About: I have 3 years of experience working in an animal shelter, where I was lucky enough to care for animals of all kinds. I am familiar with the necessary care needed for pets of all ages, from baby to senior. I am practiced in giving medication and basic grooming/ maintenance, as well as having worked with trainers in the past though I am not credentialed. Due to my history, I am also experienced working with animals with behavioural issues and am not intimidated by the size of a pet. I am currently between jobs and, therefore, am able to move around my schedule at will. I have a reliable form of transportation that allows me to be wherever you need me to be when you need me to be there. My apartment is not large enough, nor would the complex allow me to, house animals not already on my lease, but I am physically capable of taking dogs out multiple times per day on walks (duration depends on the heat). I play with my own animals multiple times a day for at least 20 minutes each, so rest assured your cats will also get the exercise they deserve. Tori was wonderful with my dog! I booked drop in visits and couldn’t schedule a meet and greet beforehand, so I gave her a heads up that my Shorkie would be very anxious with a stranger coming in. Her first update put me completely at ease. She said he was too nervous to even take treats at first, but she was patient with him, and once she mentioned going for a walk he warmed up. After the walk she tried playing with his toys, but he just wanted belly rubs from her, so she gave him lots of belly rubs and he gave her lots of kisses. By her second visit, he was excited to see her! I booked her for 4 drop in visits in one week and it was excellent for my dog and my peace of mind Communication was excellent — detailed updates, quick responses. She was accommodating to everything my dog needed and so easy to work with. She went above and beyond, and I’d absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!
