“Casandra did an amazing job of caring for our babies. All five of them were so excited and happy to see us so we know they were very well taken care of. She also did an amazing job of keeping up with the poop and fluff situation in the house. Would highly recommend.”

“We were very happy with Stephanie for staying with our dog Lily. This was the first time having a pet sitter and happy that Stephanie was able to calm our anxiousness of leaving her.”

About: Hello! My name is Kailey, and caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have never lived without one. I currently have two dogs of my own, whom I have had since I was young. Spending time with and caring for dogs is one of my greatest passions. I believe they are incredibly loyal, loving companions who deserve patience, attention, and plenty of affection. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, companionship, or simply someone to keep them comfortable while you're away, I am committed to providing the highest level of care. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and will treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I give my own. My goal is to make both you and your pets feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for every step of the way. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs throughout the day. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits and am happy to make multiple visits per day if needed. I have many years of hands-on experience caring for my own dogs and understand the importance of providing a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment. When caring for pets, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, potty breaks, and any other daily needs. I pay close attention to each pet's behavior and well-being to ensure they remain happy and comfortable while their owners are away. If your pet has any special requirements or preferences, I am happy to follow detailed instructions to provide the best possible care.
“Brianna was amazing with my two pups. One can be a grumpy old man but he was such a happy pup with her. She kept me updated and sent pics throughout the night. She was so polite and respectful of my home. I would definitely rebook the next time I need help with the boys!!”

“Magee formed a quick bond with our dog, Clark and made sure he enjoyed the long weekend while we were out of town! She was communicative, proactive, and had great follow up! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Melanie was great with ALL my animals (dogs, cats, chickens)! She went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and sincerely cared about my fur babies. I would highly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs!”

“Isabell did such an amazing job watching our two dogs. She was super communicative, proactive and was even nice enough to help us out with an extra morning drop in due to our evening flight being canceled, which delayed us from getting back to our pups in the evening as intended. We truly appreciate how attentive and caring she was, and will definitely book again.”

“We’ve used Elizabeth’s services multiple times for drop in visits for my Golden Retriever and recently she also house sat him for a week. Elizabeth is awesome - always punctual, easy to communicate with, very organized, kept us updated about Milo and we even came back to very clean house. I trust her completely with my pet.”

“Madison was great! She took such good care of my elderly German Shepard, Claire. Claire has a pretty complicated routine, and usually struggles when I travel But this time I am not sure that Claire missed me at all. I will certainly rebook with her next time I travel.”

“Our dogs felt so comfortable with Nikki right away! She has a calming presence and took wonderful care of our two dogs. Nikki communicated very well and was proactive. She went above and beyond my expectations! Our dogs had a great week with her :)”

About: I’ve been dog sitting ever since I was in middle school. I am very familiar with watching dogs for long periods of time, along with staying at their homes. Giving medicine, bathing, and walking I am also very comfortable and familiar with. I am typically always free in the mornings, middle of the day, and flexible during evening hours. Then I am always free on the weekends. I have a cat and a dog both at home, so I am familiar with many services. Including, giving medicine, specially dietary needs, wound care, allergies, and maintaining cleanliness.
“I can’t say enough good things about June. I haven’t left my cat, who I consider my baby, alone in over two years. She’s become very attached to me lately so I was a bit anxious with leaving her with anyone. Before committing, I met with June and after a good meeting, my fears were completely gone. I couldn’t have found a better person to take care of my Baba. June is a very responsible and caring person. She sent photos my cat daily and I could clearly see that my cat did NOT miss me. LOL. When I returned home, my house was better than when I left. Spotless and she even changed the sheets, washed them and made the bed. An added bonus, she knew exactly when I would be home and had the garage door open so all I had to do was pull in. I couldn’t have been happier. I HIGHLY recommend her to take care of your pet. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.”

“Kayleigh did an excellent job house sitting and watching all of our pets for us. We had a last minute family emergency come up and needed to find someone quickly. She stepped right in and took charge. She was organized, detailed in her notes and updates, professional, and gave our fur babies all the love and attention the needed. We will definitely be booking her for all our future trips.”

“Shannon did great with my 2 dogs and was extremely accommodating. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates so I never had to wonder how they were doing. I will definitely use her again.”

“Jacqueline watched our 14 week old lab puppy along with our almost 3yo lab overnight. Everything was great. She provided frequent updates, kept the dogs occupied and put our minds at ease while we were away. We’ll definitely use her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Little Elm
I was originally nervous about leaving my babies for a week, as it was one of the longest times I’ve been away from them. Isabell made sure they had everything they needed, provided updates along the way, and gave them love and attention while I was gone. I came home to a clean house and happy animals, which is always the most important thing! I appreciate her help and the care she provided while I was away!

Cassandra continues to provide terrific care for our pets. I feel very comfortable leaving them in her care. Even though she has to work to get our dog to accept her she doesn’t give up, and instinctively knows what they need. I’ll be booking her again next year. Thanks for caring for our pet babies.

Loved loved loved Taytum! She’s very sweet and attentive to the dogs. She was extremely communicative, always sending pictures, videos, and other text updates. She was never difficult to reach and was always clear about what she’s doing and how the day went. She even ran back during her lunch breaks to walk the dogs - which is something so appreciated by us! I could tell how much the dogs loved her and loved having her there. We were gone for several days out of country and she made us comfortable from day one. Booking her from start to end was a breeze. We can’t wait to book again as she’s one of the best sitters we’ve had! Definitely don’t think twice about booking 💛

Erin was so great taking care of our cat, dog and home while we were gone on an almost week trip away to another country. I trusted her fully and she was very great at sending updates on how everything was going. Really kept my mind at ease! When we came back, the house was in perfect shape and the animals were happy and stress free. Definitely will use Erin again!
Carmen was fantastic! She stayed at our home and took great care of our dog; she even sent pictures of their walks and responded when we reached out to check on things. She washed all the linens she used and the house was just as we left it. We definitely recommend her and will use her again ourselves!

I have an older dog that I don’t like leaving with anyone other than my parents, so I was a little nervous, but Kelby did great. My dog loved her immediately, she stayed at my house, I got regular updates, and my house was just as clean as when I left it. Would definitely recommend!

Stephanie watched both my dogs over a holiday. She has house/dog sat for me before. One of my dogs has a seizure disorder so I’m picky about who watches them. Both dogs loved Stephanie and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were in good hands. I highly recommend her.

Cristel is amazing! She stayed with our pups at our house while we were gone and sent us photos each day. Our dogs were relaxed and happy when we got home so we know they got plenty of exercise and enjoyed spending time with Cristel. We will happily book Cristel again for future trips!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 4,701 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Little Elm. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Little Elm walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Little Elm maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Little Elm choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
