“Carrie was awesome! She sat my Kitty girl in our home. Made drop in visits twice a day to feed, water, scoop poop and administer meds to Kitty. She sent pics of my girl each day to let me know she was ok. She’s both of our favorite now (and Kitty doesn’t like anyone so that’s saying a lot). Carrie was very trustworthy and dependable and we will definitely be booking her again in the future when needed.”
“So glad we found Katie! From the start, she was communicative and attentive. The care and attention she gave our pets was outstanding — we felt completely at ease knowing our fur babies were in great hands. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pets, and that says it all. Couldn’t be happier and will absolutely be booking again!”

“Jessica was an outstanding cat sitter, and we couldn't be happier with the care she provided for our two cats while we were away. Both of our cats are extremely shy around new people, so we knew it would take someone patient and attentive to care for them properly. Jessica did a wonderful job making sure all of their needs were met, even when they weren't eager to come out and socialize. She was dependable, communicative, and clearly experienced with cats of different personalities. We especially appreciated the updates and photos she sent, which gave us peace of mind while we were traveling. It was clear that she paid close attention to their well-being and made sure they were comfortable, fed, and cared for throughout our trip. When we returned home, our cats were happy, healthy, and relaxed. We are very grateful for the excellent care Jessica provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable cat sitter.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of attention and affection. As an Animal Science student, I am passionate about animal health and welfare, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am a college student with a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable and attentive pet care throughout the week. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and overnight care when needed. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routines and making sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. During visits, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I understand that pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I strive to keep their routine as normal as possible while providing plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I also respect my clients’ homes, keep things clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Erica's really great to my pups, gentle and patient ever with my crazy 10 month old pup. She's responsive and receptive to last minute changes and communicates well before and after each visit! Bonus for the great pictures she gets of my critters ! (-:”

“Michelle was great! I am always nervous about leaving my furbabie behind, but receiving pictures and updates truly put me at ease! I will definitely use Michelle again as Cam seemed to be very happy when I arrived home, not mad at me like usual ?”

“To be able to go away and know that my cats are well cared for and able to stay in their home is a blessing. Carol is amazing with them. I will continue to have Carol watch them. The peace of mind is invaluable.”

About: I have a lot of experience with caring for animals. I have had several dogs and cats over the years. I have always enjoyed pet sitting for family and friends and I have even fostered a baby calf that was orphaned. I Raised her for a year until I found her a forever home in east Texas, where she now lives and has had four babies. I love animals and especially love being able to have them come visit us. Eddie our family dog has always gotten along with other dogs and even cats. He loves to have pup friends come and stay and play. Our home has a large backyard for your pet to play and roam around. We can accommodate you pup with a separate place to sleep or they are welcome to play, relax and sleep wherever they feel comfortable. Your visiting pup will be treated as one of our own. They will have plenty of playtime while visiting. Our family spends a lot of time in our backyard, allowing your pup to constantly be around others. I don't mind pet sitting for different clients at the same time. I would only do this if I already know the pups behavior and know for sure that they can get along with others. I am here for the most part all day/night. I am able to let the pets out as needed which usually works out to be every 2-4 hours. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and playing. I am able to crate your pup if needed. My dog Eddie loves to have other pets visiting and eager to play. Also have cats that generally get along with dogs as long as they do not chase them. About: I don’t have any pet care through an employer, but I have always loved all animals. I currently own 2 Dobermans and a Dachshund who I love with my whole heart! One day I would like to open up a sanctuary so I can share my love for animals and make a change! I currently am not employed, so I have lots of free time for pet care. My dogs are everything to me. I have a 2 year old Dobie named Willow, a 5 year old Dobie named Lana, and a 1 year old Dachshund named Honey. If I could be a stay at home mom and never leave them, I would. Playing with dogs makes me feel whole and happy, so I believe it would be the perfect job for me! I have a fenced yard with lots of running space. All 3 of my girls are very sweet and LOVE to play! If I need to come stay at your place for pet care that’s more than fine, I have a spouse that can take care of my dogs while I come to your place! The #1 priority for me is making sure you and your dog are comfortable, I understand that being away from your animals can be tough for you and your puppers.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
