About: Hi! I’m Carrie, and I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. As a former veterinary assistant, I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and learned the importance of their health, safety, and well-being. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, and other small pets, and I’m happy to care for almost any animal. I’m experienced in administering medications, including pills, topical medications, and injections, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions. Whether your pet needs extra attention, a special routine, or simply lots of love, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and overnight house sitting so your pets can stay relaxed in their own home. I am doing this as my source of income, so my schedule is open to check on your cat whenever it is needed. My schedule is flexible. I have four cats of my own. About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my emphasis on ensure that each dog's routine is followed and that they are relaxed throughout their stay. I will make sure to provide excellent communication to pet owner's through video, call, and text! I'm currently working full-time for the time being and my off days alternate between Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday so I will make sure to update the calendar as needed! The days that I am off will have the most time to make sure your lovely pet gets the care and love that they need! If the pet parents are comfortable, when I am working, I always make sure that the fur babies I keep are taken care of before I go to work, and soon as I get off. From taking your pet in my own home, to having regular day visits for your furry friend, I prioritize their well being by providing a safe environment, following feeding and grooming requests and schedules, providing exciting playtime and exercise, and maintaining clear and constant communication with owners. My most recent care experience with dogs were for 14-16 year old dachshunds that had special needs. I also had the privilege and trust to foster a cat, Oppo, until he could be found a new forever home. When caring for animals, it’s important to treat them with care and as if they were my own. About: I have taken care of pets for neighbors, family, and friends since 2014, most often as a sitting while the owners are out of town. I work 32 hours a week as a nanny and have a split schedule; this will allow me to visit your pets during breaks between work shifts in the morning, afternoon, and evenings. I am available to stay overnight as well. I love caring for my pet Rex. I love to give him treats, toys, take him on walks, etc. Anything to keep him feeling engaged and enriched.
