About: I absolutely love animals, I have grown up with them throughout my entire life, Dog's are especially special to me, I have had one by my side since I was old enough to know what a dog was. I would be a great pet sitter because I love meeting all critters and creatures and I would take care of your animal like my own . I have 2 fur-children of my own, Major Tom (Maine Coon) & Penny (Dachshund). They are my world! I do have experience as a veterinary receptionist/vet tech and worked at Southridge animal Hospital for four years. I am well-versed in how to do diabetic injections, giving animals their medication’s on schedule, making sure they have a healthy diet and exercise. I have a deep knowledge of animal behavior. I want to keep all animals, healthy, and safe and loved! Looking forward to taking care of some furry little angels! I have no problem spending extra time, snuggling and playing and just being there for comfort . Animals get lonely and honestly getting the chance to hang out and love on them and spend some extra time does not bother me at all! I would pet it for a lot of the clients that came to the animal hospital. I worked at and I do still see a couple from time to time when they need it and having a medical background with animals is very useful at times and an understanding of animal medicine. Hope to get to meet your loved ones! I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies needs! I am very flexible and I was born and raised in Denton Texas so I know the area very well. I know where all the dog parks are. I can walk with them give them baths, even nail trims from when I learned at the animal hospital. I have a fenced in backyard if your pets ever needed to come to my house, I also have crates and my siblings have extra pins for their kids that work well for puppies that I could always bring over if need be and baby gates. Jo did a great job with my very demanding wobbly cat. She frequently has accidents peeing over the side of the litter box while attempting to hold herself steady. She will not use the litter box at all unless it has just been scooped. I have trouble myself getting rid of the smells from these accidents, but I came home to a very clean litter box and no accident stains or smells. She was also immediately friendly and not skiddish like she has been when left in the past.
This was the 1st time in a long time to be away from our 3 kids. Ashley was great. She send pictures of our fur babies and made sure they were taken care of. The acid test was when we returned. Betty did not want Ashley to leave! Looking forward to having her for our next outing.
Hannah was great to communicate with and was able to jump in last minute to spend all day with our golden retriever in our home.
