cats who are absolutely spoiled. They mean the world to me, and I always go above and beyond to make sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved. Because I treat my own pets like family, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with yours. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone keep them company, I’ll make sure they receive the same care and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident, and stress-free while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! My flexible online work allows me to spend the majority of my time at home, providing me with ample availability to care for both my own pets and those of others. This means I can dedicate significant time and attention to ensure the well-being and happiness of all the furry friends I look after. I have two cats, Ana and Gigi. Ana tends to keep to herself, while Gigi likes to investigate. She doesn't get aggressive but enjoys playing. If any altercation were to happen, I would keep my distance and separate the two from each other. In any client's home, I would adhere to the instructions given to me to avoid any unwanted scenarios.

About: My name is Mikaila and I am an animal lover! I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs and all sorts of farm animals from working on my grandmothers farm. I also foster kittens from a local rescue I volunteer at. I have two cats named Logan and Liam of my own as well as two dogs named Yeti and Dexter. My mission is to make your furbabies feel as comfortable and loved while you are away. I am an avid traveler myself so I know how hard it is to leave your babies at home. I promise to send lots of pictures and videos so you can see how happy they are and how much they miss you. I look forward to getting to meet and care for your furbabies! I work mostly remote so my schedule is flexible depending on what your furbaby needs. I will be able to take your babies on walks and give ample play time. From previous experience of dog/cat sitting I typically visit 2-3 times a day. This includes lots of play time and walks to get some fresh air. I work a hybrid schedule and local to the Frisco area so I am never very far away if you ever need me to visit them more than twice a day. Caring for your for babies in your home I take very seriously along with keeping them safe security wise. I will always make sure the doors are locked and they are safe with a light on for them to see in the dark.

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of many different species, ages, and temperaments. Before moving, I regularly provided pet and house sitting for five different families each summer. Those households included dogs, cats, birds, lizards, geckos, snakes, turtles, fish, and other pets with detailed feeding, cleaning, and care routines. I currently continue to care for a large multi-pet household with both senior and young dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, freshwater and saltwater aquariums, exotic fish, crabs, seahorses, praying mantises, and numerous plants. I also have extensive experience caring for horses/farm animals, and worked as head equine manager for a therapy barn for two years, along with being a horse trainer for the past five years. At home, I have two dogs, seven cats, two horses, a miniature donkey, and chickens. One of my dogs is a Labrador, and the other is a mixed-breed dog I rescued from the side of the road. Living with and caring for so many animals has taught me to pay close attention to behavior, routines, appetite, comfort, and changes that may indicate stress or illness. I am experienced with puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, and dogs with separation anxiety. I understand that some animals need more than a quick feeding or walk. They may need patience, consistency, quiet companionship, or someone who can remain in the home so they feel safe and secure. I am comfortable administering oral medications and subcutaneous injections when provided with clear instructions. My educational background includes an advanced college-level animal science course and an interactive veterinary medicine course, both completed with an A+ average. While I am not a veterinarian, this training strengthened my understanding of animal health, handling, safety, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. After working as a horse trainer for five years. That experience taught me how to remain calm, read body language, recognize signs of discomfort or anxiety, and adjust my approach to the individual animal. Those skills carry over directly to working with nervous, energetic, young, or unfamiliar pets. When caring for someone’s animals, I take both their pets and their home seriously. I follow feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions closely, keep pet areas clean, and provide regular photos and detailed updates. My goal is to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. Animals have always been a major part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I do not shy away from detailed instructions, multi-step care, unusual pets, or households with several animals. In fact, I appreciate the opportunity to learn what makes each animal feel safe, comfortable, and understood. Every pet deserves patient, attentive care, especially the ones who need a little extra time and understanding. Animal care is already a major part of my daily routine, and I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am available for early mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight stays, weekends, holidays, and many last-minute requests. I can accommodate dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. Safety, consistency, and communication are my top priorities. Every pet has different needs, and I take the time to learn their routine, personality, exercise requirements, medications, and any special instructions before care begins. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, multi-pet households, separation anxiety, oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. During house sitting, I stay offer to stay overnight and spend as much time as possible with your pets, only leaving when necessary for classes, work, errands, or other commitments. I am happy to bring in mail and packages, water plants, take out trash, and help maintain your home while you’re away. I provide regular photo updates and communication so you always know how your pets are doing. I treat every home with respect and strive to leave it exactly as I found it. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, senior, medically involved, or simply has a detailed routine, I am committed to providing patient, attentive, and reliable care.

Ashlyn was an angel who not only did an exceptional job caring for our babies while we were at our son’s wedding, she acted quickly and decisively when our golden retriever had a medical emergency. When you are away from your animals the last thing you would want is an emergency call from your pet sitter. Well, we had an early morning call from Ashlyn who was not only calm, she had already contacted the emergency vet service and explained that our dog had a seizure. From beginning to end, Ashlyn not only communicated everything to us, she also, stayed with our dog until he was ready to come home. I was so blown away by her kindness, concern, and compassion that she had for our poor dog who was having health issues and scared. She treated our dogs as if they were her own, and for that, I am forever grateful. Thank you, Ashlyn. We will never be able to thank you enough for making sure our dog was ok. It was the most stressful few hours not being able to be with our dog, but also comforting that Ashlyn was communicating and loving him in our place! I would highly recommended Ashlyn. She is mature, responsible and an animal lover. I just can’t say enough good things about her stay with our 4 dogs.

We had a wonderful experience with Lisa! She took excellent care of our dog, Dirk, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Dirk was happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention and affection. When we returned home, the house was spotless and looked just as good as—if not better than—when we left. It was obvious Lisa treated our home with great care and respect. We truly appreciated the regular updates and the reliability throughout our trip. We will gladly book Lisa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible house sitter!

Anne was good with our pups. We have a 13 week old puppy so that was a challenge but she did well overall. She stayed at the house and everything was clean when we returned. FAQs for House Sitting - Parvin

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Parvin on Rover is $55.5 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 4,059 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Parvin. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Parvin walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Parvin maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Parvin choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parvin. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
