Active, Experienced, and Dependable
Animals have always been a really big part of my life. I have two Labradors of my own, Bear and Oakley, so I’m very used to big dogs, lots of energy, and all the funny little personalities that come with them. I’m also a very active person and genuinely love getting outside, so long walks, trails, playing outside, and keeping dogs busy are some of my favorite parts of pet sitting. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant and have experience with dog walking and pet sitting, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with different needs, sticking to their routines, and giving medications when needed. But honestly, what I enjoy most is getting to know each pet and figuring out what makes them happiest and most comfortable. I know how much our pets mean to us, because I feel the same way about Bear and Oakley. I want every pet I care for to get plenty of attention, exercise, patience, and love while their person is away 💛

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work pet care into my daily routine easily. I’m able to accommodate different schedules and can usually work around your pet’s normal routine, whether they need a quick drop-in, a longer walk, or someone to stay with them. I enjoy being active and spending time outside, so getting out for walks and giving pets plenty of attention fits naturally into my week.

I have a fenced yard and two Labradors to keep your pup company. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I always want them to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’ll keep them on their normal routine, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they get all the little things they’re used to at home. I worked as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable caring for pets and paying attention to the little changes that can sometimes be easy to miss. I’m also big on keeping pets safe, whether that means double-checking a gate, being careful on walks, or making sure they get their medications. I love sending photos and updates, I know I appreciate the same for Bear and Oakley when someone is caring for them.

A typical day
A typical day with me usually involves a good mix of getting outside and relaxing. I’m originally from Montana, where hiking and spending time outdoors with my dogs was a big part of our everyday life, and I still love bringing that same active lifestyle into my days here in Texas. Depending on the pet, that might mean a long walk, exploring outside, playing in the yard, or just getting some fresh air together. We also love a good afternoon of cuddling up on the couch, taking a nap, or just hanging out together. I’m happy to match whatever your pet enjoys most, whether they’re ready for an adventure or would rather spend the day being cozy and getting lots of attention.
