“Dasia was great with our pups ! She was extremely organized and never missed a beat. We loved all the updates she gave us while we were away. It left us reassured that our babies and house were in great hands. Will definitely book with her again :)”

“We cannot recommend Natalie highly enough! She stayed at our home for two weeks to care for our dogs, and we came home to happy, well loved pups and a house that was just as clean as we left it. What truly set her apart was her kindness and flexibility. When we unexpectedly had to extend our trip by a few days to attend a family funeral, she didn’t hesitate to rearrange her schedule so she could continue caring for our dogs. That level of compassion and reliability meant the world to us during a very difficult time. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with frequent messages and lots of photos which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious our dogs were comfortable, loved and receiving excellent care. She treated both our pups and our home as if they were her own. Finding someone you can fully trust with your home and your pets is rare, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again (and already have) and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring and professional pet sitter. We love her!”

“There are not enough good things to say about Katie. Not only was she great with my dogs, but she was in contact the entire time I was away, sending updates and photos. I think my dogs were more bummed about her leaving than they were excited for me to come home. I can only hope she is available the next time I need to go out of town!”

“Kayleigh did such a great job with Zoey! Zoey was happy and playful and I got lots of great updates while I was away. Kayleigh also took great care of my home, leaving it neat and clean, helping me out by taking out the trash, washing her dishes, and placing her towels in the washer before I came home. I will definitely use her again.”

“Sasha was wonderful for my babies!! She was so communicative the entire trip and sent pictures. Both of my dogs have their individual medical issues, so it’s hard to find someone I trust to take care of them as well as I do… but Sasha did! Thank you, Sasha!!”

“Isabell did such an amazing job watching our two dogs. She was super communicative, proactive and was even nice enough to help us out with an extra morning drop in due to our evening flight being canceled, which delayed us from getting back to our pups in the evening as intended. We truly appreciate how attentive and caring she was, and will definitely book again.”

“When we travel out of town, Jacqueline is the first we reach out to because we know our dogs love her. She always takes great care of them and goes out of her way to spoil them.”

“Louann did an amazing job taking care of our anxious pup. She stayed with her, played with her, and left the house spotless. We appreciate her so much! It is evident how much she loves dogs.”

“Best sitting experience we ever have had, and let me tell you… we have had some bad ones! Our Bulldog is not very trusting and within 5 minutes of meeting Ms. Patti, he was sitting with her on the floor, and letting her pet him! We knew we had found the perfect sitter. She came over once more before our trip and the same thing happened! For once, we left feeling very confident that they were in the right hands. He even came out of his hiding place to sit with her which AGAIN, never happens! Ms. Patti is a such a reliable person to have stay in your home as well! Our house looked just like we left it or even better! She kept us up to date on what they were doing/ and if they were having any issues. She sent pictures and texts at least every morning and evening. When we arrived home, the boys were happy to see us but we know they want Ms. Patti back!”

“Hannah did a great job with our animals while we were away over the weekend. We get very worried about our pets while we are away and she sent us updates and pictures on how they were doing. A couple of our pets have nervous behaviors and she was very flexible and understanding with their care. Thank you!”
“Reilly did a phenomenal job house and pet sitting. Her communication put us at ease and she asked very thoughtful questions. She absolutely looked after our home and pets like they were her own. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Hello! I’m an animal lover who grew up with both a female and a male dog, both about 8 years old. Recently, our third dog passed away at 16 due to some age-related health complications, so I have experience with senior dogs as well. I also have both a female and a male cat that are about 12 and 5 years old, respectively. I have experience pet-sitting for both family and neighbors. I’ve pet-sat small dogs, such as a French bulldog and a Boston terrier, as well as larger breeds, such as an American yellow Labrador and a Great Dane. All the friends and family members I have pet sat for have cats as well. I’m currently between jobs as I’m transitioning to studying for a graduate school entrance exam. My schedule is open and will revolve around your fur babies. I’m a morning person, but I will gladly take evening walks. I'm mainly looking for dog-walking opportunities, but I am open to short-term pet sitting. I do have my cat at my apartment, so I would only be able to do drop-in visits and walks otherwise.
The median cost per night for house sitting in Frisco is $50

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kaylie was absolutely amazing with my dogs! From the moment we traveled, I felt completely at ease knowing Orion and Toby were in such caring and capable hands. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly loved all the attention they received. Kaylie went above and beyond to make sure their routines stayed consistent and that they felt comfortable and safe. It’s obvious how much she genuinely cares about animals. I would highly recommend Kaylie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Akin took exceptional care of my dog, Gunner, during our 9-day trip. This was our first time having a sitter stay in our home, and we were also out of the country, so trust and communication were really important to us. From the very beginning, Akin made us feel at ease. He sent daily updates and photos, and we always knew how Gunner was doing without having to check in. During the stay, Gunner got sick once, and Akin let me know right away and kept an eye on him. At another point, when Gunner didn’t have much of an appetite, Akin even cooked him chicken to make sure he was eating. That level of care meant a lot and gave me real peace of mind. When we got back, it was obvious Gunner had been well taken care of. He was excited to see us but calm and relaxed, which has not always been the case with past sitters. It really showed that he was comfortable and in a good routine the whole time, with no changes in his behavior. Akin followed all of our instructions, including giving Gunner his daily medication and keeping me updated on that. He made sure Gunner got his walks, paid attention to the weather, and even took him to the dog park in our apartment complex. The pictures he shared were great. We also came home to a house that looked just like we left it, if not a little cleaner, and he left a small flower bouquet on the dining table, which was such a thoughtful touch. We would absolutely book Akin again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely caring sitter.

Having Angela watch my dog was an awesome experience. She communicated clearly and consistently, was super friendly, and made the whole process effortless from start to finish. I genuinely felt at ease knowing my dog (and my home) were in great hands. She also left my place spotless, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Angela to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter.

An absolutely fantastic pet sitter! From the first meeting, it was clear she love animals. She followed all instructions, kept a great routine, and gave lots of affection and playtime. Communication was excellent throughout. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Isabelle is wonderful and thorough in her work.

We were so happy to find Rachelle. She was punctual, professional, great with our three dogs, and left our home clean and tidy. It hard to find people you feel comfortable leaving your home and furry family with for an extended period of time and so we really appreciated finding Rachelle and would definitely recommend her and welcome her back for future stays. Thank you, Rachelle

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Frisco walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Frisco maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Frisco choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
