Rover is currently my primary source of income, and helping animals is my calling. I graduated from UTD with a Bachelor’s in Public Affairs in December 2024, and my dream is to work for an animal welfare nonprofit so I can help animals in need.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow the schedule laid out by owners to the letter. Your pets will always be fed and medicated on time. In regards to walks, if walking your dog is a part of their daily routine then I am happy to do it, but in the case of inclement weather or excessive heat/cold I might opt to play with them inside instead. I always take pet safety into account with everything I do, which means I’m very careful not to let the pets get out when I open a door and I go outside with dogs when it is after dark to ward off bobcats and coyotes. I’ll keep your pets safe and happy while you’re away and treat them like they’re my own!
Information Grace B. would like to know about your pet
Your primary vet’s contact number as well as any specific medical conditions in your pets and how to administer medication if needed for the dog or cat.
A typical day
I’ll play with your pet’s favorite toys, spend time petting them and giving them lots of attention, and sit outside with dogs when they go out at night. I give walks when the weather and dog health/temperament allows

Caring for Animals Is My Calling
Pet care experience
Hi, my name’s Grace, and I’ve been a professional pet sitter on Rover since April 2018! Helping and caring for animals is my goal in life, and I would love to have the opportunity to care for your pets. I have my own pet care insurance in addition to Rover’s guarantee in case of emergency. I am very comfortable giving non-injected medication to both cats and dogs, and I have extensive experience caring for senior pets, pets with chronic health issues, and pets with anxiety. I have also cared for pets with trauma before. Above all, I want your pets to feel safe and comfortable with me. I am open to pets of all ages, but senior pets have a place close to my heart. I helped care for my beloved childhood dog Pokey during his golden years, and I wouldn’t give up the time and effort spent making him feel safe and happy for anything. My goal is for every pet I care for to be safe and happy in my care. It’s my way of honoring Pokey.
Reviews

Came back to happy girls! Grace had great attention to detail and everything was in order when we returned.

Grace is the best. Always reliable, trustworthy and professional. She shares regular updates and photos. I feel safe leaving my dogs and house in her care. Highly recommended

Grace is wonderful. She always goes above and beyond.

Grace was amazing! She kept us updated with texts and pictures, and dealt two stormy nights. She left the house cleaner than it was when she arrived! I know the animals loved having her here!
